My 12 year old was in heaven. He could climb, swing, jump, crawl, and propel himself all under the watchful eye of the wonderful souls in the red shirts. He was perfectly harnessed and they were very explicit in their safety rules. I was able to observe him from the ground in a comfy Adirondack chair with other parents. Some read books, others enjoyed the sunshine. It was a really positive experience. They have a small snack bar which was helpful. It really is a wonderful ropes/obstacle course. They have an inflatable park, but he never made it there since he was having a great time. We will definately go back!

At H2O adventures, you can Kayak, Pedaling, ride the canoes and go on electric boats. We enjoyed Kayaking for 1 hour. The staff helped us to us loaded into the boat, and then we go into the canal. The scenery of the canal Lachine was serene. Plus, Excellent exercise for the arms. I know I don't have upper arms muscles yet, but I do feel slight strong... lol. Definitely recommended, hop on your adventure before the summer ends.

The concept is simple: show up, watch the safety video and ride a tiny motor with your foot on the gas like you have no concept of road etiquette. I was particularly thrilled that we got placed on the advanced track that side-winds and offers lots of fun little drifting curves. Aggressive rednecks or not on the track, I had a blast. The pricing gets cheaper the more ten-minute sessions you sign up for, although it starts at $20 per session. For any rookies out there, while ten minutes may not seem like a lot at first, it's plenty when you're two inches off of the ground with a hot little engine under your body. If I'm going to be honest, we were all even a little sore after our ten minute session. The only reason I've allocated four stars here instead of five is my love/hate feels over the service. I could have done without some of the attitude the kids working the track were serving but hey, I probably would have been the same way if I was a high school kid working at a go karting track in St Zotique.

As a gift to a younger family member, a ziplining day was planned and I asked if I could share the…read moreexperience with everyone. I've ziplined before while on vacation, where we were surrounded by greenery. I thought doing it in the heart of Montreal with MTL Zipline would be a new way to experience it. (I was right). As you read the safety protocols and sign waivers, there are a few screens set up so you can watch videos of other zipliners. You are provided with a helmet and harness, which they confirm is placed properly and securely (it's very comfortable; personally speaking, anyhow). The staff members you meet at every stage are really nice and you don't feel rushed. After this, you walk up several flights of stairs to what I call the "launch point". The harness is attached to the zipline, and in what feels like no time at all- you're flying through the air. The view of the Old Port is beautiful and it's fun to see onlookers below. You want to absorb everything you're seeing, and you do, but it is also over before you know it. It's an amazing experience and I could do it over and over again but I am appreciative of having the opportunity to do it at all! It's a fun experience to share with family and create memories. The price is great too (about $25+ per person and they also offer mini putt packages). I highly recommend it, whether you were born and raised here or simply visiting.

We signed up with a group of friends to go kayaking as a 50$ package offered to beginners with a…read moreshort trip and to catch the fireworks from the water. When we arrived, we signed a waiver, were given a life jacket, a glow stick, paddle and huddled outside for a briefing. An overview of the evening was given and minimal instruction was presented although few raised their hands when asked if anybody hasn't been on a kayak before. Once we got onto our kayaks, we were told to follow the instructor who was leading on a paddle board. The pace was slow and I found it frustrating as I would have preferred if we were told destination or meeting points. After a brief circle near the dock off the Esplanade de Nord park on Nuns Island, we were tied up to watch the fireworks and avoid battling the currents. A radio allowed us to listen in on the fireworks show, and a glass of red wine was offered. The show was great but I believe we were way too far to fully enjoy the show. Once over, we were untied which took a while, and headed back to the dock where we hoisted ourselves out and were asked to pull our kayaks up to the office. Overall, the evening was just okay mostly cause it was nice to have the opportunity to kayak on the Fleuve St/Laurent but I found for the price you paid, you didn't get enough time to actually paddle and the fireworks were way too far to fully enjoy.

However, I wasn't impressed that they were talked out of dressing in full suite to get the entire experience. Driving 6 hours from our home to be told to have less of an experience is disappointing. You get to wear the uniform, helmet and shoes and climb into the simulator. You choose the type of car and the track and off you go. Would have liked to have some other racing related things to do while I waited for the rest of my party to finish their rides. Would go again.
