Chicken pasta and Large Chicken Garlic Pizza

Great spot to order and pick up your salad, pizza, and pasta in Fairfield/Suisun City area. I've had their pizzas to go and picked up. We came here on a Friday afternoon with a group of kids after practice and called to order ahead. The workers weren't that friendly and o don't think they're used to having people eat there. We had to ask for plates and forks and cups when trying to dine in. I think this more of a takeout place. Located not too far from Scandia and neighboring hotels. So good for easy takeout. Their cheese, Hawaiian, and chicken pizza is pretty good. Their salad is normal and their pasta isn't bad either! Parking is fairly easy since they're in their own area.

I got half Hawaiian half cheese and it was pretty good .. the bread sticks on the other hand are a definitely a no go .. they resemble the little ceasers breadsticks with the bag and everything but they taste like cardboard..the ranch and ceaser dressing is delicious I would definitely order another pizza from here.

The Pizza is pizza but the service isn't really service. Everything is everything but somehow going inside there makes you feel like nothing at all. It literally looks like you'd rather order Digorno

Cheese pizza when I was suppose to get a Medium Superrrific Pizza.

Epic fail! I ordered online for pick up. When I got there my order wasn't ready (even though on the app it says it was, the person helping me looked overwhelmed and walked back to the kitchen multiple times before telling me it wasn't ready yet) and ended up getting the wrong pizza. Superrrific with white sauce (suppose to come with) mozzarella cheese, pepperoni, mushrooms, onions, green peppers and Italian sausage and I got a cheese pizza with white sauce, no other toppings. I know I should have checked it before I left (that my bad) but seriously? She walked back to check my order a few times before giving it to me so I assumed it was correct. It's not worth going back there to get a new pizza when I already got home. Cheese pizza was good but not what I ordered. Just check your order before you leave. The staff looked overwhelmed and I think they got a lot of pick up orders all of a sudden since 3 other people were there waiting for take out orders.

Ordered the Mediterranean Experience. What I received was a quite overdone, stinky pizza with BLACK, CHARRED spinach pieces. Disgusting. I asked either for my money back or a remake. After argument and pushback, with the employee saying that's the way the pizza is supposed to be (!!!), she decided to remake it. And the second time it was not over done. But I had to sit and wait for 25 minutes. Not happy. Not going back.

    Receipt

I returned after maybe a year or so, today. Place was empty today at 1:30pm. It appears to be under new ownership as the previous Italian owner was absent and an older gentleman walked behind the counter. I ordered online and noticed there was a one-dollar technology-fee? I pay for the courtesy of placing my own order & get charged for it? Maybe I'm in the wrong business? I enjoyed the individual pizza but I could not order it with cup-pepperoni, online. I had to enter and ask. The technology-fee at work. I would have preferred the pizza crust be more thin & for slightly less cheese. They have large, established trees out front which looks nice & keeps the car cooler.

MIXED REVIEW- This has been our go-to neighborhood pizza place. Our daughter worked here, her friends, we've been going there for MANY years. COVID-19 has been tough for everyone... and prices go up, but QUALITY and VALUE should not. When I called, the kid who answered the phone was obviously busy, abrupt and I was sure he would get it wrong. After ordering, We read the most recent reviews and almost cancelled the order. Instead, we went along to see how it would be. I was expecting the worst. Pizzas were made on time. They seemed smaller than usual.... supposed to be Large. The slices were short like medium to small, so the diameter must have been smaller. We had an Italian Veggie- added chicken, minus the feta. I think the amount of balsamic glaze was less, my husband said was bland. We also had a pepperoni pizza which was very flat and burned. All in all, we did still enjoy the pizzas, so I gave 4 stars instead of 5. But the jury is still out... especially if this IS a new owner ... don't cheat your neighbors.

I ordered the chicken Philly and specifically asked for no mayo, which was also noted on my receipt. I also asked for jalapeños because the menu listed "hot and sweet peppers," but the server said those were more like bell peppers. The fresh jalapeños ended up being an extra $1.50. Unfortunately, the sandwich arrived with mayo on both sides of the bread. I was already very hungry and getting a headache, so instead of sending it back and waiting again, I tried scraping most of it off. Even after that, the sandwich was still very heavy. There was also a lot of melted cheese that tasted closer to an American or Cheez-Whiz style cheese rather than something milder like provolone or Swiss, which made the sandwich very wet and overly rich. I ended up eating less than half of the sandwich before giving up on it. The garlic fries were decent, though they were very thin shoestring fries and the portion looked larger than it actually was because they were spread out across the tray. The pickle on the side was very soft and soggy and had an unusual mix of dill and sweet flavors, so I only took one bite. To the server's credit, when she saw that I wasn't taking the sandwich to go and mentioned the mayo issue, she gave me 20% off the bill, which I appreciated. However, since more than half of the sandwich went uneaten due to the mistake, a larger adjustment might have felt more appropriate. Overall, the experience was pretty average ("meh"), and while the staff was polite, the food itself didn't live up to expectations. I probably wouldn't return on my own.

