Any trained groomer should know that whiskers are not cosmetic--they are vital sensory organs that help cats with balance, navigation, and emotional regulation. They should never be trimmed under any circumstance! I paid to have her professionally groomed so that this would not happen if I endeavored to do this at home. When I contacted the groomer about this, she was defensive and refused to take any responsibility. I had to take my cat to the vet due to the distress this caused her, and I politely asked the groomer to help cover the vet bill since this was clearly caused by her negligence. Instead of doing the right thing, she refused to reimburse anything and then told me not to contact her again. This is not just about a grooming mistake--it's about a lack of professionalism, accountability, and basic animal welfare knowledge. A business that handles animals should care about their well-being, but that was not my experience here. I would absolutely not trust this groomer with any animal. If you love your pet, take them somewhere safe. They deserve better.

I set up an appointment for 1pm. My husband went there at 1pm and she said regular grooming is $65 and the shampoo for the skunk is $100. My husband told her the price is way different. He called me and I heard her on the phone. She said that we were wasting her time and that she had better things to do. I told her that it says $5 extra on their website for skunk spray. So she was trying to charge an additional $35 for skunk. This is price gouging. She asked my husband to get my dog out of there because he smelled bad. She even walked away when my husband said he would be reporting them for lying.

I'm sorry, if my dog was in that much distress they should have called and had me pick him up to not force him to go through a so called "groom" just to make and extra $60 bucks. Unacceptable. I will be reporting them. You said he was nipping you so you put a muzzle on him. Yes, I said when my sister brushes his back side he nips at her. Yes, everything has changed for him, but not his groomer. What was news to me is him doing flips. Don't lie and say I wanted my dog in distress bc you know well enough I would never want my dog in that much distress. Instead, you muzzled him, didn't brush him and sent him home. You never explained his back side could not be brushed. It's happened more than once. The last time before this time when I brought them in, my female dog was super choppy, but I didn't complain. When I brought them in last week, I asked if anyone different groomed Lila and you guys stated no therefore, I said last time she was choppy if you can, please make sure they're not choppy. I was very worried about how he would react since he hasn't been to the groomer in such a long time, but Lori & Bianca treated him (and me ) with such kindness and patience. Despite his many snarls and tangles, they gave him a beautiful full cut, and he looks so much happier and comfortable now. I am very happy with the care and professionalism they showed. I have a beast of a dog (he's just very large, very fluffy, and very old so without a doubt, a challenge to properly groom). After a few abysmal experiences at other places, I found Doggie Style a couple of years ago and will never take him anywhere else. It's so evident that they love their jobs and the animals they work on and no one has ever done as good of a job with the kindness that this place does. She is a 17-year-old Himalayan, and I've taken her to the groomers that weren't able to get her to sit still long enough to trim her hair.
