Let me start off with I only heard great things about ABC Cleaning of Orlando, but like others before, I received a coupon in the weekly mail magazine for $89.00 air duct and dryer duct cleaning from a imposter company here in Deltona. As Keith G. mentioned in his review two guys showed up in a black unmarked pick-up truck with a few tools that looked like they just picked up at a pawn shop. All I really wanted was my dryer duct cleaned but I thought for $89 I was getting a bargain. When they entered my house as other reviews mentioned the one who knew english said he wanted to inspect my air duct which he did with his phone flashlight and said the coupon would be invalid since my ducts were very dirty. He quoted me over $2800.00 to do the cleaning. I told him that I just had a new A/C and Ductwork installed approximately six months earlier and he told me that it had black mold in it and offered a $200 discount if I would let them clean it that day. I realized I was being scammed and told them I would pay the $89.00 just to get my dryer vent cleaned. He was upset but told the other guy to clean it which took approximately 5 minutes, again with equipment that looked like it was worn out. My Air Sensor on my new LG Dryer stayed on after they left so I realized I will need to get the Dryer Duct cleaned again properly. I had them come to my house today, 2 man. Came in a pickup truck didn't see no other equipment other than a bag and 6ft ladder. I want my vents and dry vent cleaned. I had a coupon for total job of $99.00 for all. The person who ran the 2 was dealing with a car dealership finance person, just blah, blah, blah. He had his helper open the living room air duct vent. Then he got up and checked it he said my vents were fine he used his phone flash light. I said how about checking the other ones he said it wouldn't be necessary. I felt that was BS. At that point I said if you think its not necessary I guess I don't need you. He asked for my coupon back I gave it to him. I was disappointed with the swevixw. The tech spent more time trying g to sell me additional al services than xleaning my ductwork. The vacume was not secured to the discharge vent securely and when I told him about it he just said not ro worry. When I turned down buying additional services he just looked at me and said "well I'm done here" disconnected the vacume and asked for the payment and left. I don't usually leave reviews, but I was very disappointed by the service I received. I guess you get what you pay for. To start, when the technician arrived, he didn't have a shoe protector. When I offered him one to wear, he seemed a bit annoyed. I had two AC duct and dryer vent cleaned. I utilized a coupon that was offered from the home magazine. The coupon that was offered noted that there would be a camera inspection performed on my air ducts. This service was not performed. The technician shined his cell phone light to look at my vents for a few seconds. I guess that must be my camera inspection. The actual duct cleaning involved hooking up a hepa filter machine to one of my vents. I sat there and watch the filter to see if I would notice any dirt particles come out from my ceiling. I didn't notice any dirt or debris return. What I imagined from the service is not what I actually received. I don't feel as if my ducts were actually serviced because I wasn't provided with any proof. I asked the technician to show me what came out of my AC vent, but he could not show me anything. I expected to be provided with a before and after picture of the work that was done. This company advertise a before and after camera photo of the AC ducts on their coupon. My point with all this is don't provide false advertisement. I paid in full for the service, but I did not receive full service. I did call the company and spoke to Vanessa regarding my displeasure. I wish Yelp had more reviews for services and not just restaurants, so here's my take on ABC Cleaning. My house is old, and the AC was checked previously and it was determined (by another company) that the heat function would never work unless I get a new unit. Fortunately in Florida we don't get very cold, and I have a fireplace. I had never used the fireplace since I bought the house, so I knew it needed to get properly inspected, here's where ABC Cleaning came in. I found them online and decided to give it a try, fortunately they were able to accommodate my schedule and showed up on time, they also called when they were on their way. It was two guys that came over, and it didn't take too long, maybe an hour tops. They were very polite and knowledgeable, they inspected everything and gave me options for what I needed, they cleaned the fireplace thoroughly and answered the myriad of questions I had (since I had never used a fireplace before). Price was definitely fair and I can't complain about anything. I will definitely call them back next time I need to get the chimney sweeped! read more

