DO NOT GIVE THIS SHOP YOUR PHONE!!!…read more My girlfriend brought her iPhone 14 to this shop to have the battery replaced. The phone had always been kept in a case and, to her knowledge, had never been dropped or exposed to water. There was no crack on the phone when she brought it in. After picking up the phone, she noticed that the camera was not working properly and that the front camera appeared to have a smudge or obstruction. She returned to the shop the very next morning to report the issue. At that point, she also noticed a sharp crack on the top-right corner of the phone (attached image). This crack was not there when she brought the phone in, and the phone had remained in a hard shell case for the past 4 years. Naturally, she was very concerned about how the damage had appeared. What was especially concerning was that the shop never mentioned any crack or damage when she dropped off OR picked up the phone. When she called the next morning, one of the first questions she was asked was whether she had dropped the phone which was a weird question to ask before she even mentioned any of the issue. When she returned to the shop, they claimed that she had dropped the phone, cracked it, and then somehow exposed it to water, resulting in water damage. She did not drop the phone or expose it to water within such a small time frame. She also asked about documentation of the phone's condition when it was dropped off and was told that the shop does not take before-and-after photos. So there is no documentation from the shop showing that the crack or other damage was present before the repair. She brought the phone in for a battery replacement and immediately afterward had a non-working camera, a smudged front camera, and a new crack that was not there when she dropped the phone off. The fact that the shop did not document the phone's condition and did not disclose the crack when she picked it up is extremely concerning. She is now disputing the charge and possibly filing Consumer Complaint with Virginia AG because she does not believe the damage occurred before she brought the phone in. If you use this shop, I would strongly recommend taking detailed photos and videos of your phone--including all four corners, the screen, cameras, and back--before handing it over for any repair. Or better, just save yourself and your phone from any headache and avoid this place at all cost.

A water treatment guy came to my house for maintenance and i asked him if he knew of anybody for cell repair. He pointed me to Alibaba's after a good experience he had there. Alibaba is very nice and personable. He gave me a quote to replace the screen. I accepted. A little later it was determined that the new screen would actually cost more but he kept the price the same. He told me he had the new screen in stock and he would call me later on the day with a status. He called me. The new screen did not work but he said sometimes nes screens are defective. He ordered a new screen which came the next day. He called me to let me know he installed the 2nd new screen and that i could pick it up anytime. I did an hour later. The phone was in great working condition. He did not budge on his original price. I will definitely take any repairs to Alibaba's again in the future and spread the word to anybody else i need. We have been using AJs for many years. For a long time, I could not get my small engined items (lawn mower, chain saw, snow blower) to work reliably after a few years. AJ's service ended all that, and we've never looked back. AJ's primarily services commercial contracts with fleets of equipment - and you know they wouldn't do that unless AJ is both good, timely, and cost effective. He is all those. As such, there are times, particularly in the spring, when these large commercial customers are gearing up, that AJ has to put off individual customers. We understand that, and tell everyone, he is worth the wait. As with many things in life, advance planning can go a long way. If you need your furnace in winter, look at it in summer. If you need your lawn equipment in summer, maybe call AJ in winter when he's less busy. You just can't beat someone this good, who goes to you. Wheels your non-working machine into his work trailer, and fifteen minutes later, rolls it out good as new. And hands you a small bill. Whatever the bill - coming to my location, getting me running, is HUGE. Highly recommend, and you can safely ignore Steve L. and Chad S. who obviously have no idea what they're talking about.
