I'm writing this review about a year later after our 2 sessions. After getting laid off from my…read morecorporate job of a high position, losing my girlfriend, dog and a list of other atrocities I was lost and broken in my life. I was willing to do whatever it took to get back on my feet after numerous attempts at therapy whether it was through my insurance provider or private practice. I was a bit skeptical at first about hypnotherapy and life coaching because of the heavy price tag attached but here's what happened. We had a counseling session to see what was going on in my life and how we could go about regaining my clarity and confidence. She helped me realize that there was a lot of past trauma that I had to forgive myself coupled with the bitter truth that my self-destructive tendencies may not have been my fault but is ultimately my responsibility to address. I'm not too sure if the hypnotherapy programmed my subconscious that allowed me to take more action in my life than floating around. The month after our sessions I made more progress in regaining my health by choosing healthier foods and cutting out smoking. I also found a new hobby of swing trading and opening myself up to diversifying and growing my wealth from my savings, severance check and Unemployment Benefits. I ended up doing extremely well as I was confident in my buying and selling stocks by reading trends in the market and a little bit of intuition in the tech industry. Even if I was an emotional wreck I didn't let it affect my decision making when it came to trading. After a year later I have made much more progress in my personal development and career. I ended up founding my own marketing business, travel extensively as well as go on to work for other major companies within my career field.

Work wasn't where I wanted it to be, I was trying to figure out my relationship, and I generally felt like I needed to get out of my own way. So I took a leap and went to see Kristine, while still being pretty convinced that hypnotherapy wasn't a real thing and certainly wasn't going to work on me. I did 4 initial sessions with her and something changed. Not because she waved a magic wand or suddenly turned me into a different person. She gave me tools. She helped change my outlook. She gave me confidence, a mantra I could actually use, and a way to keep myself in check when my brain wanted to go in 15 different directions. She helped me understand what actually needed my attention and what didn't. She also opened me up to manifestation and the law of attraction, 2 things I probably would have made fun of not that long ago. And then, shortly after our sessions, work picked up immensely. Other opportunities started showing up. Things in my personal life started becoming clearer. Call it manifestation, call it mindset, call it getting out of your own way. I don't really care what you call it. Something worked. I'm not going to tell anyone that hypnotherapy is magic or that you walk out of Kristine's office and suddenly your entire life changes. You have to be open to it. You have to do some work yourself. And most importantly, you have to believe that the things you want are actually possible for you. Kristine helps light the path. She gives you the tools and perspective to do something with it yourself. A huge thank you to Kristine for her kindness, patience and for helping me realize that a lot of what I was looking for was stuff I already knew deep down was mine to receive. I just needed a little help getting out of my own way.

I researched hypnotherapy a couple of years ago, to help me work on having inner peace and not…read moredepending so much on the external world for my happiness. I spoke to Jonathan and Aila in a consult, and loved their personalities. The method made sense to me. It took me forever to decide, because I was trying to find the "right" hypnotherapist or therapy in general. Then my friend made a really good point and said, why are you waiting and deciding between these therapies--just do it! Keep feeding yourself and adding to your toolkit--you're never going to regret these types of experiences! He was right, and I am happy I listened. I was going through a tough time and met with the Love Gurus in their Hollywood home, with dim lighting and a cozy setting. We spoke honestly about my ideal life, love, goals, and what may be standing in the way of those (past and present). They said many insightful things that put some of my experiences in perspective, to this very day. We did energy work, breathing, and some movement at the end of the session. Then they followed up with homework every week for six weeks. Out of all the books I've read and therapy I've tried to get through the recent challenging times in my life, I have to say that this experience actually gave me the most noticeable shift. I was battling with sadness, feelings of being stuck, indecision, and powerlessness trying to navigate it all. Between the bridging session and the homework after, my mind shifted to a place of control, lifting me out of the previous lead blanket I seemed to be carrying around. We all have those moments that we feel a shift and seem to have moved on from a hurtful situation, or gain power in our lives. This was the experience with Love Gurus. I will add that the homework really solidified the therapy and worked the effects into my everyday life. If you're going to invest in this, then plan to keep up with that, as it makes all the difference. These two are pure love, and we can all hope to have the kind of love that they share...one day. ;)