Three employees (one a family member) which cleaned our ac ducts, STOLE MONEY right out from my special needs son's room. Disgusting!!! One of the owners, Brady, said he would make good on it and now refuses to because the Sheriff's Department detective found no usable fingerprints. We relocated to Orlando after having many losses the past 18 months. I work very hard for my money. I know exactly how my son's baby bottle bank is positioned in his room, how we fold the money specifically and what monies I recently placed in from the "Tooth Fairy." I told Brady that my son has been scared to go to his room without lighting and afraid "they are coming back" to take his remaining money and toys. He has ignored my messages. Very sad! The second worst part is: My mother whom is elderly and homebound due to health conditions allowed them in to work. Unfortunately, the workers refused to wear masks so she retreated to her room. As I returned home from a long day at work, only to find trapped ac dirt, debris, trash, food containers and Slurpee drink cups from 7-11 in my garage and outside in my lawn, used gloves, screws in the driveway, the floor in the dining room, living room table, garage, atop the kitchen refrigerator, kitchen counter, and most worrisome was a handful of sharp screws left in my son's bed. Along was cardboard with a sticky substance on the throw carpet and overspray (later to find out was a sealant) on brand new black stainless washer & dryer. They never covered any of our furniture, or beds. Nothing! I moved items the night before completely away from the returns, too. Still debris was left everywhere. I was smart enough to take photos and videos of everything. Just an awful experience all the way around. Please do not use this company, no matter how reasonably priced they seem. We had a terrible problem with sticky lint, small white flecks of what appeared to be paint, and dust coming from our Air Conditioning vents. We called ABC 5 years ago for a routine cleaning and they did a nice job, were very friendly, and operated like a "family business". We were caught in a worse situation with all the construction, road-grading, and tree burning going on in South Orange County. After our previous experience, we called them and "lo and behold" virtually the same crew returned including the Assistant GM., Brady O'Dell, who made the initial estimate prior to the crew coming out. They worked diligently winding their large bulky equipment around the house and up and down the stairs without a scratch. They carefully removed all the vents and grates and replaced them. We have been suffering with allergies and the constant cleaning for several years. I am sure we will see our friends again from ABC Cleaning in the future. Thank you ABC Cleaning! read more

These guys just earned my business forever and many, many future referrals.. I recently had their crew out to clean air ducts and chimneys for an older home just purchased. Tony, Devon and Darion did a great job, very thorough and professional. Realized the next day that the A/C condenser wasn't turning on with the air handler and gave them a call, assuming it could be related to the work they performed because let's face it, stuff sometimes happens when you have work done in an older home. Ten minutes after speaking with Andrea at their office, one of the business owners (Ed) called me personally and had a tech from their A/C business dispatched to address the issue. Patrick (tech and co-owner) arrived shortly thereafter, found a loose wire as the culprit and quickly corrected it. It's always nice when a company stands by their work. It's AMAZING when a company (and its owners) leap into action and get a problem totally resolved within an hour of calling to report an issue. I give a two-star because the scheduling and technical service was great, but I was unable to get past customer service from the owner. Prior to having our flue cleaned, I emailed photos of our roof pitch (10/12) in case the tech needed roof access. Also emailed photos of our hearth heater which sits on the hearth, not inside the fireplace. The original flue cleaning price at $150 seemed fair; however, after the technician called Ed, the price increased an extra $200 to move the hearth heater a couple of feet out to gain access to the flue inside the fireplace. He said he would need to send 4 men out to move the heater. My husband, who was 75 at the time, and I put it in. Ed should reconsider customer service. He certainly shared his opinions. He told us it was an insert and not installed to legal construction standards. He refused to be liable for cleaning our flue. He would not listen, had already made up his mind, and shut out any information we could provide. Regency Fireplace installers meticulously went through the process of safe and proper installation with us. In short, Ed's comments felt disrespectful almost to the point of insulting. It seemed like he accused us of illegally installing the heater. As a grand finale, we were charged $90 for the non-service ABC Cleaning provided. Ed gave his competitor's name, Young's Chimney Services, for us to contact. I do not want to discount this business simply because of Ed's reaction since several reviews have been very favorable. Had we not gone through the extra work to provide the description and photos to determine if the company was interested in and equipped to provide chimney cleaning services, we would not have been shocked to learn, "We won't do it and, by the way, you owe us $90 for not doing it." I stand by my initial review as the description of my experience with ABC Cleaning Inc of Orlando for work that they performed in my home on March 5, 2018, but have changed my rating from one star to three stars due to the quick and empathetic response of the owner (Ed). All American Water Restoration, Orlando (AAWR) contracted this company and I complained to AAWR the day after ABC did work in my home and was told that AAWR contacted ABC with my complaint (to which I heard no reply). I encourage others to reach out directly to Ed regarding any questions or issues; he stands passionately behind all work performed by his company. All American Water Restoration, Orlando (AAWR) sent this AC company to our house. They got dust and ceiling plaster everywhere. Every single vent in the house had ceiling plaster under it including the dresser in the Master bedroom, the TV in the living room, and the closet in the Master bedroom. They left greasy finger prints on the walls in three places, a pair of blue gloves in the backyard, did not replace the air filter that they took out but closed the AC handler as if they had without mentioning it, and their ladder marked and dented the wall in the stairwell. read more

