The location on 39th & happy valley has bulbs which are at least 2 years old. I could get a deeper tan with a regular lightbulb.. their beds are also broken down, misters haven't worked in a year, they are totally taking advantage of their customers. read more

Had an amazing experience at this salon. I went in to find out about their Red light therapy, which helps with dark spots, acne scars, and for a more even skin tone. This location is very different than the others. The interior is gorgeous and like a mansion. The beds are also different and top of the line. However, at this location they "time" you to get into the beds, so you only have 5 minutes to put on your lotion before your bed turns on without you. The staff, Brook, who was working there at the time was friendly and knowledgeable! Overall, a good experience. The directions/location on Yelp is off. The store is actually located in the same lot as Discount Tire, not past it. Just fyi: if you like to cover your face when you tan like I do (to prevent wrinkles) the stand up here has a whirlwind/tunnel fan, so you won't be able to. The Redlight bed is also a stand up and is shorter in time (12min) compared to other locations (15min). If you've never tanned at a Celebrity Tanning location before I recommend buying a membership since that's the best deal, the staff will help you pick the one that's right for you. Redlight is a type of light therapy to take away dark spots, marks, old acne scars, (etc) for a more even skin tone. read more

Agree with everyone else this place has turned into a scam with all the fees and dates you have to cancel by is absolutely ridiculous. It is impossible to pay for 1 month of tanning without paying for 3. Will never come here again or recommend this place to anyone. What an awful business practice. read more

My wife came in to get a spray tan last week and was helped by a girl who said she was the new manager. We bought 3 spray tans, and she used one that day. She went to a different location this morning and was told she's unable to use her spray tan until next month on the 5th? No one told us that we had to wait to use one or that we were even signing up for a membership. I feel as though they encourage their employees to sign people up for a membership without telling them, especially if that's what the manager is doing. Gave two stars because she loves the tan, it just makes me question the integrity of the company. read more

I went in for a spray tan for the first time and Malia was extremely helpful! I was hesitant on getting a spray but Malia made sure I was comfortable and gave me all the tips on getting a perfect tan without the orangey look. This locations customer service is awesome! read more

I just moved to the area! I used to go to palm beach tan and since there are none in the area I thought I would try this one. I tried every bed they had a still barely have a tan. I know it's not me because I would get super tan at Palm beach. Looks like I will just have to drive a little further to get a tan at palm beach. Love the girls at this location. Some of them are new but all are friendly and knowledgable about the product they are selling. The beds are always clean and I've never had to wait more than a couple minutes. Once I even was upgraded because the wait would have been like 10 minutes. Other salons don't compete. read more

Honestly I was extremely disappointed at the lakepleasant and happy valley location. I've been to several locations and this had to be the worst. I've been in a few times to this location and everytime I go in the girls are on there cell phones and aren't very pleasant also the beds are never very clean.
