When we walked into the store we were excited to see the amazing selection of goods they had. This shop had an incredible selection of Alex and Ani bracelets as well as a ton of other accessories. The only issue we had with this store was the fact that the staff seemed a bit guarded and made us feel uncomfortable as we shopped. It seemed like we were being watched the whole time we were in the store which is always a huge turn off for me. In the end, we loved the selection, but we're a huge fan of the service.

When my 11 year-old knocked over a small sign on the floor, she sighed in disbelief and immediately came over to pick it, all the while shooting nasty looks at the kids. When she picked up a bracelet and exclaimed, "Oh, it's a pretty bracelet!" Diane made sure to tell her, "And it's an 80 dollar bracket!" as is it's too expensive for her. When I asked to see the manager, Mark came out and simply gave me his card and said, "I'm sorry." It's a shame a Diane's dislike for children lost the store $300 in sales. Can't be the first time they treated guests like that. Over priced garbage and even worse customer service.

They try to stiff me but I will just browse and walk out" like any other broke tourist. The owners have smiles to kill. There is NO WAY you can walk out without feeling warm and happy. The place just makes you HAPPY. And for a "tourist not trappy" just honest "small town vintage feel" the place is full of really lovely things Cape Cod, or just local. LOVE THIS PLACE. Sisters/owners Samantha Leonard and Corrie Mays are incredibly gracious and welcoming. It seems to be taking on the original "vibe" of the store when it opened. Jessica was also incredibly helpful. Samantha and Corrie really seemed interested in honest customer feedback. It was a delight to spend time talking with them! I was even offered a small bottle of Spring Water. What a fabulous touch. If I could give more than five stars, I definitely would!! I posted several photos earlier this evening. Previous: The Plum Porch has been my favorite gift/accessory shop on Cape Cod for countless years. Whenever I am in the area, I try to stop in. The salespeople are friendly and welcoming. They seem to update their merchandise regularly. I especially like the selection of unique baby gifts and jewelry. I never feel rushed in the store and I also don't feel pressured to make a purchase.

Called again at 5 weeks and still not done so I picked it up. Was exactly how I left it 5 weeks ago with the replacement material still sitting on top. I only wished they had told me they were not able to complete a simple repair when I brought it in and saved me the time. I went on line and was very impressed not only by the wonderful, tasteful offerings, but also seeing that Cathy models all of the clothing herself, instead of a model half her age! How nice is that? It's so refreshing to see the clothing modeled by a woman who is about my age! I ordered 2 maxi dresses with ruffled collars, Aqua Lane and the Black and Beige. I am full-figured and was apprehensive to order them thinking they may be too clingy, but I took the chance and they are just perfect! I ordered size 1X. I wore one of the dresses to a family event and received so many compliments! The ruffle collar is pretty and feminine, but most of all so comfortable, especially with the side slit. For me wearing this dress with a pair of Spanx (my favorite is Talbot's....they are very comfy and slip on easily), made me feel shapely and confident.
