The atmosphere was nice. The waitress was very good. But I was not impressed with the food. Our table ordered fried pickles for an appetizer along with the artichoke dip. The artichoke dip was very good however, the dipping sauce for the fried pickles was not good. It has bacon in it, which then changed the whole flavor profile and made everything taste like hotdogs. I ordered fish and chips, but when the fish came, it was so incredibly salty because of the dusting that they put on it and it appeared from the outside because it was so dark that it was overcooked. I just couldn't eat it. I had to send it back. Another person at our table ordered the chicken strips and they seemed like they were not fresh made, and they were just from frozen nothing special and they were just blah. Two of my table mates got two different burgers that they were happy with and another table. Member got the sirloin which she enjoyed as well. My overall experience was not good as I ended up only having a side iced tea. read more

Very cool brewery building rehab. I really enjoyed the wings and sweet potato fries. The table next to us has a steak and salads. All which looked very good. Also appreciated being able to see the renovation throughout. read more

The hostess was able to take us right to a table. Impressive since it was comfortably full and the place to be I would highly recommend the walleye fish and chips I ordered. Perfectly fried. My nephew said his ribeye steak was even better than the one he raved about from Longhorn the night before Great vibe from the restaurant and staff. read more

Excellent place. I ordered the strawberry salad and it was phenomenal. Yes, A salad was phenomenal. If you love strawberry salad, this one with will blow your mind. Also the southwestern salad and a steak were ordered at our table. All were excellent. Service was great, it was super busy on a Friday night . they brought out the food out fairly quick . Service was great and they had a bunch of TVs. Food was meh. Good selection of beer but not wine.

I travel a lot & this is a must stop destination the huckleberry smoke house burger is by far the best burger I've ever had & I have not had another burger to its caliber anywhere else. The waiters are friendly & very consistent which is hard to find now a days. My only grievance is the metal chairs are the worst & I almost always sit In the booth so I don't feel like I'm eating on a playground slide. If I lived closer to this place I'd eat here weekly absolutely amazing gold standard. read more

I have been stuck on the short ribs nachos. I asked for extra onions and my husband has the peppers on the said. We split it and go home stuffed. It is a nice but not fancy place to eat. Inside and outside dining. If you come ask for Kelly or Shorty. They are the best servers. Everyone is in but they are my favorite. read more

My wife and I live in Lewistown and are retired, living on fixed incomes. We occasionally "treat" ourselves to a meal at West Feed Grilling. Recently, on a Sunday afternoon we went there for a late lunch. We both ordered chicken strips as they are crispy and not greasy. We both requested a salad with our meal. When our meal arrived our salads were laced with black, slimy pieces of lettuce, indicating bacterial breakdown. We pointed this out to our waitress and refused to eat our salads. This is not the first time we have gotten black, slimy lettuce in our salads. She did not offer to provide a substitute for our slimy lettuce, To our waitress's credit, however, she discounted our meal and gave me a chip for a free beer. We would have preferred a healthy salad with our meal. I'm not sure if we will ever go back. If you go there, request Kelli as your waitress, she is the best! read more

The food is good here and definitely worth coming back. I had a patty melt and my wife had the strawberry/chicken salad. The one gripe is they were out three of the six beer offerings on their drink card. How does that happen? I'm pretty flexible when drinking beer but am I happy to settle for my fourth choice? read more

The Smoked Reuben Sandwich is fantastic and definitely will order this again. Decent beer and a variety of wine. Great staff.

Beer was good but food was over priced and not that good. Wings were ok, buffalo is the Hottest sauce. Nachos were just chips, cheese, bbq pork, onions and bbq sauce. No sour cream, salsa, guacamole, olives, or anything else. It was okay but lacked anything special or flavor. Service was good, decor was modern, TV's for watching sports. read more

We had the best dinner here and everything we ate was delicious. I got a Caesar salad and although it was a simple salad it was great. There strawberry margaritas great too, though it was more like spiked strawberry lemonade. Our waitress was very welcoming and made sure all of our needs were met. The place looked great, was very well laid out for an older building and clean. read more

Had a pretty good buffalo chicken sandwich and sweet potato fries. The chicken remained crispy and the sauce was tasty. Maybe a little too saucy I ruined a lot of napkin but it was good. Sweet potato fries were good enough too. Service was prompt and there was plenty of lighting around midday. read more

Central feed is a hidden gem in Lewistown, my grandma (a resident) has been raving about this place since it opened and we finally got a chance to try it with her. As someone who has been visiting, and eating, in Lewistown since I was a baby it feels great to finally have a restaurant offering a little bit more elegant and experimental spin on traditional great northern cooking. Central feed offers nothing out of the ordinary in any brew pub, but everything has a unique spin on it. We got the huckleberry bbq wings, beer cheese nachos, and a salad and the wings were unique, tangy, and feature Montanas favor berry. The beer cheese nachos were awesome, by far the best beer cheese I've ever had. The building itself is modern rustic and would be a great date spot for locals or anyone passing through. Loved it and grandma appropriately hyped it up. read more

Great atmosphere, an upscale sports bar/restaurant. Very friendly staff, with great food! This is a must stop if you are in the area.

