I had gone here after a friend told me about it. Kind of wish I didn't take my truck in. The issue was my truck would not start after I attempted to put in a TS performance chip, and it would not start with the chip in or with the chip out afterwards. I sent the chip and PCM to Full force diesel and they told me both the chip and the PCM were good and sent back to me. I tried installing and starting the truck again and again a no go. This is when I had the truck dropped off at Centex since I was going on vacation and going to be gone for 10 days. I was in no rush to get the truck back and just wanted it running right when I got back, those were my exact words. I also left them everything full force diesel had given me as results to check of the chip and PCM. They called me up during vacation and said that it just needed two batteries. I said go ahead and change them out and see you in a couple days, I was excited to get the truck back. I finally get back to the shop and this is when things got a bit sideways. I get a bill for $910 and pay it. I guess it took them 4-5 hrs. to change out batteries, perform a diagnostic and slide a chip in which I had already installed the knob, but OK I got my truck back. I start the truck and the idle is loping really bad, I shut it off and it won't start again. The person who worked on my truck then gets it started, lopes again but idle goes to normal after a bit of gas was given. He proceeds to tell me "This is normal in these 7.3" and I replied, my truck has never done that. "It may be the chip" I am like OK since I had a meeting to go to, drive out and the truck is running like shit and have to run it at the setting off additional 100 horsepower for it run OK. I then get a check engine light. I try to pull the chip and the truck won't start, now I am really stumped. I proceed to reach out to the office and try to get an appointment, after 2 tries and failing to get a call back I decide to stop in. I finally am able to get an appointment. I bring the truck back in and they pull the chip and get it started and the truck is running smooth and no more check engine light. After all that they then try to charge me another $145 for 20 minutes of work and to tell me that they think the PCM has been tuned and that is why the chip probably isn't working as it should. Obviously, I am a bit pissed they didn't figure this out prior to spending over a $1000 for basically two batteries and call it 6 hours of labor. Nice enough guys at the front desk but I am question thoroughness and ethics. I won't be able to bring them my business for future work or recommend them read more
