From the moment I walked in, I noticed "regular " patients going in and walking out in under two minutes....it was obvious they do a quick "pop-n-go" procedure here. I came for an initial evaluation and all they did was take me back to the doctor's huge office to meet him but then he told his assistant to take me to another room which was basically the size of a walk in closet and had me wait. He didn't do X-rays or any other tests, after the assistant took my vitals I waited more while he saw other patients then he came in and did a few quick adjustments. I definitely expected more from an initial evaluation, he barely asked me what my issue was. Not the type of chiropractor I prefer.

A couple of the ladies I horseback ride with finally talked me into seeing Dr. Jeff, and I'm very glad that I did! He listened empathetically to my concerns and health history and immediately went to work. I love that he did extensive soft tissue work before doing adjustments so that the adjustments were more effective. I also think it's great that he gives patients easy ways to work on themselves with foam rollers and tennis balls in between sessions. I just went to my second session and I'm super happy to say that over the past two weeks (since my first visit) my body has felt more balanced and less stiff and painful. I'm looking forward to future improvements! At the start of my treatment, he had said that $2K would cover my treatment, then he found out that my insurance would cover up to $5K - which he charged them and got paid for. Then he claimed that I still owed him over $1,700. All in all, he got paid $6,800 for the same treatment that he had quoted me for $2K. He made me pay for my initial visit, and later I found out that he had charged my insurance for the same exact first visit. When I asked him about it, he agreed that he would reimburse me for that visit. However, to this day, with many back-and-forth emails, I have not received any payment. He just uses different excuses and plays games to avoid paying what he himself had agreed to. I do not trust Dr. Ray any longer. I will no longer get treatments from him nor will I refer anyone to him.

On my first visit, I said "Wow!" when he aggressively pulled my head for a neck/spine adjustment and he said, "Just think what I could do in a back alley." He had me in his office and was labeling my folder on his computer and laughed and said he misspelled "stuff" as "stiff" and thought it was funny I later saw he left it labeled as "stiff". Once I dropped a sheet of paper and he picked it up and wadded it into a ball and stuck it down my leggings on my backside and laughed. It was confusing because he was the doctor and I the patient with an uneven power. I would think, "Did that really happen?" But that's what perpetrators do...they prey on the nice people who are polite and they sneak in their advances quietly like they breath..sometimes almost unnoticeable until the victim reflects on what just happened. I found I was going to the office when I knew he wouldn't be there. Then one day I was driving to his office and could not get myself to turn left to his office. I told myself no more and went home. I called his office to speak to his manager who is his wife and told her everything. She was empathetic but not surprised. She cancelled my contract immediately.
