As a health food vegan, I am always on the lookout for food like this: whole foods/plant-based, including some oil-free options. Their whole menu reads like a list of my favorite food buzzwords: buckwheat, lentil cauliflower scramble, sunflower seed meat, local fermented sauerkraut, freshly milled Sonoran wheat; tempeh, sourdough, homemade seeded bread, homemade cashew milk, etc. etc. It was legitimately hard to decide what to get. I went with the baked(!) strawberry banana oat buckwheat pancakes. Super tasty, and a generous portion. I also couldn't resist an oil-free sunbutter cookie (with its wacky bluegreen tinge that was apparently from the sunflower seeds) and also loved the cold brew coffee with cashew milk.

It is a little pricey, however, it's worth the cost. As I mentioned, everything is healthy and made fresh. You can't get that without paying a bit extra Their bread is so good, the chutney is awesome, their little side salads are so tasty. I haven't tried anything here that I have not loved. They are a small husband and wife run business, which is always great to see. They are very friendly people who clearly love what they do. There's limited seating indoors, as it's inside Barnone, but you can easily find places to sit outdoors as well.

This is an amazing little (well not so little little) shop that includes groceries, gifts, an enormous full wall of every kind of drink you can imagine! There is a sushi bar, a poke bar, a coffee shop, a sandwich shop, pizza place and then so much more!!! And they do not sell guitars! The entire shop is clean, extremely well organized, and so packed with goodies that you can spend a few hours just wondering. They do sell groceries, many of the basics you need. I did some checking of prices and truly, you may pay a few more cents then going down to the local grocery store, but overall...it wasn't that out of whack! Everyone working was friendly and pleasant and open to questions, responding with suggestions and ideas as well as information. What a true gem in the middle of a busy mixed-use space including restaurants and apartments and other event venues. They have a huge patio and we were told it was 100% dog friendly and they are even to welcome to come into the store to shop with their owners, as long as they are well-behaved. Great find and I say go visit! Can't imagine not loving this place!

You can find everything from puzzles to Jeni's Ice Cream in here. Apritopia could not be a better place to have a store like this - higher prices on hipster things in the name of "convenience." I'm a cheapskate so I didn't buy anything, but I did spend a decent chunk of time browsing around. There's a coffee shop, pizza, and sushi too! Definitely a lot to choose from, but the prices are out of my range to justify buying from a "convenience store." I appreciated the overall vibe in the place though. It was bright, clean, and definitely welcoming. We were greeted warmly upon entering and exiting. Very stimulating lol.
