Jason is the guy to talk to. He will help you with any automotive problems. Last time I was in, Jason pointed out how worn my tires were. Went for a simple oil change, informed me my coolant was empty and was interrupted with "pressure test is $150" when I asked what they think the cause could be. Went on my way, puddle of oil under my car 2 hours later so I brought it back and was told "defective oil filter". Worked at a quick lube place years and years ago and never once had a "defective oil filter". Now, 1 month and less than 200 miles after the first leak, the oil is leaking from the filter again.. I climbed under the car and the filter was hardly on there. Service writers had no interest in giving me the time of day, would suggest taking your car elsewhere. Thanks. read more

A 400 dollar alternator replacement turned into a 1000 replacement. They have an attitude to throw parts at it till it's fixed. Don't be surprised if the owner gives you a song and dance when your bill is 3 times larger than your estimated repair costs. read more

It's always great to work with Dave, the owner. I have reservations working with a certain service writer. He does a lot of double talk and lies when you get a verbal estimate and go in to pay. He way over charges on parts. We won't be going back there! We enjoyed working with Dave, but always feel this other service writer has a different agenda. He's a very passive aggressive person. read more

If you enjoy paying over 2x as much as they pay for the identical parts, then this is the shop for you! They wanted $224.63 for one strut, part 172117, when the identical part bought wholesale costs $119.89. They wanted $80 for one pair of brake pads. And $140 for one pair of rotors. I'd rather go to Fleet Farm and spend $60 for both a pair of pads AND rotors (still very quality parts, ceramic pads) and pay $120 for the labor rather than $180. These guys do not charge fair at all, especially on their parts, and the crap cherry on top is the terrible attitude from their main customer service man behind the counter, Aziz Ansari. They just moved into a new building and they're trying to pay it off by ripping you off. Don't go. Unless you're in the mood for a good laugh at their insanely up-charged quotes. It does make for good chat with other autoworkers, what ridiculously expensive quotes these guys will give you. They can take their $450 pair of struts and their $80 pair of brake pads and shove it. read more

I paid them to do my brakes and they forgot a part on my driver side after I did it myself I found that it was missing I went back told them they didn't care if I'm going to pay you to do something you're going to do it right! This is a small low performance shop 1 star. You're better off going somewhere else. then you'll know it's done correctly read more

This business does absolutely horrible work. I have used them many times and more than often I have had to bring the truck back in to fix work not completed well. The last job completed the mechanics forgot to install one of two bolts that fasten the brake assembly. The other left loose and it came apart and locked up my front wheel. Fortunately not on the highway. Their little receptionist guy brushed it off on the phone and finally said bring the truck in. I brought the invoice for the service to get the truck going again after missing two days of work. He was argumentative and insulting which is not uncommon for this guy. He said the owner would call me to resolved the dispute. No return call. Unfortunately there are a couple of good guys working back in the shop who have to work behind this kind of attitude. Fortunately my wheel did not come off my truck at 70mph on the highway with my 10 year old in the truck the night before it came apart. It was very obvious that the truck was not test driven as there was noise in the front end when I had to leave for a work trip. When the assembly came apart it was obviously missing one bolt and the other was found 30 yards from where the wheel locked up when the brake assembly wedged itself between the wheel and mount. Careless, wreckless and rude. A bad combination. read more

I dropped my Altima off early AM to have Central Automotive take a look at it because it was going through oil (a couple of quarts in 4 weeks). They got back to us by 11:00 and shared that there were a whole lot of issues with the converter and the engine (only 75,000 miles on the car and only 6 years old, so it's a little early to have these kind of issues.) They suggested we bring it to the dealer rather than repairing through them to see if the dealer would do something for us given the situation. When I went to pick the car up they didn't charge me for the diagnostic. They were honest, helpful and sympathetic. I was pleased they didn't charge for the diagnostic - it helped soften the blow of the rest of the news. Thanks for the neighborly service! read more

Took my Tacoma to them for an exhaust system problem. I was expecting to pay a lot. The price ended up being very reasonable. When they gave me my estimate for the exhaust system they suggested a tune up because it had been a long time and my truck has 170K miles. I gladly accepted their advice. When they got done with my truck it was running and sounding great! They were friendly, professional and efficient. Very reasonable prices and everything was done at or below estimate and all within 24 hours even though I said I was not in a hurry. I was very impressed and pleased.