I had some very specific questions about my fireplace and Thadius was able to answer all my questions. He truly listened to my concerns and I felt very comfortable with his answers. Disappointed with their service ; ( There is a cost to even come out...fair enough, I understand that, as with most businesses. But I was VERY specific to ask if they could check and perhaps replace my Chimney cap? I double asked = can they reach a second story?? they said no problem, our ladders will reach. When their techs got here...they then said NO we can't do this job / nor reach your chimney top. Yet I still paid for a regular service to come out $$$ Next time I would ask this company to come out and "Quote first"!! Because I ended up paying substantially, but I didn't get the full job done. Two thumbs down. However the ABC techs did give me a referral to yet another company, expressing every time they can't get something done ....they advise clients to this other company! Buyers Beware - Deceptive Pricing I called around town and ABC had the best price. I told them about my house (1 story home with a single wood burning fireplace) and I scheduled an appointment for the end of the month. I received a call a few days later saying there had been a cancelation and they could be by tomorrow. Lucky me I thought. They arrived on time but as soon as they looked at my fireplace I was told the price would be double. Wow, unexpected. I stayed home from work to have this happen, disappointing. I called the main office and spoke with the manager. I told him I was willing to pay a little more since my chimney was very dirty, but I wasn't about to pay double. He did not show any sympathy for me and the call left me feeling cheated and mislead. My initial experience with ABC was great. quick response with friendly service but the cleaners and the manager were not understand to my situation. I hope this review causes ABC to look at their company's culture and how they deal with hardworking people. In this day and age a successful company needs to be more customer centric. read more

I had ABC clean my ducts in my new house before I moved in. The whole house smelled off dog because of the past owner, and ABC did a perfect job. They hook up a giant vacuum truck to your HVAC unit and suck everything out while disinfecting all the ducts at the same time. The house smelled fresh for weeks afterward, and when the non-offensive disinfectant scent wore off, the house didn't smell like ANYTHING anymore! It was a little pricey, around $350, but it was worth it so I'm not taking a star off for that. read more

