Lack of professionalism. The tech seemed to forget they were in my home and left their patience elsewhere.

I called at 2 in the afternoon. I will spare you the gory details , but 10 days and $14,000 later, the had torn up my dry wall in 2 room, cabinets and baseboards, ruined my countertops which all now need to be replaced and-NEVER CLEANED KITCHEN CLEANOUT, NOR LOOKED FOR LEAK! I hired a plumber after they left, who found the leak in 10 minutes, and had it repaired to minutes after that. Best part? Adjuster came, saw the small-still existing leak, and all the damage done by Roto-Rooter, denied the claim. They claimed I needed water remediation, mold remediation, Lead testing, asbestos testing, and although no lead or asbestos was found, charged for remediation of those, too. The mold found was tiny, they apparently have connections with the testing companies, they double charged for some things. They charged extra for nights and weekends, although there was no emergency. They saw me coming, I guess, and I trusted this known name. They business is model is deceptive, there charges were fraudulent, and although I probably could have won a lawsuit (on the billables alone, there are alit of shady, if not illegal things. But they wore me out. I paid it. But YOU DON'T HAVE TO. DO NOT USE THEM FOR ANY REASON. (I very rarely leave bad reviews. But they were so egregiously bad that I wanted to warn as many people as possible. i would like to amend this review to make it worse, because not only did they do all of this, but today I just found out that despite paying them in full, which I only did, because my mental health was suffering, they still filed a lien against my property. A full five days after I paid in full. In the comments below is pretty funny that they couldn't find me in their records since I have about twenty letters from them. But I will be contacting her in person. Of course. When you do try to call them, they don't ever answer.Unless you owe them money it will be interesting to see if this woman ever gets back to me.

Kicking 2026 off with a not-so-great review. I do not typically write negative reviews unless…read moreabsolutely warranted, and I try to avoid them whenever possible. Sadly, not only is this warranted, but it has been a long time in the works. Before writing this, I wanted to ensure that most of the incomplete work has been repaired by another, more trusted company. Nonetheless, I am writing this review to formally address my concerns regarding the incomplete and defective plumbing work performed by Holmes Pro Plumbing & Gas last January. I must also note, I did have some legal assistance in writing this, as I wanted to be fair in my language and concise, versus just emotional. Following the purported completion of the assistance, I identified multiple deficiencies and promptly communicated my concerns to the company. Below is a chronological summary of my attempts to obtain a resolution: 1. January 6, 2025: I received a response from you acknowledging my grievances. 2. January 10, 2025: I received a response from you acknowledging the reported issues, warranty, and proposing a date for repair of January 16, 2025, at 9-10 AM. 3. January 14, 2025: I reached out to further address my concerns and confirmed the appointment time. 4. January 16, 2025: Your company stated availability for an inspection/repair on the same day at either 10:00 AM or 12:00 PM. I confirmed the appointment, yet no one arrived, nor did I receive any further communication. 5. January 27, 2025: Your agency agreed to address the outstanding issues, providing availability on February 6 or 7, 2025. 6. Jan 30, 2025: I confirmed February 7, 2025. 7. February 7, 2025: I attempted to confirm the appointment and requested an itemized receipt detailing materials, labor costs, and SKU/product numbers for registration. No response was received, and once again, no one arrived. 8. February 19, 2025: I reached out again to confirm your availability. 9. February 22, 2025: Your company responded with availability on February 24, 2025, between 10:00 AM and 12:00 PM. 10. February 23, 2025: I confirmed the appointment, yet no response was received, and yet again, no one arrived on the scheduled date. The outstanding deficiencies that remain unresolved include, but are not limited to: * Replacement of the defective pop-up sink stopper due to continued leakage. * Re-caulking around the tub and vanity. * Addressing the chipped bathtub surface. * Inspection and necessary repairs to the showerhead and arm. * Repairing drywall around the showerhead. * Correction of the loose tub spout. * Tightening of the loose kitchen faucet. * Provision of proper product registration documentation for the toilet, tub, and vanity * Itemized receipt for products/labor The continued failure to return and remedy the defective workmanship constitutes misrepresentation, negligence, and a clear breach of contract. Furthermore, pursuant to Florida Administrative Code Rule Chapter 61G15, governing standards for plumbing contractors, your company is in violation of Rule 61G15-32.001, which establishes minimum requirements for plumbing system design, and Rule 61G15-35.002, outlining professional obligations and accountability in construction projects. Additionally, as a Registered Plumbing Contractor (License Number: RF11067820) under the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation (DBPR), you are bound by the professional and ethical obligations associated with your trade. Your repeated failure to fulfill contractual obligations raises serious concerns regarding compliance with state regulations. As that concludes the portion my lawyer peer helped me craft, now it's time for the emotional bit: It has been nearly a year later, and as I mentioned earlier, we've (my family and I) remedied MOST of the unresolved issues left behind by Homles Pro Plumbing and Gas. What is really disheartening is that they were recommended to me by a friend who is related to them. I went solely on the trust of my friend that their family would provide my family with the best possible service. I also wanted to support a Black-Owned local business. All of which backfired, and I am truly disappointed with the service we ultimately received. I informed my friend of my grievances. I also told them I'd be writing this review. Initially, I was going to post it after the final payment, but then I decided to wait until we were able to get some of the work they performed poorly, REDONE. I had so much hope and, to a degree, was deeply grateful for them when I initially started working with them. They were reasonable in pricing and worked with my family. However, things shifted, and the relationship between the service provider and customer soured. To this day, we still do not have that itemized receipt of work done alongside all SKU #'s, etc. At this point, I do NOT expect to see that itemized receipt EVER. We will not EVER recommend them.

From the owner: • “We’re a licensed, local plumbing & gas contractor serving Central Florida fast response,…read morehonest pricing, and work that’s built to last.” • “From water heaters to full remodels, we do it all and we back our work with a real warranty.”
