We visited awhile ago, since I did buy their Grappa & Brandy in a store in Orcutt. Ironically we always happen to pass by on the way to the local Strawberry Farm and never noticed it before. The owners are marvelous and the interior is quite nice. Over time, I have enjoyed their product, but since I bought several local distillery products over time, and now drink little, it is all lasting quite awhile. I think one of the owners is of Portuguese origin and the other is Russian. Their products are made from the skins of left over local grapes, which makes it interesting indeed. It is surely fun to visit here, especially for locals. It is very near Spoontrade so it is a good place to consider stopping in before a big meal or maybe after an early lunch.

Another new stop for us…read more We had purchased the Summer Sippin' Passport ($20 for 20 tastings) and were in the club tasting room at Zaca (the only place out this way that I'm a member at) when and another couple mentioned heading out to pick up from their other club. Other club you say? Hmmmm, this piqued my interest. If I'm a member here, and they're members here and they're members somewhere else out here, we must have similar taste in wine... I quickly asked where they were headed and wanted to know more. They told us Kenneth Volk and mentioned all of the unique varieties. Only on this occasion, where we had already been down that way tasting and it was getting later in the day but with the opportunity to try so many new places on this passport, we gave it a go! We arrived at Kenneth Volk and right away my boyfriend spotted a familiar face from Rancho Sisquoc. That was lovely! I right away spotted the vegan cinnamon rolls :) We tasted several different wines and honestly, I enjoyed what we had and will return in the near future to taste again at a couple select places that were brand new to us this go around, but with a fresh palate. I'm happy we made it here and had a pleasant experience so we can get them into the rotation next time.

Jordan the owner was working and he made for an awesome fun experience. Also this man is a master of his craft and has officially made the first wine that stopped me in my tracks and made me exclaim "oooooh I really like that". The 2020 Vinfarm Cuvee was the first time I just instantly loved the mouth feel, the palate and finish of a wine. Not to knock any of the other wines the Syrah was delectable with slight hints of oak and beautiful sweet fruit notes. The tasting room is clean neat and comfortable. Plenty of seating and great ambiance. I was able to discuss wine and ask all of my uneducated questions. My experience is in bourbon and whiskey and Jordan engaged in conversation and was able to help me reach relationships between the two industries to make the approach to a wine tasting smooth and comfortable. Jordan has a knack for breaching the traditional at times blending his wines to please a modern and vintage palate. If you have not tried El Viñero I suggest you do now. Joining the wine club wasn't even a question we left the tasting room with a club membership and 5 bottles of wine and a super awesome candle. Seriously if you need a date night and or amazing wine come in. It's $10 for a full flight tasting and you will not be disappointed!!!

I have a very hard time believing this is the first time he has made a comment like this. It says a lot about a man to comment on a women's body in an inappropriate way, especially while with her kids. . My boyfriend's family have been coming here for years. We don't feel comfortable sending the kids or even any of girls over there anymore, and it shouldn't be like that. We believe this man should be fired.
