If they can schedule training time then they can schedule something to do in the down time. Both my brother and I were here under RSL and it seemed more organized and planned. I understand the COVID issues but this is an easy fix. Not sure I'll bother coming back for a second visit this year. Disappointing.

Food was not great, and got old very quickly after a few months. There was nothing around to do because of how secluded it was. I would sit for hours and have many incredibly boring hours of free time even during the school year. The training itself was decent, but nothing you can't get from a local competitive club team. The tryouts were very selective, considering that most of the teams were already selected before the first round of tryouts even arrived. It was very unorganized in that manner. The education is online mainly and you usually finish classes early making it even more boring. I have had friends who had left after a year because it was so boring when no school or trainer IMG was going on. Another thing that disappointed me was that they never would openly share anything about the tuition of the academy, which was around 30000 before the affiliation with FC Barcelona when the tuition shot up. We didn't even get to keep the shirts from the tryouts. The "evaluation" at the end of the tryouts was very general and not helpful at all, as anything the coach said could have been generalized to any player. They didn't even have trainers on the field for a majority of the tryout. Overall, I would not recommend spending the money to send your kid to the Grande Sports Academy. Not worth it.

He is being harassed and racially profiled on a daily basis this is a new environment for the both of us and I hurt so bad watching him hurt and feel so unwelcome because of his skin color and freedom of speech. He was suspended today for threatening the principal!!! I was in shock and asked what in the world did he possibly do or say, they replied "He asked Why am I being picked on everyday " what makes this a threat?! This is awful and cruel my son deserves his education just like every other child!

Palo Verde, I'm sad to read such a negative review about…read morethis school. I have had 7 children attending this school and I CANNOT think of a single negative thing to say. This is a great school from kindergarten to 5th grade, principle, teacher on assignment, the teachers, even the support staff and front desk. If there are issues, they work WITH the parent to address it and I am very grateful for this school and everyone in it. Inside I only saw the main office which was also very well maintained. The front office person I spoke with was very helpful in getting information for me as far as which location would be best for us to attend. She informed me that due to our residence another school would be closer and gave me directions to that location.
