She had very good advice, and the end result was a divorce where I got my share of the house, and walked away with my head held high. I don't feel that Sarah lowered us to robbing my now ex blind. She was extremely respectful to my ex and his lawyer, but she supported me and what I wanted. It wasn't a knock-down fight. It was respectful. 9 Years Great Service!…read more On our original search for a lawyer 9 years ago, we wanted to make sure we found someone experienced, professional and that could handle our complex case. We met with 8 different lawyers in our search and Ms. Britnell was the first lawyer we spoke with, she was a little more expensive then we could afford at the time so we still needed to meet with others to compare as to who would be best suited for our needs. Jamia is an attorney who specializes in estate planning. Many people, including myself, seem to think estate planning is "optional." As a single parent in his late 40s (midlife crisis) during the COVID pandemic, I finally realized otherwise. Of course, I had no idea what documents I would need and how much it would cost. So, I sent a message from her website. Here things I like about her service: + Jamia responds to inquiries very quickly. I have almost always heard back from her on the same day. + We first spoke on the phone for a little bit. I had a consultation appointment the following week. Both of these were complimentary. + I found it very easy to talk to her and ask her questions. No matter what I do, I always have a lot of questions. She made me feel comfortable asking all my questions. + I spoke with a couple of friends who have worked with estate planning attorneys and learned that her fees are very reasonable. On top of it, she does it for a flat fee, which gives you big peace of mind when working with an attorney. I'm a linear thinker with an investigative personality! On top of it, I hate wasting things, particularly my hard earned money. That said, I usually do a LOT of research before making purchases small or big.
