The concept is simple: show up, watch the safety video and ride a tiny motor with your foot on the gas like you have no concept of road etiquette. I was particularly thrilled that we got placed on the advanced track that side-winds and offers lots of fun little drifting curves. Aggressive rednecks or not on the track, I had a blast. The pricing gets cheaper the more ten-minute sessions you sign up for, although it starts at $20 per session. For any rookies out there, while ten minutes may not seem like a lot at first, it's plenty when you're two inches off of the ground with a hot little engine under your body. If I'm going to be honest, we were all even a little sore after our ten minute session. The only reason I've allocated four stars here instead of five is my love/hate feels over the service. I could have done without some of the attitude the kids working the track were serving but hey, I probably would have been the same way if I was a high school kid working at a go karting track in St Zotique.

It is in a huge building with lots of room, and they have rooms specifically for the parties. There is a space specifically for feeding babies and also for changing tables. Trampolines, rock climbing wall, bouncy house and the rest of the playgrounds feel like they're five storeys high. Your children are also always secure. They have made sure that their check in and check out procedures have the kids leave with who came with and cannot leave without their guardian present. They have an arcade area and there really is a day's worth of fun available. They even have massage chairs which are to die for. We will definitely be going back with his older brother soon; it's perfect for all ages. We can't wait!

"Driving" the truck, "flying" the airplane, and rolling the giant exercise balls on the second level are favourite activities too. The best part is the large separate snack area they have set aside for their patrons -- kids always get hungry and thirsty, and it is nice to be able to bring in our own lunch to save money and maximize our play time. They also offer beverages and snacks at their cafe. Their nut-free policy definitely gives me piece of mind when bringing my peanut-allergic son here. It can get busy if daycare groups are visiting, but the last Tuesday morning (when adults get in free) we were here, it was quiet and we nearly had the place to ourselves. I just returned home from my 4th visit to Voyageur, the last 3 in as many years, and it's by far my…read morefavourite place to go camping. We stay at Portage campground (there are 4 campground all together), because it's by far the most wooded and private. The lots are huge, and almost completely closed in. It's difficult to hear anyone else unless they are being very loud, which you're not supposed to do. There is a "no excessive noise at any time" rule in place. The lots are so big that we had room for 3 tents (a 3 person, a 4 person and a 6 person tent) plus a 12 x 12 screen house and two cars. We rented two lots as we were a group of 8 people, and put the picnic table from the other lot on ours and still had plenty of space for everyone to move around, set up outdoor games, and sit, distanced, around the fire. I will only plan camping trips here.

There are several paths, some are more magical than others. The Dog path is also the main one, which is about 6 Km of a wonderful shaded trail so even during a blazing sun and a hot day like today we could enjoy the shade, cool forest smells and not break swat. PERFECT. The trail is a good dirt/gravel road that even a good stroll can pass there and is perfect for running. Bonus there are benches and garbage bins along the trails. So what can I do here except hiking ? There are Geocaches, disc-golf, swimming pool (was still closed), running, outdoor sport, soccer 9there is a field, fishing. Bottom line a wonderful well maintained park that is a great solution for a fun and short nature escape.
