Come here for PT and Mark is awesome! He's the kind of PT that likes to explain the holistic approach and WHY and where your injury stems from. Came here because I had a sprained ankle. Overall the care is very fair. While I'm not fully healed he explained to why this is going to take me putting in the work forever. Just really appreciated the transparency and condor the clinic and mark have. They have their own billing dept in case you have questions. Mark particularly took extra care due to my mistrust of insurance. The clinic is a bit anal on the arrival time and not being late although the doctors are typically late. Just keep that in mind.

    Bloods out, PRP in.

He gave me cortisone shots in each wrist and less than 24 hours later, my symptoms are 95% gone. He explained what I needed to know and did a good job administering the shots. Hopefully the carpal tunnel doesn't come back but if it does, I will return here for whatever comes next. Would give 5 stars but the wait time was a little long. I am my own wellness advocate, and when I ask questions, I expect professional answers from a surgeon. Insurance companies are reluctant to pay for services -- in this case, I don't blame them. He answered my questions incompletely and with condescension; I doubt he ever looked at my chart. I made an appointment for a follow-up in 6 weeks; I'll be cancelling. The waiting room was a mass of people; like cattle being taken to slaughter. I waited 45 minutes to see someone. Most of the staff was kind and gave great explanations. However, the last guy was a waste of space; my short-term parking placard form was incomplete and incorrect, so I have to return to the DMV to resubmit corrected forms, which I'll be getting from my own physical therapist (take a referral from them? No, thanks.) Trying to reach a human was impossible by phone. Worst. Medical. Service. Ever. Full stop.

I understand that doctors have the right to refuse to provide service (based on the insurance). However, sure would have been nice for someone to call and let me know. At a minimum, send me a letter. Instead, after living in excruciating pain for 2-weeks without so much as a call, I phoned to be told that Dr Wagner doesn't accept my insurance. REALLY?! What happened to customer service? Just goes to show that the world continues to go down the drain and doctors are right there too.

In addition I explicitly told him to focus and rework the tricep muscle in both failed surgeries. The moment I told them I wanted a second opinion elsewhere, they canceled me as a patient as it turns out the new surgeon fix the problem. Bottom line I would never be sitting in this hotel room right now if Brain P Davis did his job, do NOT believe it's World class surgeon services. Regardless of his bowtie on or not and proceed with caution. Oh, and by the way, I'm still paying off those failed surgeries. Make sure you do your homework before seeing Brain P Davis.

I was referred to Dr. James Rector at Boulder Orthopedics (BoulderCentre for Orthopedics) ten years…read moreago by another orthopedic center in the Vail Valley. As a highly active forty-four year-old rock climber and triathlete, I was diagnosed with severe osteoarthritis in my left hip. I continued to do sports at a high level; however, my pain became increasingly difficult to manage, and I eventually reached out to Dr. Rector to discuss treatment options. He recommended Birmingham Hip Resurfacing (BHR) as the best procedure for my specific condition. It was extremely important to me that my surgeon understood my post goal surgical objective was to continue with a high level of activity as quickly as practical. I communicated my objectives to Dr. Rector, and we set goals to support my intentions. In October 2009, Dr. Rector performed Birmingham Hip Resurfacing surgery on my left hip with outstanding results. I immediately experienced relief from pain, and subsequently regained full range of motion. I returned to rock climbing and competing in triathlons within a year after my surgery. Six years after my BHR, I was diagnosed with osteoarthritis in my right hip, and in September 2015 Dr. Rector performed total hip replacement surgery on my right side. Once again my pain was almost immediately relieved, and my range of motion was virtually perfect. I was climbing in the gym eight weeks after surgery, biking at ten weeks, and running pain free eight months post operatively. At one year, my physical condition has returned 100 percent, and I have no restrictions on any of my former and present activities. I highly recommend Dr. Rector and his team at BoulderCentre for Orthopedics. I found and continue to feel that Dr. Rector treated me with extreme professionalism, and obviously I have complete trust and faith in his work. He and his team are dedicated, talented individuals committed to the health and welfare of their patients. I refer to Dr. Rector as my "Hero," and the elation that I feel rock climbing, running, and biking pain free is immeasurable. Most importantly he has helped me reacquire my former quality of life! After he refused to admit there's a problem I looked at the x-rays 4 weeks later and I found the malalignment of the metatarsal plane as day that needs to be realigned in my foot, I dropped off the first opinion and results form other providers showing what was wrong. Apparently I hurt his feelings because he had the office manager tell me not to come back to Cornerstone, (Ocel isn't Man or Doctor enough to tell me himself) trust me I won't and I strongly recommend you don't go to Cornerstone Orthopedics', They are an Extremely greedy practice. I'm sharing my experience in the hope it helps others make informed decisions…read more I initially had a positive experience at Boulder Regenerative Orthopedics. The first physician I worked with, Dr. Cummings, recommended starting conservatively with PRP and shockwave therapy. That treatment appeared to be effective--particularly in reducing tightness and scar tissue in my IT band. After that physician left the practice, my care transitioned to the primary doctor/owner, Dr. Mazzola. At that point, I was strongly encouraged to pursue stem cell therapy, which was presented as highly effective--particularly for healing tears and restoring function. Based on those discussions, I moved forward with the procedure, with the understanding that it could significantly improve my condition. Unfortunately, my experience did not match those expectations. One year later, after stem cell therapy, following the post-treatment protocol, daily PT, and deep tissue massage, follow-up imaging has shown no improvement, and in some respects, my condition appears to have worsened. In addition, the treatment was very costly and not covered by insurance, making the lack of results especially difficult. I want to be clear that regenerative medicine is a developing field, and outcomes may vary. However, I believe it's important for patients to have a balanced understanding of the limitations, uncertainty, and variability of stem cell treatments, particularly given the financial investment involved. If you are considering this route, I would strongly encourage: Seeking multiple medical opinions Asking for evidence specific to your condition Carefully weighing expected outcomes against cost There may be value in some of the more conservative therapies offered, based on my earlier experience. But I would urge caution and thorough due diligence before proceeding with more advanced and expensive interventions.

Dr. Mazzola is incredible. He's the guy to see for any orthopedic injury. He's a miracle worker.read more
