I must undergo major surgery to use areas that he injected. I recall under anesthesia the pain they actually woke up to under anesthesia when they shot through a bone. With all the respect for dr Otten who works there and other staff, I have to say that it was very disappointing for me when I went there for my procedure to hear that the price has been gone up despite of agreement on the price on the day of consulting without any notification beforehand. Went here in January, heard they were good. Had a real boutique-style, personalized service with great staff, Dr Otten was amazing, great results on the procedure of PRP for my ankle. Yesterday I went for a stem cell consult for my neck. The front desk didn't have a working computer, I got checked in about 15 mins after I arrived; then had to do a whole new set of paperwork, instead of a patient update for the neck. The appointment took over an hour, but the place looked empty. The employees in back were having inappropriate conversations I could hear from my examination room. Dr Mohajer asked me what was wrong, I said "radiculopathy with parasthesia presenting primarily on my L hand and forearm, but bilateral numbness, from whiplash in my accident creating the annular tears and possibly the extruded disc creating stenosis is exacerbating the issues?" He questioned me about my being over 40 and not on heart, cholesterol or thyroid medication, as though I looked unhealthy? He barely listened to me say that I'm having difficulty with maintaining the same volume of work with my clients due to pain and how that's affected my ability to provide for my two kids as a single mom. He said I wasn't a candidate and I needed to find an ortho to do "pain injections" which I had to get him to clarify were corticosteroid shots and then said I needed surgery and go find a different doctor to help. He was completely rude, disinterested, and condescending. Never once did he speak to me in a manner consistent with my level of knowledge. I left the office so angry and disappointed., I cried the whole way to work. Pouya, you're a D*CK! Learn how to talk to patients! It's been 20 years of your practicing medicine, you can't get your ego out of the way for 5 mins to be compassionate or kind!? You're unprofessional and if I knew they would do something about it, I would complain to the medical board. You're just another crappy doctor in a sea of half a$$ Vegas doctors. It was five years ago that I was attached by a pit bull dog in my neighborhood. I have undergone; chiropractic care, massages, numerous steroids injections, nerve burn on both sides of lower back, plus hip replacement. I've had a hip problem for a few years and am an avid runner. My MRI showed early arthritis and a labrum tear. I've been told all sorts of options: surgery, cortisone, don't run etc from doctors. I was diagnosed with osteoarthritis in both hip joints in 2018. After trying rehabilitation for several month with no improvement in pain levels, I sought out a provider specializing in stem cell treatment. After discussing my diagnosis and treatments with Dr. Otten during a comprehensive consultation, I decided to undergo the adipose procedure in April 2019 for both hips. At the time of the procedure, I would rate my pain level (1-10) an 8 while standing, a 6 laying down and 5 walking. Pain was constant and debilitating. After undergoing the procedure as an outpatient, I was back to normal activities within a week. Pain levels started to decrease after 30 days and significantly after three months. Six months after the procedure, I returned to Cellaxys for a follow-up PRP procedure. Currently, I would rate my pain levels at mostly 0 for standing, laying down and walking. POST PROCEDURE , 2 months. NO PAIN DURING!! Did stem cell on 1 shoulder and PRP on the other since it was not as bad. at 4 weeks, I was able to do push ups (100s, since I still train) for the first time in 5 years, and painfree. The rotator cuff and front of shoulders issue resolved. I had quit push ups all together for years. I can reach behind me easily and have alot more range. I did total knees(patellar tendon too), the right knee is like new, a teenagers. Squatting at 8 weeks and jump roping again!! The left knee is 50% better so far. Both the stem cell injections and the PRP injections have worked. pains are gone and im able to workout heavy daily vs minimal and many exercises I couldnt do. I would do it just for pain relief , if one is not athletic. I did have to take 1/2 of a prescribed pain med that Dr. Otto gave me every 12 hrs for 4 days due to the pains around stomach area of stem cell extraction, it is like a mini lipo . The patellar tendons due get very tight with the volume of injections, keep that in mind. I definitely recommend 7 days of home rest post procedures. read more
