This practice is amazing!!! I have been going to this practice for treatment of post chemotherapy…read moreneuropathy for approximately two years. They have always treated me respectfully and with compassion. Specifically I would like to recognize the practice manager Kerry. She has gone above and beyond several times in my care. She made certain that I had medication refills when the doctor was unexpectedly out of the office, and even helped me get in with a specialist that is not in the practice because I was unable to get an appointment on my own. This office is always timely and I rarely have to wait (like so many other doctors offices) for my appointment.

I have been going to Ahwatukee Health and Recovery for 2 years…read more I cannot express enough how much I love the staff and the doctors. They are ALL extremely kind and professional. They take the time to listen to my needs and they follow up with me to inquire as to whether or not my needs were met, and the answer is always yes! They text me reminders of my next scheduled appointments, which I really appreciate because life gets so hectic and sometimes I forget. The staff has checked in with me during business hours, after business hours and on the weekends! it makes me wonder when do they ever have personal times for themselves? If I could give them a 10 star rating, I would!!!!! Thank you to everyone on the office staff and thank you to the doctors, the counselors and psychiatrist. Keep up the great job as you all have made a positive difference in my life. It took a lot of time and patience to get me on the correct medications, but no one gave up on me! Sincerely, L Gregory, patient

Recovia might be great for addiction, definitely not the place to go for mental illness…read more(depression, bi-polar, schizophrenia). They do not have psychiatrists, they have no family support or involvement. They do not seem to have any measures for progress. They bill not as a program but as individual dr. Visits so it can be $60 per day. No aftercare. Staff unable to answer questions. The one positive is the seem to work with everyone financially.

I attended their Intensive Outpatient Program, (IOP) for approx two months. I was impressed with…read morethe welcoming clinical staff, the program, and how you can receive multidisciplinary holistic treatment for behavior health, physical therapy, and pain management under one roof. I needed to set up a payment plan and contacted billing. I gave them my information, but never received any follow up receipts or documentation. I had forgotten that I made arrangements because I never received anything. Even when a payment transacted, I never received a receipt for my automatic transaction. Two weeks ago, I emailed my counselor, who is also the Clinical Director of this site, forwarding him my concerns, with my attachments, requesting to speak to a manager about this customer service situation and lack of follow through. I finally received a receipt and an itemized statement, but my payments weren't referenced. I was pretty confused. I still have a balance due but they don't seem concerned about it. I have asked to speak to a manager twice, and twice, I've been ignored. As great as the clinic staff is at being professional, responsive, and mostly, good listeners to when I express my needs, the billing department drops the ball. And I'm not talking once. I'm speaking of a couple times. Why does billing think they don't need to present a professional, courteous, responsive demeanor with clients? I don't know. But after I completed the active care program, I'm not returning. I can't work with people that ignore my needs, and requests for clarification. These people are suppose to be ACTIVELY RESPONSIVE. The risk, (headache, time wasted in emails, phone calls, and asking a manager to please call me, are futile. The risk outweighs the benefit. If you need to pay anything, expect nothing from billing. Cindy is way too busy to call you back to hear your concerns about not getting a payment plan printed out, getting my two debit payments totaling $500, in tax receipts without having to follow up repeatedly. I won't give them my debit card number again for having on file. The clinic staff is great, but the behind-the-scenes-staff, not so much!

There are both good and bad medical professionals at this facility. The key is to find a decent…read morecase manager who will find you a good PCP. That helped me a lot. I had some decent therapists. Until I decided to accept a therapist who was conservative. This woman not only told me to "pull myself up by my bootstraps" (I can get that kind of opinion out there in the real world). It does not help people, IMO. This same therapist also convinced me to participate in her group therapy. Well, it turns out, that the therapists were offered a $1,000 per month bonus from Bayless if they had so many billable hours. Boy, did I feel like a number in her $12,000 per year bonus. How do I know this? The therapist told us in the group therapy! She thought an awful lot of herself. How do I know this? She told us! Also, when I was designated SMI, Bayless dropped me. This Integrated Clinic does not accept SMI patients. Doesn't the whole idea of integrated care, include mental health?

I would like to recognize Mark's credibility and professionalism at Bayless…read more He is the one who recognized my TBI instantaneously. I recall looking at him like he is a medical genius. TBI patients tend to downplay symptoms due to previous trauma. If you have a TBI history, or PTSD, amongst other issues, please do not hesitate to book an appointment with him - Mark can help you. With brain trauma, arriving to appointments prepared, retaining the information without an interpreter, and comprehending what they are trying to explain to me in live time is difficult. I struggle daily as to why my progress in the health field takes longer. His extensive medical experience in the trauma field and mental health background outshines providers who may be unfamiliar with TBIs. Although they may appear "invisible," the impact on a patient can go unnoticed. I feel Mark Williams deserves acknowledgment that treating a TBI patient takes hands-on experience and expertise, patience, and dedication which he holds. Thank you so much!:)

Scottsdale Providence provides empathy, a sophisticated set of interpersonal skills, acts with a sense of urgency, constructive self-insights and encouragement. The staff helped me build a structured treatment plan to initiate helpful growth, strength and a realistic recovery. Although the action is up to you, the therapists equip you with a foundation full Of resources to build upon. They work on your inner strengths and challenge your weaknesses. They offer constructive feedback and are quick to tell you what you need to hear - not what you want to hear. The staff overall truly have your best interest at heart and want to see you succeed. They provided me with a sense of care and safety in being vulnerable. The staff is efficient in they're approach and steadfast to being consistent & professional. Thus far, treatment here has been a remarkably empowering and fortifying experience. They're recognition and approach have pulled me up from darkness into an optimistic state. Going to treatment here has given me hope, direction, and the opportunity to identify what I need to do to live a sober life. Recovery is possible (if you want to be sober) and being a client here has given me that chance. Scottsdale Providence has offered me a life-changing experience; that will put me back on the path to a positive, healthy, and sober life I so dearly have in front of me. In other words, I strongly recommend this treatment center if you're ready to get sober, honest and are willing to do the work.
