Prior to checking out, I checked the price of the strap and capo online to see if I could get it cheaper and I was quite shocked to see they were the same price. I purchased everything there. Aside from musical string instrument sales they offer lessons from professional instructors but its not cheap. The one hour private lesson is $180.00 or a discounted four sessions of lessons for $550.00. Took my 15 year old son here last week to get a new snare drum. We came all of the way from Miami…read morebc we wanted to talk to someone who really knew what they were talking about and not just a chain store trying to sell us an expensive drum (snares can run from $75 - $1,000's). The owner, Jeff really knows his stuff. It was obvious that my son and weren't that educated in snares - sizes, materials, finishes, sound, etc. He immediately showed my son one of the snares that I had found in my advance research as a good quality, buy. He talked to my son about the difference between this one and more expensive ones, explained the materials and sound in this snare compared to others, how it is made, it's market history, etc. Jeff wasn't high pressure at all. He made his recommendation, demonstrated the snare, then set up a drum kit with the snare for my son to try it out himself. We wandered the store for a little while longer with no interference from him. His price was a little higher than online prices, but Jeff gives a 3 year warranty on the drum (which is at least 2 years longer than most). He threw in an upgraded drum key and a quick lesson on how to properly tune a drum. If you're looking for an expert, personable, low pressure, drum equipment sales experience, then be sure to check out Resurrection Drum. We definitely will be returning for future purchases.

I had such a hurtful experience at ProMusic Plus. We recently moved to Weston and my 7-year-old son…read morewas eager to resume his piano lessons. We searched the web for a nearby music school and came across ProMusic Plus in Weston. However, the excitement diminished into hurt this past Friday, five minutes into the lesson my son started complaining that he wasn't feeling well and wanted to go home. The manager/owner said sorry he is not well, but I already paid the instructor for the 30 minutes and will not be able to refund or reschedule his lesson. When she realized I wasn't backing down from this unfair policy, she said I don't want any trouble so I will refund you 1/2 for the session. She missed the point entirely! This customer service experience was hurtful and disappointing as I felt like she wasn't sympathetic to the fact that my son wasn't well, instead she was annoyed that she was losing money for the session. As a fellow business owner, I know how vital it is to provide a fantastic customer experience to all customers. Sadly, the owner of ProMusic Plus doesn't feel the same.
