I love this place. They always are very accommodating. They get my cat in the same day. I know I never have to worry when I bring her there.. she's an elderly cat and she has asthma. She's also like a child to me and treat her the way I would treat her. I also don't drive and was stuck there, and I was given a ride home by one of the people that worked there and it was way beyond generous they go above and beyond to make sure the customers happy and get home safe. Writing this and saying what I am about to say is not in my own best interest. If this review convinces anyone to try Diamond Pet Salon then I will have to compete with them for appointments! But, alas, I must endorse Diamond with a rare (for me) full 5 star review. I do love this place, but the real reviewer here is my Golden Retriever, Daisy. We searched for YEARS for a place Daisy would like. Until her first visit to Diamond, she would come home from a groomer and completely boycott the family for an entire day. After visits to other groomers, she would sequester herself in the laundry room or a bathroom and not come out until the next day--not to eat, not for treats, not for anything. From the first visit to Diamond and every time afterward, she is so happy she prances and shows off her haircut for days on end. She loves Diamond and therefore so do I. The staff--I cannot say enough good things about the staff! I have come to believe that everyone there truly loves their jobs, the pets they groom and even us human customers. Please feel free to completely ignore all of the above so that I don't have problems getting appointments on the future. You and your pet will be missing out on the best groomer in the area is all. read more

Great place. May not look like much from the outside, but what you get when you walk in is great, friendly care for their human and furry clients. I was super nervous about taking my 8 month old Australian Shepard groomed for the first time. We had my puppy get a Show dog cut (more natural look for Aussies). We were able to discuss the cut before hand and she took time to explain everything to me and answer all my questions. I left feeling that my puppy was in great hands and he was. Our dog chased down a skunk and we attempted the ole peroxide, baking soda and dawn rub down/wash. It helped a bit, but boy he was still radiating that smell. DO NOT BRING YOUR PETS HERE!!!! PROTECT YOUR PETS FROM THESE UNQUALIFIED PEOPLE AT ALL COSTS!!! THIS PLACE IS A FREAKING JOKE! I WISH I COULD RATE THEM ZERO STARS!! My story: I took my dog here a couple years ago when her usual groomer had no openings the week I needed to get her in. Her usual groomer always had her for 45 minutes-1 hour maximum to bathe her, clean her teeth, cut her nails, and blow dry her. I took her to Diamond Pet Salon one day at 10am, I called at 12pm, they said she was next in line. By 2pm they already had her for 4 hours, so I called to see if she was ready since I still had no call from them. They still hadn't bathed her or done anything with her. I immediately felt like something was wrong, got mad, and asked them why the hell she was sitting in a crate all those hours when they could have just called to tell me they were backed up and couldn't take her. I said 4 hours is absolutely ridiculous, you said she was next, and I want her ready by 2:30pm untouched. The lady started arguing with me and claimed they "let the dogs get acclimated to their salon and let them out of the crate every so often to socialize while they wait for their turn". None of which I was informed about at drop off, no one asked me if I was okay with her socializing or being locked up for hours. I told her I'm coming to get my dog and to have her ready for pick up, unbathed and untouched, in 10 minutes or we would have problems. She tried to argue with me again and tell me not to get my dog yet because it would "undo all of their progress with her" PROGRESS?? You're a groomer!!! She's supposed to get a bath and come home!!! I said no way lady, I'm on my way and I don't have time for this, I have somewhere to be at 3 so I'm getting her now and you better not touch her. When I got there to pick her up, they had SOME OTHER MALE DOG'S HARNESS AND LEASH ON HER. I said "why the hell did you take my dog's collar off when I said don't touch her, and WHERE is HER stuff I brought her in with?!?" Luckily they still had our harness and leash and had not given it to someone else to take home with their dog. I think they were getting ready to try and bathe her before I got there so I would have had to pay them. Before I walked out, I said "I will NEVER be coming back here, you guys are a joke, and I'll be sure to tell people to not bring their pets here. You guys have no business handling people's pets whatsoever!" Needless to say, I did not pay them anything and never ever went back. Now come to find out, July 25, 2024, an acquaintance of mine took her dog her. They had him for 4 hours, they closed at 8pm and she still had no call about her dog at 7:45pm. She called to check in, they said he was next, and she regrets letting them groom him anyway. THEY CUT HER DOG'S STOMACH, GLUED THE CUT WITHOUT ANY WARNING GIVEN TO THE OWNER AND DID NOT GET CONSENT TO DO THIS FROM THE DOG'S OWNER. They tried to tell her there was an "issue", but that a trip to the vet was not necessary. When she saw the cut and their awful glued attempt to fix it, she was furious and took her dog to the vet immediately. He had to be put under anesthesia, get the glue cleaned out of the wound, and get stitches put in. $1,000 vet bill that the groomer ended up paying for afterwards. They did not want her to take him to the vet, so they wouldn't have to pay any vet bill, but she was not going to let her dog go without this deep cut on his stomach being looked at. DIAMOND PET SALON F*CKING SUCKS AND NEEDS TO BE OUT OF BUSINESS. PROTECT YOUR PETS FROM THEM. read more

Diamond pet salon treats pets like family. They love their furry clients and it shows! These ladies have been working in grooming for 15+ years. Many salons in the area don't do cat grooming however Diamond salon does! My princess was handled with care & the girls ensured me she would be well taken care of. It was her first groomer experience but she was given lots of love, a hair bow, and mouse toy! The staff was very loving & it truly showed when I picked her up she was not in a panic but seemed very comfortable! Prices are good & they do walk in nails as well! DO NOT BRING YOUR ANIMALS HERE! They do a great job on the haircut. The last 2 times I have taken my animals there (1 Dog 2 Cats) it has taken them 7 and 9 hours to finish with no communication. She said both times my cat peed on himself of course they were caged for the whole day. This last time when we got home my dog drank her whole bowl of water and ran outside to poop in the rain. At first this place was great. However, the owner is understaffed and overbooked. My dog's last appointment took 7 hours and when I called to enquire as to why this was the owner was extremely rude on the phone. Neither employee had the integrity to apologize and it appears that untrained individuals are working on people's pets! The nails have been forgotten 3 times now and when I called the first time they had me come in and I had to pay again. Then I started checking before we left and again same thing. I started taking my 12 year old cairn terrier Zoey to Diamond Pet Salon for over a year. I have tried other groomers over the years and finally found one that we both love. The staff is friendly and does a great job grooming. Recently, Courtnie (Zoey's groomer) noticed while she was with Zoey that something was wrong. When I returned to pick up Zoey, she told me she thinks Zoey has a blocked anal gland. She recommended I call Zoey's vet. I had no idea how serious this was. The very next day Zoey was in surgery! This was my first experience going here cause my old dog groomer was getting sloppy. I read the few reviews and was satisfied that they could do a good job. This was not the case, I have a Shihpoo and he gets tangles. I told the lady that winter was coming and that I did not want him cut to short...well she calls me and says I'm going to have to give him a summer cut cause of the tangles. I accepted that and appreciate the fact she called before she butchered my dog. She shaved him so close, he has razor burns on his belly and a big nick under his armpit that is now scabbed over!! He has never been shaven that short ever, (even in the summer)!! I truly feel she did not want to deal with him, and just found the lazy way out of it!! I will NEVER give them my business again!!
