My husband had a brand new iPhone and the screen needed replaced. They replaced on 5/19 it very quickly... for $450 (not including tax.) He didn't know until after the fact that it was an aftermarket screen and not an actual Apple screen. But he put a really solid case on it to prevent any damage and thought nothing of it until 8/23 when he took his phone out of his pocket and saw his screen had gone white inexplicably. No drops, no falls, nothing. Despite my objections, he took it back to this business. He was told it's 10 days over the 90 day warranty so they're going to charge him for another screen replacement, but THIS TIME it will be an actual Apple product, and the employee would knock $50 off for him being so understanding or whatever. Great. Wonderful. Perhaps it's malfunctioning because the screen was aftermarket when it wasn't supposed to be? The employee called their boss who insisted this damage only happens with impact. Couldn't be a problem with previous installation of a trash item that isn't supposed to be on that phone to begin with, of course not. So we'll be out roughly $900 at this point. Should have just taken it to the actual Apple store instead. At least we'd know they're reputable. My husband came home to get the credit card, leaving his phone with the employee. When he got back to the business, the employee was visibly upset and very apologetic. When they were replacing the screen, some kind of crucial wire or piece (I don't remember the exact details) was cut, and they wouldn't have a replacement until Monday afternoon. Husband asked how this is going to affect the price, employee said they might be able to knock another $20 off, but their boss would be upset since there was already one discount in the works. My husband is a patient man, calm to a fault. He accepted this turn of events because really what other choice does he have? I, on the other hand, am absolutely raging. I was already skeptical about this business to begin with, and they're just proving how utterly incompetent and greedy they are. A while later, my husband got a call from the same employee saying someone at another store in Steubenville has this replacement part, and they would run it to Bridgeport when their store closed at 1800. Said my husband would be able to pick his phone up at 1845. Total charge today was $480 including tax, as they did knock that originally discussed $50 off. In summary, save yourself some money and a headache. Do not take your electronics here. They'll botch the job and just cause further damage and inconvenience. read more

Went in for an iPhone 15 Pro screen replacement. I was desperate for it to be done quick and "cheap". I called and asked "is this OEM (Apple official screen)?" right off the get go and I was assured yes. Took it in, had it replaced, FOR $429!, and ~30 minutes after I left I noticed a warning in settings that the screen is not an Apple genuine part. I also have larger bezels on the screen than I had before but didn't notice at first. The screen dims brightness, washes out colors in HDR, and often has phantom touches not even 2hrs after replacement. I called Apple before and after I called Cell It Here back, and they said they could handle it. I was essentially lied to by (what I assume to be) the owner of the business since I called after hours. The screen isn't the biggest issue I have, it's the lie I was told. I would understand if I was told it was a 3rd party screen or not from Apple themselves. Instead I was lied to and assured that Apple was the ones deceiving me in essentially. I'd avoid this shop at all costs. I had a laptop fixed in July. The power button was broken so they said they had to solder it back together. After $150 the button didn't have anymore "resistance" and guarantee my computer to turn on. It is now March and my laptop doesn't function, after taking it to a new shop I was told the issue was created bc of damage that happened during the soldering. When I called Cell it here to explain the damage I was transferred to three separate people. The third guy who I was told was the one who soldered did not listen to what I was saying, got rude with me when I corrected him, and told me there is nothing they can do but "work with me" on selling me a new laptop. Unless you want to spend $150 to have your electronics damaged beyond repair - I suggest looking elsewhere. read more

I dropped my i-phone, cracked the screen. I found this place which was nearby, in about 10 minutes they replaced my screen. When I got home I realized my Touch ID and my Home buttons were not working. I went back the next day, they said it's because my phone was "about ready to go bad" and can't do anything about it. Huh? My boyfriend and I both went to very our screens fixed about three months ago and month later his screen started falling off.. being able to upgrade he did it instead. Recently, my phone screen started falling off as well. Thinking that it definitely wasn't a coincidence I chose to go to a different shop who brought it to my attention that MULTIPLE screw were missing which is what caused my screen to fall off. My phone was stolen. Someone asked me if they could use my phone while they went in to take to their mother about a phone he had getting repaired. I first thought something was up when it began to take a while ans came to the door. The man I let use my phone quickly pushed me out the door and gave me some excuse that he would be in a hurry. But I figured hey, he doesn't have my password. I was w him long enough to KNOW he didn't have an ID so I thought hey. He can't sell my phone. You have to have an ID to do so. Well I was wrong. When he came back out he said he still needed to use my phone SND directed me back towards downtown wheeling. I soon figured out they somehow let him sell my phone without my password nor unlocking my iCloud. Shady business. Right from the get go. I was punched in my face the man tried to grab the steering wheel SND ram us off thr road. Proceeding to try SND strike me many more times. I went back to the store proceeded to ask them why they would let him sell an iCloud locked phone w a passcode on it. SND asked to use a phone to call the police. They denied me. So I went to the police. Filed a report. Took months. Even when the courts said I could get my phone back the owner refused became very combative SND accused me of working w the man who stole my phone SND illegally sold to them. Lol. The irony. STAY AWAY FROM THIS SHADY BUISNESS. oh, I finally got an iPhone back. But it wasn't MY iPhone that was originally stolen. Instead it was a broken iPhone that didn't even turn on. I was so done w the situation I didn't even check before I left the store after he asked me to never come back. Don't do business w this shady place that practices illegal methods of business. FxxK this place , and the owner who is clearly shady Asf & also was VERY rude Asf when he clearly saw the big red lump on the side of my face from swelling when I was hit. There are many other options for cellular needs in the area, I'm telling you DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE. They overcharge, I've had a phone screen fixed improperly before SND they even fixed my broken glass back with a different color than the front. this place is a joke! they tell you your phone is no good when you take it in for repair and then try to sell you one of thier p.o.s phones and they steal info from the device they are 'fixing'' and try to make accounts in places. they steal photos, heaven forbid you have personal stuff. they told me my samsung a32 was broken nothing i could do and the phone they sold me was an iphone 6s and get this they charged me over 400 dollars!!! these people are something else please beware!!!! read more
