At least that is what I think they were playing, but I don't have too much experience in that stuff. There were tons of people here though, both in front of the store as well as in the far back of the store. There were tons of tables set out with people in the tournament. There was so much that there was an over spillage of people into the tables the mall provides in the middle of the mall! The store seems kind of dark and old, like you're in some kind of basement. I think they need better lighting. The selection of board games was small, but they had popular ones like the Settlers of Catan, Seafareres of Catan, many different variety/themes of Munchkin, and even Monopoly! However the two ladies that manage the front are much like pit bosses. No smiles. No interactions, the cashiers to me don't feel happy to be there. I went to the the younger "pit boss" to ask a question today she didn't acknowledge me or smile merely looked to a young man she was chatting with and he took over on my question and did his best to guide me. We went to Target to use a $25 off $150 promotion while picking up Christmas gifts. The app showed…read morean Apple Pencil in stock, but it took multiple employees and a long search to locate it -- my wife eventually found it locked in a caged cart. Then we were told electronics items had to be rung up separately, but doing that meant we wouldn't qualify for the promotion. No manager responded to calls for help, so the employee rang everything together. The receipt showed no $25 discount, and several items didn't match the prices shown in the Target app. We were told Apple products didn't count toward the promotion, so we added more items to reach $150 without it. Then we were told we had to return and repurchase everything at customer service. After doing that -- still no discount, because Legos were also excluded in the fine print. We were also told the prices in the app were "online only," and we were expected to mention them before checkout. The employees were helpful, but Target's policies, systems, and fine-print exclusions made the entire experience feel like bait-and-switch. We spend thousands a year at Target, but after this frustrating trip we'll be shopping elsewhere.

To make matters worse, the first employee who dismissed me was actually a manager. It's disappointing to see such poor customer service. Starbucks 5 So far, I've had great experiences at every Starbucks I've visited, with super friendly, helpful, and nice staff. One location stands out from the rest, and I wish I could leave a tip, but I was told not to.
