Photography was first on our vendor list after setting a date at OSP, especially since the list seemed like a limited one - I was a little unsure about having just a few photographers to choose from, but I need not have worried one bit; there was no need to look any further! Our first meeting was with Nick Gerber, who was our primary photographer. He is such a great photographer!! You can tell he really enjoys what he does, and he's damn good at it too--if you check out his IG @realnickgerber, you'll see what I mean. He was so fun to work with throughout the whole process...engagement photos, wedding day, all the correspondence in between. Frank teamed up with him on the wedding, and he was great and fun to be around as well. They had a wonderful way about them, and I think that sets a tone for getting really great shots. Speaking of the pictures...they are amazing! We did wait a few weeks longer than expected, but not entirely a surprise coming off peak wedding season. The photos were so worth the wait! There are some vendors you may actually miss after the big day just because you enjoy their company that much...Nick is definitely in that category. Thankfully, we still have a wedding album meeting to get in the books!

Not only can he set up a perfect shot, but he has a way of capturing a candid moment like no one else. And despite having captured every pivotal moment, it somehow seemed as if he wasn't even there most of the time. I highly recommend him and would definitely hire him again.

To start with it was raining in the morning and we had planned on taking photos outside before the ceremony, not only did he bring a lovely background for us to take pictures in front of, but when it stopped raining he still made sure we got our photos outside! He was also wonderful with the children (2-8 years) we had in our wedding party. It is always hard getting nice pictures of little ones, but Stephen made it seem effortless, and trust me some of our kids in the party were very difficult to work with that day! I had also given him a very long list of photos and requests that I had and he accommodated every single one, while giving me better ideas that had inspired him. It was truly the best of both worlds! He told the story of our day, balancing out perfectly the staged "formal" photos -that are necessary at a wedding - while giving us glimpses into the day that were more organic and so well done! I highly recommend Narens Photography, for your wedding day and beyond!

She made us feel comfortable and confident throughout the whole process! From the first interactions we had via exchanging emails and our hour plus intro call, right through to our wedding day and beyond, Alysia's kindness, professionalism and generosity made her the perfect person for capturing our wedding! Alysia's willingness to customize a package to suit our needs perfectly was greatly appreciated, and she went above and beyond to ensure every detail was taken care of, from photography to assisting with hair and makeup emergencies! I'm especially grateful for the extra touches, like the "mini" engagement photo session and even capturing Damsey's 14th birthday shoot (yes, our dog!). Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for creating such beautiful memories that we'll cherish forever! We couldn't be more grateful for your incredible work! Also, Elena and Eddie were great too and crazy fast turnaround for my photo and video sneak peaks, all my photos and the usb of all video coverage!!

If I had a nickel for every compliment I have received on our engagement photos or our wedding sneak peek photos (which she got to us in just a few days!), I feel like I'd come close to covering the cost of our wedding. In addition to complimenting our photos, our friends and family also complimented the photography/videography team for their respectful approach in capturing the day without barking out orders and directions as I'm sure everyone has witnessed at one wedding or another. Throughout the planning process, Alysia was always available via text, phone call, or email answering questions and offering expert recommendations, providing me reassurance that we were in good hands for the big day. We loved Alysia's guidance throughout the process, her respectful command of our group day-of, and her comfortable direction of us during our (free) engagement shoot and wedding day, not to mention the beautifully edited photos! Alysia met all of our expectations and more and we would recommend her to all of our family and friends. We might have to throw another wedding just to have her capture it again!

From the beginning, Bryan has been great about getting back to us with information and working with us on logistics. Since my husband and I know nothing about wedding timing, he was awesome about helping us build our timeline to make sure everything went smoothly. We got married in the suburbs and I wasn't thrilled about taking photos there but Bryan made sure to choose some great places to shoot that turned out much better than I expected. We chose to do our engagement session after the wedding so we still have another chance to capture some amazing photos. We can't wait to see what Bryan will do next time!

My co-worker had recently gotten married around the time I was looking for a videographer and she showed me the work that Kevin had done for her. I was instantly amazed and wanted his info ASAP! Kevin was easy to communicate with prior to the wedding and was quick to answer any and all of our questions. The day of the wedding he was by far one of the best vendors to work with. Honestly, I didn't have to worry about him at all! He was on time, came prepared and made the whole day a breeze. Within a week of our wedding Kevin had sent to us our 4 minute trailer video. My family, friends, co-workers and even strangers that we showed it to cried their eyes out! My one friend said it was like I had my very own country music video! The trailer as well as the entire wedding video was beautifully done. Kevin is extremely talented and someone I would love to work with again. Brenda just put me at such ease every time we talked, the last time I saw her was dropping off the pictures for the wedding dvd and she hugged me and wished me luck! I'm sad I won't need to work with them anymore. Both our parents used Edward fox over 30 years ago so we felt safe with a company that has a good reputation. We felt the pricing was fair and we took advantage of bridal show discounts and promotions they emailed. Our photographer deserves his own review on yelp but since he doesn't have a private company I've written them on wedding wire, facebook etc. for David Loeb. I've never worked with a better photographer and hope to use him again in the future. With our great experience at Edward Fox three other friends of mine have booked them for their wedding photographers as well.

The biggest issue I have is that I was not directed or helped enough with telling Todd what kind of…read morephotos I wanted. He asked all the questions and I gave him my answers, but that was it. This backfired on me badly. This is my first time getting married, how am I suppose to know what to say besides answering the questions you ask me?? There was no list to given to me to choose from different ideas on what other couples normally do. Todd really had a strong personality which some of my bridesmaids and family members could not handle. He should be aware when making jokes how to read people's reactions. There were so many photos missing of people and awkward photos that were put into our online album, for example: -my moms hair piece (she was very upset about this) -very limited pictures of the men getting ready compared to mine -about 60+ photos of my face that were close up (unnecessary) -Reception: only 17 out of 130 guests photographed!! So upset about this. -Dancing: only 45 pictures of people (which a lot of people were in multiple photos/repeat shots). Todd was there for at least an hour of dancing, I am not sure how it's possible to get that few. -Cocktail hour: only 57 photos with 16 of people -Ceremony: only 4-5 guests were photographed -Band: we had an awesome band and there were hardly any photos of the band as a whole -No picture of all of us at the head table Overall the outdoor pictures of Rob and I with family members turned out beautiful. However, I am very sad that more of our guests did not make it into the pictures. As you can see from the stats there were probably only 20-30 different people photographed. Very disappointed. What did we get from all of this? A "it was in your contract" and a photo album. Not pleased with this company.

I'm so glad that I chose Andrew because he got me everything I wanted for our proposal moment and more. After contacting him, he was prompt and attentive with all our different forms of communication. I wanted the proposal and pictures to be a surprise so once we decided on a date, I told Andrew to follow us around paparazzi style until I popped the question. He did a great job staying out of view because by the time I proposed, my fiancée had no idea he was there until I pointed him out. After the proposal, we went outside to take formal shots in inclement weather. It was snowing/ freezing raining outside when we went to take our outdoor photos. Even though it was cold and wet, Andrew made multiple trips to his car and back to get the right equipment for our shoot and somehow managed to maintain an infectiously positive attitude. After that, we continued around the aquarium while Andrew took candid shots of us. All the pictures turned out fantastic. Andrew uploaded all of our photos onto his website with a personal password for us for our own private viewing. Shortly after showing all the photos to us, he mailed a copy of all the photos to me on a usb. Andrew was phenomenal to work with and was professional throughout. To make things even better, he was more affordable than every other photographer that I reached out to. I would definitely recommend Andrew for any of your photography needs.
