Some contractors come one day and dont come back for a couple days - they showed up every day they said they would be here. The crew, Peter and Miguel, worked well together and so they were able to move through the project quickly. The finished product looks great thanks to their attention to detail. Another thing, we were living there during the flooring and they were very understanding and happy to work with us on minimizing the disruption to our home. (Initial review) Initially when Alex first gets your business, they seem responsive and even tells me about how shoddy of a job the previous flooring people did in my home (fixed by previous owners). But the moment any small issues come up, Alex just ghosts his customers. In the video you can see the cracks happening under normal body weight. I really wanted to believe that at the very least he and his team will try to provide any rectification, even if it's just to come out again to check on the floor to see what else can be done, like I wouldn't even have mind paying an additional small fee for materials. Instead, since he has been fully paid, he won't even see the project to the end to make sure he delivers on quality work. I understand that things come up and he could be busy but the non-responsiveness for two weeks is clear.

Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever experienced…read more Before I paid, the salesperson specifically warned me that tiles from different production batches would have different colors. Because of that, I made it crystal clear that I wanted ALL of my tiles from the SAME batch. I was promised that would not be a problem. After my contractor finished installing and cleaning the floor, we immediately noticed an obvious color difference across the floor. At first glance it may not be obvious, but once you see it, you can't unsee it. A brand-new floor should NEVER look like this. I checked every box myself and discovered that about two-thirds of my order was Batch 1M21, while the rest was Batch 1M35. The store literally mixed two different batches together after promising they wouldn't. The most outrageous part? The correct batch (1M35) is NOT out of stock. They still have more than 140 pieces available. They simply gave me the wrong batch. When I went back to the store expecting them to fix THEIR mistake, the manager refused to take any responsibility. Instead, he told me I had to: * Buy replacement tiles again with only a 20% discount * Pay the transfer fee * Pay the shipping costs * Pay any other related expenses * Contact corporate myself Are you serious? If you truly believe your store did nothing wrong, why offer me a 20% discount in the first place? That tells me you know a mistake was made--you just don't want to take responsibility for it. I paid for matching tiles because your employee promised matching tiles. Your store mixed the batches, not me. Yet somehow I'm expected to pay thousands more to fix YOUR mistake? That is beyond unacceptable. Now I'm left with a brand-new floor that has visible color variation throughout my home because of the store's negligence. Replacing it would mean tearing out a newly installed floor, buying new materials, and paying labor all over again--simply because the store failed to provide what they promised. I would never recommend buying tile from this store. If they make a mistake, don't expect them to stand behind their product or take responsibility. Save yourself the stress, time, and money, and shop somewhere else.

I politely pointed out the difference and asked if they could help me find the correct color. Instead of trying to help, the employee immediately became rude and simply said, "That's it. If you don't like it, don't buy it." I was honestly shocked by the lack of customer service. Mistakes happen, but treating a long-time customer with that kind of attitude is unacceptable. I wasn't asking for anything unreasonable--just help finding the matching trim. Very disappointing experience.

Yes, they let me know that I would need to move any furniture out of the way &/they would cover the beds with a blanket BUT by the time I decided what to do, the worker was already chipping away at the broken glass windows. How am I supposed to move a king size bed within a minute? And though I did move my child's bed, it still got glass on it. Now, both my bed and my 5Y child's bed still have shards of glass including our floors, window sills & who knows where else in addition to debris. It's not tons, but some pieces big enough to be concerning & cut our foot on &/scrape our face. I also intentionally folded up the blanket they used to "prevent" such a mess myself to ensure the shards would stay encased inside, only to witness it being shaken out on our sidewalk-front yard where our dog, kid & neighborhood dogs play and pass often. Would strongly advise: 1. Let your customers know further in advance what prep is required especially if you don't intend to do a thorough clean up job afterwards 2. Implement safer practices eg lay tarp inside and out around the areas glass will be broken BEFORE starting the work

Their prices are very competitive, but the mean reason I choose them is because of Gwen. Gwen was absolutely amazing, she helped me design all my window treatments, and they look stunning. She walked me through every step of the process and answered all my concerns. They showed up on time, and everything was neat and clean after they were done. I rarely write reviews, but wanted to comment on Cemac Window Covering in San Gabriel. I went to this store yesterday to have a quotation for my window shades. They have a beautiful Hunter Douglas showroom. A lot of options to choose. I really liked their silhouette shades. The store manager gave me a good price since I'm ordering 18 of them. Charlene had came over to my house to measure my windows and recommend the color before she order my shades. 2 of our sliding windows ended up doing the Luminette shades. It looks absolutely beautiful but it is more expensive, but hey, you get what you're paying for and it's worth it. LOVE IT!! read more

We decided to go with Cemac after shopping around for our window shades. Their team did provide us good information on Hunter Douglas product and patiently going through our options. After order placed, I do like them keeping their client updated on ordered status due to delay in this current time. Sales person showed up on the installation day and walk through with me on shade operating function. The installer put on cover sheet on my wood floor where he put his tool. I recently brought a new house in West Covina. The house was plain and needs something to block the sun light coming through. A friend recommended me to come to this shop because he did his window treatments there 3 years ago. The manager of the store Unger was very professional and knows exactly what fits my house the best. We ended up doing Duette Honey Comb shades. We got a new property in Chino hills need some roller shades and shutter for our french door and windows. Allison with fantastic customer service was very patient explaining different style and fabric to me and my mom. Not to mention their price is 40% less than other store with Hunter Douglas product.
