Our regular garage was booked three weeks out, so I started asking around for some place that could see us earlier. I finally called Auto Repair Service, and they had me in the next day. It was the whole shebang for all four wheels, but they did it quickly and charged me a fair price. And they were happy to describe everything they did in detail, which I like in a garage. It means they're still enjoying themselves. Love my regular garage, but these guys are my new backup.

I towed the truck because it was half apart (no turbo, HPOP, intake). This was on a Sunday evening if I recall correctly. A few days had past so I gave them a call. They had then told me that one of their techs or some other person on their payroll attempted to start the truck...getting oil all over their lot and all over everything in my engine bay (this had all happened days prior to them calling me). I undrrstand I should have advised better on the vehicles condition, but to not contact me for days about it is ridiculous. They then went on to tell me they can't diagnose a HPO leak without putting the entire truck back together (Untrue). So later on after no hard feelings I towed my truck away ( they diagnosed a blown headgasket without doing any labor to diagnose- 375$ later) They then went on to say they would help advise me in the right direction to fix my issues (they did not answer any messages after i left with my truck). At the time I had zero knowledge of diesels but after installing a BP donor motor (cab on) I can most definitely say these guys tried to take advantage of me and succeeded (issue was a contaminated oil cooler and bad branch tube gaskets) i have now been doing all work on the truck myself and plan to do so in the future. So, thank you Cutting Edge Diesel!

There was one very minor hiccup that was easily remedied. I have two sets of wheels, one for winter and one for summer. I left the winter wheels and they called me when the new tires were ready. I was told I could call back the day I wanted to swap them on my car since it would only take 15 minutes to accomplish. When I called in the morning to see if I could come in that afternoon, I was told I had to make an appointment, which would be a week later at the earliest. If I had been told this in the first place, I would have just made the appointment at that time. Nonetheless, they called me back and said they could squeeze me in that same day. Very minor and not concerning. Everyone was incredibly helpful and the service and pricing were amazing. I'll be back for sure.

WHAT HAPPENED: I blew out a run flat on an AWD vehicle in the evening not long before closing time. I called several large chains who specialize in tires closer to my flat location who all told me crazy things from "they didn't have the equipment to take my tire off and they'd have to cut it off and replace it with a regular tire" to "I could play for a regular set of tires then but a set of run flats when they ordered some" (aka pay for two sets of tires). HOW THEY HELPED: I called North Oaks Auto Service at the urging of a friend. Josh assured me they could handle my tire no problem and waited for me to arrive despite the fact he was getting ready to close. While they didn't have 4 tires that would fit my car they were able to get 4 tires in first thing the next morning and have me on my way by 10am! Amazing service and customer service. Competitive price. Super friendly team. Would completely trust them with my car again.
