You start with a sample of one the the beers while you hear some history of Hamm's brewing. Then, into the brewing area to learn hownits done and sample another beer. Finally, (at least in summer) head outside for a scavenger hunt and another beer sample. And then, it's a short walk across the parking lot to 11 Wells for more history, samples of their spirits and explanation of rhe distilling process. And a game of trivia! The guides are so friendly and animated! It really was a fun evening. Highly recommend.

The view of downtown Minneapolis from the Great Clips stage was pretty. Portapotties galore. The con's: The event was only from 5-10:30p yet tickets were $70+ticketing fees-expensive! Food & drinks were pricey too, as they tend to be at festival events. The crowd vibe just wasn't there for what you would expect from a music festival. Most folks seemed interested in roaming about and conversating vs jamming out to the music. A free bus pass was offered for everyone attending the event, but I didn't see a single bus on my 15 min walk back to my hotel. That's not necessarily BBP's fault but you'd think there'd be better coordination of public transportation between event planners and the city. Overall, if you go, you'll probably have some high-priced fun on a beautiful summer day in downtown Minneapolis.

Even when I lived around there, and was a member of the church, I avoided the area during the Block Party because of how crazy it got. Parking was crazy, the first night I had a friend drop me off and pick me up, because I didn't want to deal with all of the extra cars on top of the construction that was happening on Hennepin Ave. The second night because of other events that I was attending over the weekend, I parked in the Target Center Ramp Parking. Since no other events were happening, it was only $5 for parking on the weekend, and it was far enough away from all of the busy part of downtown that it made the exit super easy. I volunteered at the Coke Tent 1, which was by the Main Stage. It was so much fun! I could hear the music well and see the acts, along with working. It was 4 tickets for a beverage. At our tent we had Sodas, Lemonades, and Water. People loved the water, they did get a little fussy when they realized we couldn't give them the caps, but most got over it quickly. One gentleman who was there the first night, and came back the second night actually brought a cap with him the next evening. It was kind of funny, but very smart and resourceful on his part. The other volunteers were nice and friendly, and even the main staff that instructed the volunteers what the different tasks were. After this experience, I couldn't believe I waited this long to participate in this event. We got free T-shirts, and the colors were a pretty Teal. I believe they change each year, and I can't wait to see what the color is next year.

Great place to hear folk music. All proceeds go to the artists and the ambiance is much like a family potluck where everyone brings a treat to share. Make sure to reserve a seat because standing room only is not uncommon.

I saw The Killers here in June 2025 and it was my first visit to the Palace. Entry was fast and…read moreeasy. The view and sound from behind the soundboard was great, standing room only. The restrooms were clean when I visited at the start of the evening. I'd come back for shows considering it's so small. The only complaint, exit was slow and crowded even though there were plenty of exit options but they were kept close, leaving one bottle-neck exit out the main doors.

The Palace will always be one of my favorite venues to catch a show. Brings me back to my younger…read moredays of standing room only shows (although they do have balcony seating available). The theater is located in downtown Saint Paul with lots of neighboring restaurants and bars if you want to pre or post show party. There is no designated parking area but there is paid street parking (free on Sundays and after 10pm) as well as plenty of paid parking lots and ramps nearby. There is a slightly raised platform with a railing that I always try to snag a spot at as it offers a great view (especially for us short people). Most of my pics are taken from that exact spot. The floor can get pretty cramped but most of the crowds I've encountered have been very friendly. The theater itself is old but beautiful. The upstairs area shows exposed beams and bricks which I think adds to the charm!

Park close to the theater was Ridiculously expensive because of a Timberwolves game going on. I think most of the parking garage is close by we're charging $25. I use ParkWhiz to find a six dollar parking Lot six minutes walking distance away. They Did not sell concessions at the show that I went to. But that's OK that I was only 1and 40 min long. I would definitely go back again I really like the theater it was nice and clean and the people who worked here were very friendly.

I had no idea that there were so many studios within this one facility, and I really love that the studio floors have gridlines painted on them (much like a Tic Tac Toe board), to teach dancers to dance more effectively within their own space. I've never seen that at any other studio, and I think it's positively brilliant. As for the theater itself, it was simply stunning. It's a relatively small theater, but what it lacks in size it definitely does not lack in aesthetic appeal. The lighting and sound are top-notch, and because of the relatively diminutive size, there simply is not a bad seat in the house.

Unfortunately, people who didn't realize the importance of the history of this seminal musical group. I was astonished by the audience, not understanding the importance of this musical genre. I was moving to the music, although it appeared that this section of Minnesota was not interested in this musical quality of the artist. And people around me were Minnesota'nice'. I understand what Minnesota nice is : ambivalence and lack of respect, for anyone is not in 'their' group!

It is a really well done event. The setting itself is gorgeous. If you haven't visited the museum/Turnblad do it now. But there's so much going on at this event that everyone can have fun. The bands were incredible. There were a variety of different art activities that you could participate in both inside and out. I liked that several of them related to the Main exhibit that is taking place there right now. They worked with Du Nord spirits to come up with four signature cocktails. We tried two of the four they were both excellent and the rest looked fantastic. They also had four signature mock tails. The food curated for the event also looked great but we made the mistake of eating before we went. The mood was festive and there were people of all ages from 21 on up there. I went with just one friend. I think it could've been even more fun if we brought a crew but either way I think it is an extraordinary sFriday night out with just a special someone or friends.
