I happened to find Blueberry Pharmacy on a random "shout out great local businesses" thread on…read moreReddit, right when I was growing increasingly frustrated with having to pay $400-$500 for an inhaler my dog needs for chronic bronchitis. The pharmacist/owner, Kyle, is doing something truly groundbreaking by providing access to medications at a lower cost without the need for insurance. He sees that the state of the pharmaceutical/insurance/healthcare industries is not doing any favors for the person they are all theoretically supposed to serve, the patient, and is on a mission to help the consumer by negotiating directly with suppliers. My dog has had major GI problems when we've tried a generic version of his medication. When I spoke with Kyle about this, he explained to me that what I would be getting through him is called an authorized generic. A company called Prasco, a leader in the authorized generic space, produces our exact same medication with the manufacturer's blessing but it comes to us under their label instead of GSK. Everything about the medication is otherwise the same. He was so knowledgeable that I took it on faith that this medication would be the same as the $500 brand name and told him my dog would let me know if it wasn't. That was a few months ago and we are now ordering our second inhaler through Blueberry, so suffice to say it is working out and we are thankful. We pay about $260 instead of $400-$500; I'll take it. Thanks to Kyle and his equally lovely staff. I admire and appreciate what you are doing here.

The service was smooth, communication was clear and genuine. They shipped my order immediately. I made a mistake with my address (we just moved here and our new house number is so confusing, too many ones and sevens :) They were so nice about my mistake and solved the issue immediately! One of the best experiences I have had online, not just pharmacy (not to mention my first online pharmacy order) :) BTW, they are authorized to ship to only few states as of October 2025. PA, WV, NJ, DE, OH, and FL

Adzema Pharmacy is a local, independent drugstore that was opened by the Adzema family in 1959…read more Their pharmacy fills patients' prescription medications and administers vaccines (e.g., influenza and COVID-19 with no appointments needed). Their retail store sells over-the-counter medications as well as health and hygiene products, lottery tickets, etcetera. Their lunch counter serves breakfast and lunch foods (please see my attached photos for the menu). On a Saturday morning, my husband and I visited Adzema Pharmacy to eat breakfast. We walked through the front door, and a cashier greeted us. We did not initially see the lunch counter, so we asked the cashier, and they told us to turn left and walk to the back. The lunch counter looked as if it had not been remodeled in decades. We saw a couple rows of long tables as well as some smaller round tables with chairs, and we sat down at a table of our choosing. Several minutes later, a waitress gave us menus. After another several minutes, the waitress took our order for beverages and foods. We waited and waited for our food to be brought out... The waitress did not bring out our food until 42 minutes after we had arrived! Other customers who had arrived well after we did had already finished eating their food! The food looked simple but was just what my husband and I wanted. My two pancakes were a large size and had butter and syrup on the side (4 stars). My home fries contained some onions and were cooked well (4.5 stars). My side of fruit contained mostly cantaloupe that seemed to have been cut much earlier (3 stars). My husband's ham-cheese omelette tasted "fine" according to him (4 stars). His bacon was crispy and tasty (4.5 stars). His bagel was served with flavorful cream cheese (4 stars). His toast was toasted well (3 stars). After I finished eating my meal, I quickly walked through the store to look at their merchandise. An employee at the pharmacy kindly asked me if I needed any assistance. The store shelves showed products such as holiday decorations, wound-care products, hygiene products, walkers and canes, diapers and briefs, greeting cards, snack foods, etcetera. I thought that the prices were higher than what Target charges but were typical for a drugstore. My husband and I paid for our breakfast meal at the cash register in the store. I also purchased two chocolates. The cashier courteously told us to have a great day.

Every employee i have spoke to has been extremely kind and helpful (with one exception..) I have been picking up my prescriptions from Adzema for roughly 6 months now. Unfortunately I (along with another family member) have been shorted on multiple prescriptions. The first time I was thinking I must have misplaced, or that it was my fault somehow some way. It was not until I got my next month's refill(in a larger pill bottle, in which I counted the correct amount), to then pour the capsules into the previous month's smaller bottle to see that 20-30 capsules would not fit in.. I did not reach out to the pharmacy then, but I recorded a video of the capsules not fitting incase it were to occur again in the future.. Fast forward a couple months later, I was yet again shorted on my prescription.. I went into speak with a pharmacist regarding the issue. I calmly explained the issue in detail, and showed him the video proof of being shorted in the past. I expected him to take accountability and apologize , but instead I was met with attitude and questioning. It was extremely unprofessional and uncalled for. I would not recommended Adzema Pharmacy.

This is the phone robot of a retail store, not my credit card company. In fact, even if you do enter the information, you do not get to speak to anyone. You have to leave a message? So I left a message asking if my UPMC insurance works for their pharmacy and how much it would be without insurance if they don't "before I drive all the way to this location." (It was the holiday and so many pharmacies have to be open in so much of a radius, so my normal spots were not open.) I got a call an hour later (that went straight to voicemail somehow). All the message said was "yes, we're open until 6 p.m." Yes, what? I never even asked what time they were open? What kind of response is this? It didn't answer my questions. Guess what? Not only does UPMC NOT work at CVS, but no one told me they had a lunch break. So I drive 20 minutes sick and end up having to wait 15 minutes in the store. All they had to say for their message was "the clerk must not have known." Wow. What kind of healthcare is this? Good grief. I will never go to a CVS, even if it's the last drug store on Earth. Holiday or not, these are people we are trusting with our lives. Scary.

Paper bags at each kiosk are helpful too. Plus, their front automatic doors have been out of service for a while now. This CVS is falling apart. Finally, they need to restock on a lot of items inside. The only positive is the parking lot. If one side is full, you can parallel park on the other side, still within the lot.
