I usually use Cathy more often, but whichever is available I'll take 'cause they both are so great. (they do have other hair stylists there and I've heard great things about them! But most people find me crazy to not stick to one hair stylist and that I bounce back and forth between the two!) So often I'll go in there and say "Let's go short, not too short!" and whoever is doing my hair knows exactly when to stop, how many layers to put in, and what to do with the bang/angle situation. I'm really neurotic about my hair overall. Furthermore, I hate when you buy a voucher and then they charge you for 15 other things you didn't know weren't included. Thankfully, we were good on both ends. I love to brag when I am beyond satisfied with something and omg do I love this salon! I never got my stylists name, but from the reviews I am reading, I think it was Mike. (Really friendly Jordanian guy). Anyway, I showed him a picture of what I wanted and he brought out the color swatches. We agreed to a brilliant violet/red color and he went to mix the color. When he first put it on it was HOLY crap purple went to bed with pink, I was freaking out. He said, let it sit, it will get more red. It did. Immediately after he washed it everyone in the salon said, OMG I love your color. I must admit, once he started blow drying, I was in love too. The color was exactly what I wanted. I begged him not to cut too much hair and he didn't. The blow out was awesome. He did a fun curl with a brush and gave it lots of volume, I was very happy. So happy in fact that I bought a blow out package just to look like this again. With the fun violet red 'rock star' color a sexy, full bodied wave, damn, I felt like I could take over the world after I left here! I'm wondering if I shouldn't rave about him as I might not be able to get an appointment next time. HAHA! Seriously, great salon. Everyone was really nice too.