The tech did a great job cleaning the ducts alright along with cleaning his bowels out as well. I felt so violated, disgusted, unsafe and uncomfortable after speaking the manager who suggested did I want the tech to shit his pants or complete the job if I was aware he was going to have the nerves to feel that comfortable taking a dump in my personal space I would have asked him to leave and return. This company is very unprofessional I will be filing several complaints this shouldn't happen to anyone and to add to the fire this tech used my dercorated towels now woman you know that can strike a nerve. I had ABC Cleaning perform a pull and clean of my coils and air vent duct cleaning on 5/24/19 and paid over $900 for this service. They had to take apart and take the coils from the inside of the house outside to clean. But that's not the problem. About 2 weeks later I called them back about 8pm about my A/C not working. I called them first because they recently worked on my system. Even though they said they are a 24/7 service, they told me that no one would be available to come troubleshoot my system until the following evening!! I could understand several hours, but 20 plus hours later? I decided to reach a reputable A/C company Kalos and they were able to arrive within 30 minutes. The serviceman arrived about 9 pm and was professional. I followed the serviceman around and he found that a wire that ABC Cleaning installed from a float switch was loose and was the main issue. Kalos also found that the refrigerant was 1.5 pounds low of refrigerant, which should have been topped off by ABC Cleaning. When I contacted ABC Cleaning about the recent service call, they were short with me and ultimately refused to cover the service call because I should have waited for them over 20 plus hours to come instead of calling someone else to fix their problem. I told them I had pets and small children and the temperature inside the house was over 80 degrees at nighttime. During the next day it would be in the 90's and that is unacceptable to put my kids and pets through so I went with another company. ABC Cleaning did not care and still did not want to do anything for the inconvenience they put me through from a stupid loose wire their serviceman left behind. I will let everyone know who not to go to for their A/C needs until I ABC makes it right. read more

We needed our AC ducts cleanned due to mold created by issues with our AC. The crew came to do the cleaning but left a mess behind them, from leaving dirt wherever they touched and walked, to killing my grass in front of the house while cleaning the AC coils with some nasty product. That was just the tip of the iceberg, real pleasure came after I found out that the 2 checks I had given to ABC and agreed with them that one was to pay 50% now and the other one 50% in a month, had both been deposited at the same time a day after the service. I had to call ABC 3 times to finally get a phone call from the daughter of the owner who did not seem to care about the problem her company created to me and who had the lowest excuse possible for a company owner...blame their own employees... My recommendation to all of you looking for duct cleaning, STAY AWAY from ABC, find someone else more professional who cares about YOU, not just your MONEY! read more

My wife and I live in a home that's 27 years old. It's never had any duct work type cleaning done and I was a little hesitant knowing about the scams where they charge you $99 and come out, spray some air freshener, clean the outside of your registers and are gone in 20 minutes. But after opening one of the returns in my ceiling I could see the dust and dirt caked on the sides of the duct work extending the length of my home. Our back two bedrooms seem to get 'stuffy' according to some guest and visiting children. So I called my brother up north who's an A/C guy and he found us ABC Cleaning. The owner Ed came out, gave me a reasonable quote and we scheduled something for the following week. A two man crew showed up and a 3rd guy came a little later. They were there three hours. They hook up a massive hose to your air handler and basically suck out all the dirt. For the registers, they comer the opening and hook the hose up again. They cleaned the inside of the air handler, check for any leaks and They remove all the registers, clean them and put them back. This team was professional and top notch. WOW!! Being a woman, I felt immediately comfortable with this company. I say "being a woman" because 8 out of 9 companies try to rip us off thinking we don't know what its all about. And maybe we don't, but I can tell who is a bulls*&$@# and who is a good, honest, & decent person. The staff at ABC Cleaning are all good, honest people. I had ABC cleaning come out to evaluate my residential ducts and they offered a fair price for cleaning them of mold and dust. Booking the appointment was quick and easy, and they scheduled the service in a timeframe that was perfect for me. The team of Chris, Ray, and Al were friendly, informative, and professional, and made me feel safe and respected. They even kept an eye on my cat and were mindful of closing doors so the cat wouldn't escape. There was a little detritus from the cleaning that fell to the floor, and sure enough, the team swept everything up just as well as I would do it myself, and restored my floors back to clean. They made sure I understood what occurred in the cleaning, patiently answered all my questions, and provided helpful info for maintaining the AC unit moving forward.
