Love it here! Got a great pair of shoes and a jacket here that I like. Solid brands and service was great too.

The zipper on my cabin carry-on had jammed completely and I couldn't get the bag open or closed properly. I brought it in expecting to leave it for at least a few hours if not a day or two. Instead, the person helping me took a look, got to work, and had the zipper unstuck and running smoothly in about 15 minutes while I waited. What really impressed me is that he didn't just fix it, he showed me how to handle it myself if it ever happens again. His technique: overstuff the bag so the fabric draws out and the tension increases around the zipper track, then give the caught area a few firm flicks with the edge of a credit card. The added tension plus the flicking releases the fabric from the zipper teeth. Simple, clever, and the kind of trade knowledge you only get from people who have been doing this for a long time.

I filled out the paperwork on the Internet and mailed the leather bags to their Manhattan shop. I received a call the day the handbags were received. I gave a credit card number to repair both bags for $150 and $35 shipping and handling. I was told the bags would be returned to me within two weeks. The bags were returned by FedEx and have a glossy luster and shine now. The black bag looks like new and the white is better but not perfect.

I like the watches and they make some really nice leather bags and accessories. I do have one favorite piece. I purchased a wallet that is very well made. I've used it many years daily and it has held up beautifully. It's soft leather that's comfortable to hold. It's got the credit card holder and two zipper pockets that are very convenient. I'm giving Fossil Four Stars. It's pricey but beautiful merchandise. This store is beautiful. The employees let me browse to my hearts content. Fossil is more than watches. Visit when you're nearby. I dare you to leave without buying something.

Went to this store today to browse for a watch. A la the cult favorite animated show Animaniacs,…read moreit's time for another Good Idea, Bad Idea. Good idea: Friendly employees Bad idea: Like, 20 friendly employees Good idea: Well-priced watches for the quality they are ($65-$110 for most) Bad idea: $25 for each interchangeable plastic strap?! I know those cost 50 cents to make in some "developing" country Good idea: Central location in Times Square (SW corner of 48th and Broadway) Bad idea: Location means very little square footage, which means a cramped space to move around in Good idea: Stylish watches Bad idea: Stylish watches with rotating rims which have no function other than aesthetics, or with face and hand colors so similar that the time is unreadable Good idea: Generosity and patience with letting customers try on multiple watches Bad idea: All the counter surfaces are glass so I was terrified I would drop a watch on them by accident Good idea: Interchangeable straps on a lot of watches Bad idea: Some straps are too big for small wrists, and they won't punch extra holes in the plastic bands in the store, which effectively adds another $10 to the watch price for going to a jeweler to do it. The tie score here should really give this place three stars, but since I'm probably going to end up buying a watch here, four stars it is. It's an elegant store and the watches are gorgeous.
