Don't believe the lies he'll sit there and preach about Jesus yet try to sell you on the 10,000 new machine he bought he'll tell you that you're great but that you need to keep on seeing him for years he'll say that you're disabled but you got to pay that $150 letter fee. He'll write that disabled letter but if you ask for 5 minutes of his time when you're not on the schedule he'll discharge you. I've been going to this man for several years and how everything has changed the shocked me he's got new people who don't even know how to work the pharmacy system they've screwed up my prescription so bad I've had anxiety attacks I believed in him but now his other staff won't even say hi if you don't have an appointment I asked to see him I waited for an hour and sweating in his hot waiting room Danielle didn't offer me any water but as soon as another person walked in she offered them water these people don't even care about basic care not even water for a person's been waiting and sweating in there like seriously it was like 85°. I truly dislike that he uses Jesus as a way of trying to control his patience and forever and ever you need to see him you need to see him and then he'll sell you off to some of these little new doctors that he brings in from God knows where who don't even know how to do the most basic things and then they'll screw up your medicine and now they don't even say they're sorry they just learned how to blame the patient. I've asked him for my personal record so I can leave to somebody else and they now decided they don't want to respond to my email request. So I have no choice but to file a complaint with the insurance company. The last time I was there when I left somebody said you know what you are wonderful and I asked them why and they said you just are and I know what the reason why is I didn't know this lady but it was because they could see that Danielle and the staff had changed so much and what's so passive aggressed aggressive. My dysfunction is that I was abused so bad that I don't put up with abuse anymore and I suggest that any of you who had bad experiences contact your insurance company this guy went from someone who cared to someone who's obsessed with his new machines his new receptionist selling everybody like he's a preacher on TV and then making sure you come back forever. read more

If I could give no stars I would. This office is a pit of malpractice and Medicaid/Medicare fraud complete with some intimidation, retaliation, and blackmail. The ketamine program is being run illegally because he has his two secretaries that have zero medical training (not even cpr certified)dispense the schedule II Narcotic and they are left to monitor the patients for the mandatory two hours with not one licensed clinician in the building. There are no MDs on staff so don't allow them to address themselves as doctor. This program almost cost me my life and I have recorded proof of them admitting to being the only ones in the building during ketamine treatment. Josiah the nurse practitioner is late with mee refills charges insurance for office visits that never happen, and when I said something I was screamed at and shut into a dark room with three people on the other side as if to say I'm going nowhere. He tried to blackmail me and when I stood up for myself he withheld my medication so now he will just give it to someone else which is actually a felony. I have reported him to insurance who now have two cases open against him, the FDA, the ketamine board that will take his certifications away, the state board of nursing, and the special pharmacy where he gets the ketamine because he is writing illegal prescriptions. At the advice of my insurance I have attained an attorney and I will not let this go. It'll be interesting to see if he is brave enough to lose at trial because I want him stripped of his license to practice, his secretaries will both be named in the complaint also because they are just as abusive and just as guilty. If you value your mental health and don't want an exorcism forced on you, go somewhere else. Took my son for the first visit, he was in and out in 5 mins with a prescription. Should have found another doctor at that point but I didn't, so for 5 months he's been seeing this practitioner until the Month of April 2020 not sure what happen but he never returned our many calls or emails, left us scrambling to find a Doctor to fill his prescription, thank god we found a DOCTOR and he received the Meds he needed. Not upset more baffled how someone in his position can leave us without the Meds my son needed and I wonder how many others were left hanging. So I took my girlfriend in for an official diagnosis. She explains to this "medical professional (owner)," if he can so be called, all about her trauma caused disorders have impacted her life to where she is dis functional and spends 50% of her life crying and having anxiety attacks and dissociating, even when things are fine and about her alters (split personalities) of which she has over 150. Instead of trying to empathize with his shook up client that is paying for his time, decides to interrogate her about her condition. He then has the nerve to tell her that he doesn't believe her, that she didn't know what she was talking about (I watched he score 170+ on multiple IQ tests and researches medical papers for gun! She is not dumb, in fact, I bet every earth possessions have, that she would be better suited to do his job) Yet it was obvious to me and several other medical professionals she had spoke to but unfortunately couldn't diagnose. After that she was so upset she began to dissociate and he began to treat her like she was bothering him. I know all this because he didn't close his office door and the lobby could hear this conversation. I am so disgusted by the way this person treats his clients. He acts so sure of himself, yet clearly doesn't have the training to be practicing, name a thing! SAVE YOUR MONEY, he is likely to worsen any feeling of helplessness you might be visiting for, this business should have never opened and it boggles my mind to know that he is still in business. I suffer from severe anxiety and a few other disorders let's just say I have SMI. Coming to a new doctor was a big stress factor at first. My old doctor was very lenient easy-going carefree which is exactly why I decided to switch doctors because my original one would just throw whatever medication he sought fit at me without even asking a question. One visit my old doctor would talk about islands off of Italy instead of addressing my mental health and at the time I was going through a very bad breakup and a custody battle to where I needed a trained professional to help me instead I got a conversation to which I become very unassertive because it's too much for me to stand up for myself and say are you going to take my problem seriously or talk about the islands off Italy during our 45 minutes session that only lasted 5 minutes. My first visit with Josiah was for lack of a better word awkward but most face-to-face visits are when you suffer from severe social anxiety but for once I had a doctor asked me specific questions. He asked me about my medical history and about some issues going on at the time but at the end of the visit I felt relieved. I've been prescribed pretty much the same medications since I was a kid but only a few doctors take the time to go over the medications and why you need them and how much you should be getting more how often and on that day I realize that my old doctor was way over prescribing me. Josiah is very intelligent and very Stern and knows about the field that he is in. I was a little nervous when my dosages got lowered I thought am I going to end up in a behavioral health unit like so many times before but the combination of meds that I am on now has had the most positive impact on my behavior and overall mood. One star reviews are not justifiable for this practice and the ones that I read are very misleading I've been a patient of his sense he was off of 67th Ave and Camelback ish area and not once as he stopped any of our sessions to do something else real quick nor take a phone call I have seen him put people on hold during our sessions and the cleanliness of his office is always immaculate and as far as patience info being left out on one of the reviews I don't know if that's true or false but I am very observant and avoid making eye contact as much as possible so I am always looking around trying to find ways to distract myself situations where I have to talk to people and I have never seen any paperwork with compromising information on it or that would lead to a HIPPA violation I used to chart meds using a program called kipu so I know a lot about what can and cannot be done with medication and personal information containing your mental illness being left out or talking within a certain distance to a patient in front of another patient neither of those I could see Josiah doing he's pretty by the books and a little intimidating at first. Just because his office is in a bad part of town does not make him a bad doctor who doesn't care about his patience or his patience privacy I'd honestly give it a four and a half star maybe four star but because of all the one-star reviews I believe his rating should be higher especially a lot higher than one star that's just ridiculous it sounds like most of the reviewers went there with expectations and decided to write a review out of spite because none other reviews are in any way accurate. read more

