You have to be Hulk Hogan to open or close it. I tried WD-40, vacuuming the track, cleaning every aspect of it, and it was still a nightmare to use (and incredibly loud). I scheduled an appointment with Richardson Glass for this morning (11/3) between 10-12. The called before their arrival, and they even came 30 minutes early. That is amazing since nearly every other company I deal with either never shows up or shows up incredibly late. We were already off to a good start. I'd say within 20-30 minutes our sliding glass door was gliding with the push of a finger seamlessly!!!! Years of agony and Richardson Glass fixed the issue in half an hour. They installed new rollers, and they worked perfectly. I was worried I would have to change the entire frame and window (as another company alleged), and for less than $300, Richardson Glass fixed my problem immediately and saved my door. Mike and Franky were the techs that worked on our issue, and they were an absolute pleasure to deal with. I will recommend Richardson Glass to everyone I know in the future. Thank you!!

We live in a 17 yo home and was leery about the hardwoods matching up, but Sam assured us it could be done. We had the carpet taken out of our master bedroom and office and replaced with hardwood. Both of these rooms butt up to existing hardwood so it was imperative that it looked seamless. They did an unbelievable job on the floors and were done in such a timely manner. The price was amazing considering it wasn't much more than it would have been to replace with carpet. Thrilled with our results and hoping to do more projects soon.

This review is for their mobile auto glass repair…read more I was referred to Sportsman Glass by my insurance company for my busted car window. I called on a weekday afternoon and they had the window delivered and installed the next morning. Now that is what I call service. Plus they came to my residence and replaced the window in my driveway. My only issue is when I close the door with the replacement window, it rattles and the installer told me it's tiny bits and pieces of glass that couldn't be vacuumed out. He said the pieces will eventually drop out through small holes at the bottom of the door molding. This hasn't happened yet. A little annoying especially on a luxury car.

I ordered custom-sized and -cut glass (they measured and cut it) to complete a bathroom project. It…read morewas set up as pay-on-delivery. When they delivered the glass to my house, it was the completely wrong size. So I complained to the guy who delivered it (one of their employees) and he said "I'll have to call the owner." So he called (right then and there!) and, apparently, the owner (name rhymes with "Larry Sheever") wasn't too thrilled. "Larry" refused to "return" or redo the glass and told the delivery guy to leave the glass here and go. I could see nothing would get accomplished with the delivery driver, so I went down to their store in-person (I didn't bring the glass because it wouldn't fit in a car). "Larry" met me at the entrance and started yelling and making threats: "Who doya think you are! You BETTER be here to pay your bill! You received the glass you ordered!" "It's the wrong size." "You sent us the measurements!" "No, your guys came out and did the measuring." "NO THEY DIDD-INT!" "Yes, they did." [IT'S LIKE TALKING TO A SIX-YEAR-OLD.] After more back-and-forth, I told "Larry" I'd give them a bad review ("Go ahead, like it f---ing matters to us!"). He then threatened to "blacklist" my name with other local glass companies so I wouldn't be able to get my order made elsewhere! In all this dealing with "Larry Sheever," I kept my cool--but barely. I left, paid the bill on my credit card (my wife had to call the card number in to "Larry's" wife because they don't/didn't have ANY other payment options), then waited a few weeks for the credit card statement to generate. I promptly reported the $290 charge as fraud and now I'm leaving this review. Sportsman Glass never responded or followed up with me, but I did get my money back through Visa. If these guys aren't the worst mom-and-pop business in Collin County, I don't know who is.

But I'm here to save you a lot of time, I recommend contacting Plano Shower Door for your first estimate! They are a hard act to follow when you start comparing prices, customer service, quality products, communication, and long-term service. In addition, he lets you select (from a brochure) the shapes, colors, and sizes of hinges, door handles to ensure the "look" matches your decor. BONUS: a warranty is included with your purchase that is issued to the address, not the homeowner and this means $$$ when you sell your house! No other glass company I talked to provided this kind of customer service! Cheers to the journey, my friends.

The total came to around $5,500. Julie came to the house several days later to do the measurements & at that time she didn't advise them of when the drapes would be ready for install... okay cool, because it's difficult to estimate when that vendor will have the product ready. On the day of the install she called to advise us that the installer was having an issue at the customer's house before us & couldn't make it that day. Okay cool, totally understand. The guy doing the install came on 8/13/24 & arrived 15 minutes before she told us that he would be there which we appreciated. During his work process, he discovered that the measurements on one of the two sets of drapes was off by 1 ¼ inches & advised my parents that he would need to have it sent to the seamstress & should have it back in about a week. Okay, so Julie screwed up when doing the measurements... no biggie... we're all human. Here's where my complaint comes into play... now you would think that since my parents were dealing directly with the owner of the business that she would have called my parents to apologize for the inconvenience, right?!?! Nope... no phone call or even a text message from her. So today * 8/22/24 * I asked my mother if Julie had contacted them with an update. Nope. No attempt at communication. Now my parents are both 79, have a passive personality, & do everything possible to avoid confrontation so knowing this, I knew that I needed to take over the situation. I called Julie at 4:15 & was told, "Oh the guy is coming to install the drapes tomorrow!" I replied, "umm... TOMORROW?!?! Don't you think you should have contacted us to let my parents know?!?" "Oh yeah, I guess I should have called." "Julie, are you serious? So, if I hadn't called you today then the guy would've just showed up tomorrow to do the install & what if we weren't home?!?!" At this point, I let it be known via the tone of my voice that I was aggravated. She stutters & tells me she's driving & doesn't feel comfortable talking to me on the phone while driving. I told her that tomorrow wouldn't work for us since we have several appointments & that she needed to call me back so we could discuss this further. It is now 5:10 & she hasn't called or texted me yet. I know this is long & I apologize, but I felt I needed to provide all the details so that the people reading this understand why I'm saying that Julie's lack of customer service & appreciation is pathetic. My parents spent $5,500 of their hard earned money with Julie & she cannot make a slight effort to ensure that my parents were satisfied customers?!?! So, IMO, if you have a busy schedule & you value your time, do not do business with this place.
