The campus in Coolidge is beautiful! We went for a volleyball tournament and was so impressed with the grounds and how nice it was.

This will be our 3rd year as a family at the Co-op and I can't recommend it more for not only your…read morekiddo, but also the community that comes with it. It is so nice to get together with like-minded parents that just want a place where their kids can play and explore. You yourself get a chance to be in the classroom and help out, play and see all of your kids' friends interact. Soon you will be getting your feet in the sand yard, going to parent meetings where the teachers will give you tips on how to calm your child during a meltdown, and you will talk to other parents and see that you're not alone. Some examples of community that I can think of during our time are the parent meetings, potluck events, a camping trip, and events at school where everyone is welcome for Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. When we had our second child, and EECP knew we were finally home, we got a few gifts delivered for our new baby, but also a couple of big brother gifts and books from the school. When I'm at work and I get some photos sent to our parent group message board of what the kids are doing that day, it makes you wish you were at school that day instead of sitting behind a desk. Those are the times I know that we got lucky to find the EECP and other involved parents and teachers. One other thing I remembered that I enjoy is the stuff that our kiddo brings home. It is not just paintings that will soon be on your fridge or decorated shoe boxes, but also stories and music. Our 3-year-old would come home from school and teach me about Mardi Gras. He insisted on Mardi Gras songs being played in our home. He enjoyed dancing and marching and was explaining how parades worked, as if I had no idea what one was. It was so much fun to finally go to school and see all the kids parade around in fun costumes and carry around little decorated shoe boxes they made in class. This is just one of the events that we've loved as a family and now as a community.

This testing facility was great. I went to the Casa Grande Prometric Test Center today for my MCAT…read moreand not only was the staff extremely friendly and efficient, but there were very few people who were alongside of me taking the exam. The latter, I believe, is extremely helpful in a test taking environment. The testing center also houses exams for insurance licensing, real estate licensing, and the boards for dentistry. I am sure they administer more, but of the total 7 people that were in and out of the facility during my exam, those are the three that various people were taking. 3 of the 7 people were taking the MCAT with me. The plaza where the testing center is found is beautiful and there are many places to eat close by for a quick, light meal before an exam, or a nice heavy meal to celebrate after. I had to drive from Tucson to go to this facility and am glad that I did. I highly, highly recommend that if you take one of these administered exams, you drive a little out of your way to Casa Grande for the best test taking environment you can ask for.

Listen, this is a hidden little gem in the test-taking world. Everyone knows how stressful and…read morecrazy standardized testing can be, and it only gets crazier when more people are piled in the room like sardines. I took my MCAT here in 2010, and was one of 3 people in the room testing at that time....the room was empty! Three people meant less distraction from others moving, getting up/getting down, going in/going out of the room, getting set up, etc. There was absolutely no hassle re-checking in after breaks, no lines, nothing. It really lessened the stress of the whole ordeal! (I've taken exams at centers where there were three or four people waiting to check back into the room during breaks...and when time is limited...*Nail biting!*) There are hotels all around if you wish to spend the night before hand, and all kinds of great restaurants to get yo' eat on afterwards. I will gladly make the journey from Tucson to take my exams here in the future!