I don't understand how this provider got bad reviews. He is actually one of the great Psychiatrists who actually listens. Most of them don't even spend more than 15 minutes. But he spends a good amount of time with his patients. I recommend him to anyone who needs a real 'talk therapy'. read more

Please save time and go elsewhere. Arizona is a full practice state so it is important to know that if you are looking for a specialist you won't find it here. This place is run by Josiah who is an NP (Nurse Practitioner) and that's completely fine in the state of Arizona, however, be aware you won't be receiving specialist care. The wait was extremely long even though there were no other patients in the office and I arrived 20 minutes early to complete the usual new patient paperwork. After about 45 minutes of waiting (25 past my scheduled appointment) Josiah appears and walks me to his office. I arrive and to be blunt his desk is messier than my life. There's no care for confidentiality as I could clearly see other patient forms strewn about his desk with legible names and addresses and copies of IDs. The door was left wide open during my visit and the receptionist walked in while I divulged my personal history. The phone rings mid visit and for whatever reason the receptionist doesn't answer so Josiah picks it up himself and proceeds to assist and discuss this patients history while I'm sitting in front of him. After about 5-10 minutes of this he prescribes me Vyvanse, which is the most expensive medication coming at about $400 a prescription as there is no generic version yet. Well, the visit was over and I was heading to the counter to pay for the visit. Being referred by my insurance, who called and confirmed they were in network, I was expecting to pay my typical $20 co-pay. Josiah walks me to the counter himself, asks me if anyone explained the pricing (THEY DID NOT OR I WOULD HAVE GONE ELSEWHERE.) He explains that the initial intake is $150 and every subsequent visit will be $75. Being caught off guard at the end of my visit and feeling helpless with my mental health I obliged and paid the fee. Feeling strange about the encounter I reached out to my insurance who recommended I request an invoice to send them. I call Josiah who says he'll send it shortly. As you can guess, I did not receive the invoice and had to call again the following day to demand it. For your sake and your wallets please find a practice who will actually hear out your concerns and work with insurance and not price gauge you with extreme visit fees and the most expensive medication just so Josiah can subsidize his Lexus and Michael Kors shirts. I ended up finding another practice with an actual Psychiatrist who prescribed me a different medication and asked me to make additional lifestyle changes to make sure treatment is effective and all for my $20 co-pay. read more
