She genuine, really outgoing and fun with my son and always has fun games and activities prepared for him to do as soon as he comes in. My toddler also came for a short time too (he graduated) and thought it was so much fun. Most importantly, my son's speech is so much better now:) highly recommend!

This conversation was much smoother and my anxieties were calmed by the investigator. The state DID substantiate my concerns and complaints. I again encourage anyone on the fence about whether or not to speak up, just do it. If no one knows about an issue, how can anything change for the better? I may never truly know if any of the issues were fixed but the once bitter taste in my mouth is slowly going away. **It's a nice facility that has some bigger issues that need to be addressed. Considering the hospitals they are loosely affiliated with I expect Crystal Cove to do better.** The type of care a patient receives will always reflect on the facility regardless of why they are there. Short term care or long term care should be treated the same.

I called all over southern California (L.A. , O.C. , I.E.) from the very first inquiry smita was kind, polite and very caring and reasonably priced. She didn't turn my insurance away like the other facilities did and in fact, she made sure that she'd find a way and she did. That's exactly what I was looking for in a therapist especially during recovery from an injury that caused Duputryns syndrome. She is very patient, calm, diligent and understanding although I was very doubtful at first that I will be able to heal. Smita reassured me and sure enough, she got me twice the outcome the doctor said I would be able to achieve! Over the course of a few months, I found myself going from constant pain and the inability to use my left hand to where I was back in the golf course a few months later. I paid for a physical therapist, but instead I got an unlicensed student…read more I am a longtime suffer of foot pain, and I attempted to continue physical therapy at California Therapy Solutions (CTS). I was assigned a student who, while knowledgeable, was inexperienced in a clinical setting. This was disappointing, but the student was enthusiastic and appeared to have a good understanding of my condition. After 2 visits, I had regressed quite a lot due to overloading a muscle group. I think the initial assessment of my strength and muscle stamina was incorrect and the student didn't modify my exercises appropriately. This resulted in severe cramping and muscle stiffness and has caused other conditions I have to flare-up. I am worse off now than when I started. I do not blame the student for my bad experience, but I do blame CTS for their poor therapy/training structure. The licensed physical therapist, named Bill, who was in the office, did not supervise the student. Bill did not assess me or observe the student while he was assessing me. Bill did not observe us while I was receiving instruction and performing exercises. I believe it is inappropriate for a student to be given full authority over patient assessment and treatment before they are a licensed professional. If you don't want a student treating you without supervision, I suggest you go to a different location. I canceled my future appointments and I will look for a different physical therapist after my flair-up calms down.

I was scheduled for more visits than my insurance coverage allowed, and I was later told that I was fully responsible for the additional fees. While I understand that patients are responsible for knowing their insurance benefits, I also expect a basic level of communication and customer service from a medical office. A clinic should have a system to track the number of authorized visits and alert patients when they are approaching or exceeding their coverage limits. Instead, I was left feeling like the responsibility was shifted entirely onto me for an issue that could have been prevented with better internal tracking and communication. It is frustrating to receive good clinical care but have such a disappointing experience with the administrative side.

That level of attentiveness meant so much. Dr. Phillip (I think his name) was also wonderful. He didn't treat me like just another number in line. He actually listened, was personable, and made me feel heard during a time when I was already stressed and uncomfortable. Ramon, who took my X-rays, was just as kind and professional. He made the process feel comfortable, chatted to ease the tension, and even gave me helpful pointers about boot options and navigating insurance. That kind of care makes a big difference. What really stood out to me is that every single person I interacted with was personable and compassionate. Urgent cares can often feel overwhelming, crowded, or impersonal but this place felt organized, clean, and calm. People are quick to write bad reviews, but not always quick to acknowledge good service. The people here truly made my experience better during a hard and frustrating time. This review is limited specifically to our experience with Beth, PT. Unfortunately, she was the worst therapist we have ever trusted with our child. Instead of physically engaging with him and focusing on the purpose of the session, she spent much of the appointment providing unsolicited, pessimistic medical opinions that she is unqualified to provide (and more importantly without compassion). These comments were made in front of our child, who can understand more than people may realize. We found this deeply inappropriate, discouraging, and outside the proper scope of a physical therapy session. Very little meaningful physical therapy took place because so much of the session was devoted to negative and medically unsupported commentary. We were shocked by the lack of hands-on engagement, professionalism, and sensitivity shown toward a young child and his family. In contrast, we are very happy with Caitlin, PT. She physically engages our child throughout the session, treats him with kindness and compassion, and helps him work toward improvement with positive energy and encouragement. We appreciate her professionalism and therapeutic approach. We were hesitant to leave this review, but we believe it is important to share our experience so that management addresses the issue and other families do not go through something similar.