I am very impressed with this restaurant and brewery. I dined here on two consecutive nights when I was staying in Lewistown. The first night was bad on the menu and reviews. The experience was so good that I took another group the next night. What was so impressive and good? Both nights we were promptly greeted and taken to a table. The hostess was pleasant both nights. The ambiance was terrific. Our service was both nights by different waitresses was excellent. Both were friendly and fun. They were also very good. The food was as excellent as the ambience and service. I have not had a better steak at any restaurant except Morton's and a couple other WAY more expensive restaurants. The steaks at Central Feed were grilled to order. Both nights every member of my party had steaks that were grilled perfectly. The person running the grill is outstanding! If you're anywhere near Lewistown, this is THE restaurant for dinner. It's so good that I think you should take a trip to Lewistown just to dine at Central Feed! Very highly recommended! read more

This is a great place to eat. The food is fresh and delicious, rivaling any Seattle area restaurant I've been to. It can be quite loud, because the bar and restaurant are not separated. The booths seem to be quieter, and there are two rooms looking out to Main Street that are separate from the bar if you are seeking a quieter area. Servers are friendly and attentive-there's never been even a slight indication of impatience with anyone there, and we've been there with a few large groups. Save room for dessert. It's all good!! read more

I love Central Feed Grilling!! The ambiance is terrific, it's clean open and airy, the staff are so kind and go out of their way to accommodate my food allergy, and their food is delicious! We stop through going from back and forth from western to eastern Montana and it's one of my favorite places in the state. The BBQ short rib nachos are the best!! And if you split them with a blooming tomato and quinoa salad it's even healthier . read more

Delicious food, honored my reservation request for a booth! The best waitress, Rena, was our congenial server! We will be back.

My husband's steak was delicious! Should be for $45.00! I was disappointed with my Ahi tuna. It was a little overcooked and not very flavorful. Strongest flavor was the black pepper. My husband got 2 small potatoes. Neither of us cared for the veggies. It's a rather noisy atmosphere. The metal chairs are not comfortable! read more

Service was great, the server was really nice. Food was good. Chicken sandwich is precooked. They didn't thaw chicken in cooler for at least 24hrs. Chicken sandwich was frozen in middle. Oldest son didn't care because he wasn't going to get sick. Wife didn't eat it. They gave us 50% off her dish because she ate the fries. Should have comped hers. read more

Awesome spot in an awesome town. Just passing through for the night but stopped in for a drink and some food. Had the side salad with balsamic and a crispy chicken sandwich with their honey sriracha on side. Both were fantastic but the sauces were king. Balsamic is thick and sweet with a nice tang and the honey sriracha is the perfect amount of sweet and spicy. Sandwich was good too but not necessarily anything special but still worthy of 5 stars. Service is awesome, bartenders are great and kind. Would come back without a doubt next time I happen to be in town. read more

We are unfamiliar with the area and saw this place as we were walking around Main Street and thought it looked good. I'm glad we stopped. We were hoping to eat outside but they weren't serving out there this evening, unfortunately, so we ended up taking our food to go. We got the pretzels and beer cheese dip appetizer, steak and frites, and quinoa salad. My steak was a perfect medium rare and absolutely delicious. I can also say the soft pretzel sticks with beer cheese are well worth ordering. The quinoa salad is also a good choice. Other than the fact that their outside seating wasn't open (probably because of a lack of staff), the only thing that could have been improved with the meal is that my fries were a bit soggy. read more

Fantastic food and beer. Pints are $6; food is very reasonably priced with many options in the $12-16 range. Service was friendly and helpful. Definitely where we'll stop in Lewistown. read more

The locals call this place "The Brewery". Really done well, nice open restaurant. Opened summer of 2018. Great service. Ordered the black and blue salad and it was really good. Friend ordered a ribeye steak with sweet potato fries and it was tasty and huge. Both I'd order again. Ordered the ahi appetizer and it was ok. Kind of to be expected frankly being this far inland. Went back tonight and ordered the steak and frites. Fries are bomb and they're served with garlic aioli. Steak is a sirloin so it was pretty tough. Probably wouldn't recommend that unless you enjoy sirloin. They have an extensive beer menu and hard cider too if you're gluten free. Overall I really enjoy this place and will be back next time I'm in town. read more

Nice clean, modern friendly place. The smallest salad I've EVER been served! Amazing! We sat out on the large, covered porch where the breeze was perfect. Beers are spectacular! I had a flight of interesting beers and my better half had an IPA. We split the fiesta salad, cheesy potato soup, 10oz filet, red potatoes and sautéd veggies. Food was cooked perfect and was one of the best meals we've had. Service is outstanding. Friendly staff all around. This was a destination spot for us on our cross country brew trip! We will be back to this happy little town! read more

We were in town for a sporting event and needed some place to eat my before heading back home. We were sent to this restaurant by some fellow players, and after checking the Yelp reviews we decided to give it a chance. We order the duck drumettes, which were delicious. My husband had a dark beer and said it was pretty good. We both ordered steaks, med rare. Mine came out rare (and that's being generous), my husbands was definitely blue rare. My steak was full of connective tissue and most of it I couldn't even chew. We laughed at the salad, because one of the earlier reviews said " I was served the smallest salad I've ever seen in my life" and they were 100% correct. Our daughter had a burger, it was passable, but nothing special. We are the kind of people who will drive three hours for a good steak, or a great restaurant. This place is ok, but nothing I would go out of my way to get to. Having said that, there were several people in the restaurant eating short rib nachos and they looked amazing. Four stars for this place is probably generous, but I'm not sure there's anything better in the area. read more