I still had to pick my kid up from school, so it just made sense to slide somewhere close by that never misses. Pulled up to Ristorante Pasta D'Oro -- this was my third visit -- and just like every other time, it delivered. Honestly, it might've been even better. We grabbed the regular spaghetti and split it between my two sons. Plenty of food, easily enough for two. I did ask about the spaghetti and meatballs since they usually run that as a special, but it wasn't available today. Still, the regular spaghetti held its own with no problem. I also picked up the mixed greens salad, and the vinaigrette is different in the best way. It's flavorful, balanced, and seriously one of the highlights. When I brought it home, my fiancée tried it and immediately said I should've asked for extra. I didn't realize it was going to be that good, but now I know. Pro tip: ask for extra dressing. We grabbed the penne pasta as well, which my fiancée said was great. And once my toddler finished his spaghetti, he went straight to helping her with the penne. That's how you know it's fire. On the side, I ordered the mozzarella sticks -- handmade, big, crispy, and cooked perfectly. I believe it came with about four to six, but they're large and filling. Everything was 10 out of 10. If I could give it a million out of a million, I would. Since I can't, it's a solid five out of five stars every time. Pasta D'Oro for the win.

FINALLY!!! We moved…read moreto Fairfield 3 years ago. Being Italian it is hard to find a place for me that meets the expectations of what a true Italian food should taste like. I've seen the sign when driving by a few times. Decided tonight to give it a try... I wish I did it sooner. Perfecto! The ambience and decor is very old school Italian restaurant. The wait staff is dressed as such. The dress code is casual (in case you are wondering). Let's get to the staff. They are VERY attentive. The was never a miss with them. Our server checked on us so often. It was nice. I wish I knew her name because she needs recognition! She was AMAZING! My Arnold Palmer was never empty. The support staff made sure our waters were the same way. The ONLY hang up is that bread refills were $3 (something we didn't know). It might be on the menu somewhere. We don't blame them for that but it's good to be advised. The food came out really quick as well and piping hot. Now let's get to the food that is just perfection. There is no kids menus but the portions are so big that the little ones can share off of you. We got our little guy a cheese pizza. I had a slice and it is really good. My son is normally picky but he was not with this pizza. We also had the bruschetta (I should have taken a picture... my fault). They make it on their sourdough. It was a nice twist. My wife and I ordered both fettuccine. She ordered the Alfredo and I ordered the La Strada (both of us added Italian Sausage). The kitchen was moving! It came out hot and perfectly on time after we finished our bruschetta. It was creamy with so much flavor. Even our 3 year old wanted some (good thing the portions are big). We loved it but we wanted room for dessert. Our server boxed it up our food. We ordered the crepes and spumoni. The crepes were so good! At the end of everything was done. My wife and I agreed. We found true Italian food. Definitely will be back. To the owner... Thank you! This experience has been everything we have been looking for.

No deposit or anything required and they said we can decorate the room. I just brought balloons and a cake, and cut it myself. The food and service were great! We didn't have to wait long, we were seated next to the bar which got kind of loud but wasn't an issue. We got 2 samplers that came with calamari, bruschetta, and caprese mozzarella. We get complimentary bread and my dad wanted garlic bread. I ordered the crab ravioli which was so thick and with shredded pieces of real crab, so good! Items ordered were lasagna di carne, eggplant Parmesan, tortellini, seafood pasta, chicken fettuccine Alfredo. They don't have a kids menu but recommend ordering side orders of things so we got my nephews spaghetti noodles and one meatball and a sausage. They ate all their noodles. And we even ordered a ton of desserts- key lime cheesecake, chocolate cake, crème brûlée, and an affogato. 20% gratuity it was added and our bill for 10 people came out to a little over $500 which I would say was a pretty good price for our large group and we all were very full. They have both indoor and outdoor seating and a bar. There is also plenty of parking! Perfect spot before or after trying to go wine tasting in the Napa Valley.

The ambiance is also appreciated. What do I mean by that? Well, having eaten both indoors and outdoors. I feel great. On a beautiful day such as today I'm sitting outside. When a drove up there were 2 men at one table enjoying the day as well as a group of women enjoying themselves. This time I brought a book to read while I enjoyed my meal. Because I tend to come during non peak hours I am never rushed. The menu is wonderful though admittedly, I tend to stick to a few dishes I truly relish. I also love that I can come in and say "please bring me whatever you think I'd enjoy." Again, I'm never disappointed and have tried things I'd have never ordered. What's that commercial say? What stood out to me back then was that it was one of the few meals I could actually eat and keep down during that time, so coming back with her for an early dinner felt like a true full-circle moment. We were seated right away in the bar area, and our waitress was very kind and attentive. The menu has a little something for everyone, which made it easy to find options we'd both enjoy. I started with the Italian wedge salad, which came with candied pecans and the usual toppings. What I appreciated most was that it didn't have an overwhelming amount of raw red onions, which can sometimes take over a wedge salad. It was well balanced and really enjoyable. For my entrée, I had the lasagna, which was flavorful, saucy, and satisfying. I would have liked a bit more cheese, but it wasn't a dealbreaker. My daughter ordered the cheese ravioli with Alfredo sauce along with a vanilla Italian soda with cream, which she really enjoyed. The complimentary bread service was also a highlight -- served with olive oil that had pieces of roasted garlic. We added balsamic vinegar, and it was delicious. I had the blackberry iced tea, which was refreshing and paired well with the meal. Overall, this visit was a great reminder of why this place has stuck with me over the years. Definitely a spot I'll be coming back to -- and not waiting another 17 years next time.
