We didn't have a whole lot of time, but could definitely spend a few hours in their and not play the same game twice! The place was clean and the machine to get the players card was easy to use. The credits needed to play the game ranged from 3-8 credits among the games we played and were a great price for the amount of time we got on them. The Spiderman coin machine one just kept going long after I thought we used enough tokens in the game! We didn't get to spend the tickets we earned this time around but the prizes looked like better quality prizes compared to the other places. We will definitely be coming back when we have more time!

I understand the overhead costs, repairs, and testing required to ensure products work, but most items are marked up at least 20% higher than other local game stores. I came in specifically looking to support local business by buying a PSP-3001, but they wanted $220 for just the console and charger. For comparison, I found a bundled PSP on eBay with preloaded games for $180. There are plenty of other retro game stores in the area with much fairer, more competitive pricing. Even standard retailers like GameStop offer better deals along with 1 to 2 year extended warranties. Great atmosphere, but the prices are hard to justify.

What really makes this place popular is their tournaments that are held almost every day! When I was there, they were holding a Magic tournament. At least that is what I think they were playing, but I don't have too much experience in that stuff. There were tons of people here though, both in front of the store as well as in the far back of the store. There were tons of tables set out with people in the tournament. There was so much that there was an over spillage of people into the tables the mall provides in the middle of the mall! The store seems kind of dark and old, like you're in some kind of basement. I think they need better lighting. The selection of board games was small, but they had popular ones like the Settlers of Catan, Seafareres of Catan, many different variety/themes of Munchkin, and even Monopoly! Yet apparently me and my friend were being followed by a manager of some sort on duty that came up to me, yanked my items from my hands and yelled "You think I didn't hear that threat you made about me?!" Which was quite off putting seeing as I've never seen her, acknowledged her or had any interaction with her in life. She demanded I leave at which point me and my friend kinda just laughed it off as we were instructed to leave my cart and exit the store. But we realized she had radioed the entire staff to surround us and harass us at the door. She then proceeded to follow us to our car and take pictures of our license plate. Needless to say because of this super weird interaction I'll probably never visit any hobby lobby again in my life. On Tuesday, October 6, 2026, around 12:00 p.m., I attempted to return an item I had received from my baby shower. The item was unused and still had its original product tags attached, but I did not have the receipt or the TJ Maxx price sticker. I was told at this location that I could not receive merchandise credit. After leaving, I contacted TJ Maxx Customer Service directly and was informed that, in this circumstance, the store could locate a comparable item and use that price to process the return as merchandise credit. I also contacted another TJ Maxx location in the surrounding area, and they confirmed the same process. I then called this store back simply to clarify the discrepancy. Rather than acknowledging the information I had received or attempting to resolve the issue, the manager repeatedly insisted that both Customer Service and the other TJ Maxx location were incorrect. What bothered me most was not even the return itself, but the way the situation was handled. The manager's demeanor both in the store and over the phone came across as dismissive, unfriendly, and unprofessional. There was very little effort to listen to the concern or communicate respectfully. I would strongly encourage additional management training around customer communication, professionalism, and conflict resolution. Store policies can understandably create frustrating situations, but the way management speaks to and handles customers makes a significant difference in the overall experience.
