So I have been a paying client for over a year, been to two of the owners shops, bell and union hills. Sunday march 24 I went to union hills to start the day with some tanning and relaxation. I was greeted by the most arrogant self entitled woman child whom actually spoke to me with the most disdain I have ever experienced from a clerk. I asked if the tan beds with the non operational misting sprayers have been fixed? Clerk" I am just filling in here if you have a problem call the customer care line." In a raised and extremely unprofessional voice. It is clear to me that the owners do not care about their clients only making money. One year ago the red light hydraulic arm malfunctioned and fell on my shoulder after repeated reports to the staff about the danger of failing hydraulic suspension arms, after the incident the machine was finally put to rest and 4 months later a new machine brought in. No one contacted me after the incident. I have called customer service and left a message , I don't expect any response but will be cancelling my subscription. In addition the shop is a complete pig sty dust bunnies hair and dead skin piled up behind the machines! BUYER BEWARE read more

I wanted to try a new tanning salon so I decided to stop by celebrity today around 4 and the girl that helped me was the ABSOLUTE best she signed me up on a membership gave me a full store tour and went through all of the lotions and how they would benefit me. I wish I remembered her name... she had dark hair and a tiny little body definitely recommend her if you want a perfect tan!! read more

Went in today to union hills location. The gal running the place was such a sweet heart. Kind personality amd good customer service. Only 4 stars I felt the stand up tanning area i went into was old and dirty. For a place that is going to have people naked for those who tan naked... It should be a whole lot cleaner. If I could give zero stars here I absolutely would... It's really disappointing that after years of being a member at celebrity tanning at this location, I was treated so poorly today. I highly recommend looking into the way your customers are treated. I will never come back here and I will make sure that all my family members and friends ice referred here also go elsewhere. So disappointed in the way I was treated after routinely paying high dollar amounts for sunless and UV tanning. After I asked her to call her supervisor, she went to the back and never let me speak to her. Hopefully someone in charge has the decency to give me a call. read more

I continue to spend the extra money for the beds that Celebrity offers. If you have been to other tanning places around the valley, you know, beds make all the difference! From bulbs out or not the right angles of lamps, facial tanners too bright, etc. You can end up with some weird marks and spots without the proper bed. The service at this location has been the best so far of all 4 locations I have tanned at. I even requested to speak with the manager about an issue I had and she was very friendly and responsive and valued my business enough to accommodate me. (I mean, I did drop like $200 in one day, but...) I pay for the auto debit monthly plan for the best beds but I feel like that's the best value and assortment of beds. It's $69 a month. Their lotions are of course, the best most expensive ones, but again, they promote skincare and healthy tanning so again, if you have made a choice to use tanning beds, than you'll want to buy the best lotions to protect and nourish your beautiful bronzey bod! The bed I use is the Diamond level Room 1 and it's the best! It feels like you are in a spa/club! There's music, lighting, ergo contour shoulder and facial tanners plus voice guides. It's insane. I never want to get out when my 10 minutes is up!! Keep it up Celebrity. Your staff and product is great!! read more

Celebrity tanning accidentally over billed me on my first month. I was supposed to get 50% off as a new member and they billed me full price. For three full weeks I emailed and left voicemails fo4 both Ashley (manager)and Natalie (General Manager) and neither of them ever called me back. The poor sweet gals in the salon told me there was nothing they could do to help and that only Natalie or Ashley could assist with the over billing. Beginning of the 4th week I left a bad review on Google, and surprise, surprise Ashley called me the next day. She said that because of the inconvenience they would only charge me $20 for my next month (should have been the 50% rate of $39.65). I was actually satisfied and thought it was nice for them to issue a discount since they ignored me for 3 weeks (I'm not that difficult to please). Unfortunately, I looked at my credit card statement and they charged me $39.65. .....Also, they make you do auto-pay, and now I know why, because you can't dispute your charges because they won't even return your calls or emails. I'm most likely going to file a complaint with the Arizona Better Business Bureau. I can easily find another place to tan. I feel really bad for the girls in the salon because they were so nice to me, but were so embarrassed after 3 weeks of their managers not contacting me. read more

I've been tanning with Celebrity for years! I just moved so I started using this location a few months ago and it's been great! The customer service is great! One thing I really appreciate is the staff members really make an effort to remember every customers name. And of course the beds are the best in the valley! I will never tan anywhere else because I've tried and never received as good of prices, beds or service! read more

Friendly staff, even tho I've been coming here almost weekly for at least 6mo and not one of them remembers my name yet. Definitely keep the acrylics cleaner than the last place I went. Tops of the laydowns always seem to have a layer of dust tho. Tanning prices are decent, but the lotions are outrageous. At least they're not pushy trying to sell them. I love this company, and specifically this location! Every employee is so sweet and helpful, the beds are always clean and I almost never have to wait for a bed. I've been to 3 locations, and this is closest to my house but also my favorite location. I like it here so much I often consider applying for a part time job! Every time I come in to tan the beds are always dirty and I have to wait for the girls to clean it when they've been just standing there on their phones instead of doing the job they are paid to do. I have frequently been left without tanning goggles or a towel which they have in the store and are supposed to provide to every customer. The manager is very unorganized, has poor communication and vocabulary skills, and regularly says "I don't know", "umm", and carry's herself in an unprofessional manner. They are constantly changing their "policy's" and never communicate the changes with clients until the customer complains. The store regularly has dirt, grim, and sticky spots on the floor, hair, dirt, sweat, and lotion on the beds, and lotion splatters on the walls. Underneath the acrylic on the tanning beds are disgusting and hasn't been cleaned for months. read more

I've been going to Celebrity Tanning for over 2 years now they're very accommodating, the price are fair, and the staff are really friendly! I would have gave it 5 stars but it needs a good cleaning... Very dusty. Other than that I would recommend coming. read more

This mystic tan equipment at this location is very old. The machine is very loud and does not spray evenly. I have been to other Celebrity locations and have never had a problem with uneven tans. This location should update their equipment or at least have it serviced. read more

I am so beyond words right now with how angry I am at Celebrity Tanning. Your "month to month" offer is complete bullshit. When you state there is no contract and no obligation then charge me for 2 months after I CLEARLY did not pay and did not go THEN tell me even if I cancel I am going to be charged a third month even if I will not be going. How is that "no obligation and no contract?" Terrible business. read more
