Stop to eat the service and food were good. Kinda pricey. Very uncomfortable chairs. Not good if you have back problems. Hard metal seats.

Employee was nice. Food selection good. This is a BUSY Love's. That's saying something!…read more Very busy. Bathroom was "meh." I had to wait in line twice to use it. After the first time, I brushed my teeth because I was tired of waiting and I figured a stall would get open after I brushed my teeth. Nope. Stalls emptied and refilled! Had to wait a second time. This Love's doesn't seem as clean as other ones. Maybe it's getting older. And it's also super busy which doesn't help maintain a property's cleanliness. DOG PARK: Be sure to choose a side. Big dog or little dog and close your dog in the one side. I didn't and just closed the outer doors. I turned around to pick up my dog's leashes and they had opened the main gate and gotten out !!! Thankfully they came right back. But it scared me.

Solid little stop in the middle of the night because I was running on empty in more ways than one…read more Gas was low, energy low, visibility low. I wasn't sure where to go and I remembered that phrase people like to post in their houses in the wall as a reminder: "Live, Laugh, Love's" If you're saying to yourself "it's LOVE, not LOVES" you're not wrong, but it's fitting so here we are. So there I was; Lo and behold, I happen upon Love's Travel Shop. I stopped, slammed gas and got hopped up on Mountain Dew. Suddenly I can see clearly Now the grime was wiped. I purchased some stickers and kept it moving onto the next few hours of driving. I'm thankful for the staff and had a good experience here. I stepped into the adjacent McDonalds and ate a burger. I consumed caffeine and protein and kept in keeping on.

CEFCO is definitely a brand I'm not familiar with named after the founder C.E Fikes who started out…read morein 1952 with one line Texaco Station in Cameron, Texas they now operate over 200 stores in (4) states (Texas, Alabama, Mississippi, and Florida) I'm guessing for now in western Florida only since as of this time there aren't any in my hometown on the east coast of Florida for now at least. I'm not really brand loyal but I do normally frequent newer C-Stores when it comes to pumping gas. Today 87 octane was $2.899 per gallon I pulled in to fuel the Subaru out of curiosity more than anything. I was surprised to find a number of the pumps displayed the famous yellow "out of order" bags over the pumps and the rest had customers either pumping fuel or inside the store so I had to circle the fuel islands several times to get a pump (not the best first experience). Well one finally freed up and I filled up, everything worked fine including the receipt dispenser and the place looked well maintained- I did visit the restroom and it was clean as they stated on their website so they seem to deliver on that promise so except for playing musical chairs at the gas pumps all appears to be okay...

Nothing like driving along a rural road and needing gas...or a potty break...or a cup of…read morecoffee...or..."name that craving." TJ's BP Station and Convenience store pretty much has got y'all covered. My wife and I discovered TJs on one of our many trips between Franklin and Fort Walton Beach. Now it's become a regular stop on our journeys to and from the Gulf. Don't let the dimly-lit interior fool you. These down-to earth folks are great! Polite and eager to converse, we've found them to be congenial every time we stop. And they have just about anything you need in a pinch. If your don't see it, ask! Best of all, while you might find gas prices up and down the scale along this highway. In fact, on our most recent trip we saw a range of 59 cents a gallon! But surprising as it might seem for a little country store, TJ's invariably has some of the lowest, most competitive prices along Al 137. Tj's is located at the Intersection of Alabama 137 & County Road 4, 2 miles north of the Alabama-Florida line. For those in a hurry, the single-user bathrooms are located alongside the northern side of the building, small but always clean. For folks hankering for a soft drink or snacks - candy, chips, cookies, jerky (or other everyday convenience food) step inside. You can grab a slice of Hunt Bros Pizza; and at times there are homemade sandwiches or other hot items. I'd add a check-in each time we've stopped, but the one thing they don't have at TJ's and the surrounding area is cell phone service. So here's your check in a few days late. See y'all back on the road.
