We ordered pastries and muffins and they were AWFUL. Dry, blah and nothing tasty or pretty. The assorted fruit was pineapple, cantaloupe and honeydew. That was not only bland looking but tasted bland. The bacon was good! ‍Overall, the food was nothing exciting AT ALL. For the amount of money we spent, the food was a D+ at best. Thank god we could bring in our own desserts!! The worst part of this whole event was NO ONE ever contacted us to see how our event was! How were the staff? How was the food? How can we improve? Could we have done anything to make the day better? Etc. etc. ----THAT'S what you do in customer service! A business should follow up. I did try contacting the owners (via googling to find their names), left a message and again, NO RESPONSE. WOW. They took the money and ran!! So, on that note, I will not recommend this place to anyone. The event coordinator was very firm the entire time---you can't do this, you can't do that----and EVERY time I talked with her she repeated herself constantly . She kind of took some of the joy out of it. I took one of my friends to see the place (who was hosting with me!) and Stephanie was cold and not the least bit friendly. The acoustics at Parq were clear and audible. Special noteworthy features include ceiling and side lighting. The facility also had to large projection screens. The Parq was perfect for this event. The ambiance was a cross between modern dance club to a wedding reception like environment. It a bit deceiving looking at the building from Highway 183 from the outside as it looked like a big warehouse building, very indistinct. We were assured in writing that the ceilings would be taken care of by the day of my wedding. I asked for updates all year and was told every time "they're not done yet, but don't worry, it will get done by your wedding day," Spoiler: that did not happen Ceilings aside, there were good and bad things about this experience. On the day of the rehearsal, my foot fell through a rotten plank of wood and they immediately remedied that which was amazing. Our advisor was very kind and helpful throughout the experience and answered our endless questions. The day of the wedding, however, our advisor was not scheduled to be working, so he was not there and the only staff who were there had not met us before and, due to a language barrier, had a very tough time communicating our needs. Several things went wrong the day-of like no electricity in the ceremony space, tables and chairs incorrectly laid out (several guests had nowhere to sit), and those ceilings were still unfinished (also wasps live in the insulation and attacked one of my bridesmaids). We brought up these concerns to our advisor and never received a response. Like, for weeks. We followed up. Nothing. Then, we get a check in the mail which IMO was not for enough money, but still no communication. It's like the customer service relationship immediately ends on the day of the wedding. Just bizarre. If they ever fix these ceilings, I'd say book it and ensure that your advisor will be working the day of your wedding.

When you rent out Reunion Ranch (the outside grounds..a whole bunch of acres :) you have the entire place to yourself w/ access to over 41 activities..let me repeat that..YES, 41 activities!! There really was something for everyone one to enjoy..from the babies to the grown peeps! And the Reunion Ranch staff are so organized & kept things flowing so smoothly..even with over 400 attendees! I also really liked how the RR staff would announce over the loud speaker what activity was about to start. Activities Reunion Ranch offered: -tug of war mud pit..yes, complete with a real MUD PIT!! -volleyball courts -canoe & paddle boats -man made little sand beach -maze -horse shoes & washers -miniature golf -zip line -wagon rides -pony rides -obstacle course -teen tower -dunking booth ect ect ect And so many more activities but tooooo many to name & I'm not trying to get carpal tunnel ;) Another thing I give kudos to Reunion Ranch is the food serving line..they have about 6 different serving lines w/ RR staff making the plates & even w/ over 400 people in attendance the wait time was super fast. We had all you can eat barbecue plates & all you can eat Bluebell ice cream cups! There also was cotton candy, popcorn, & snow-cones for everyone to enjoy & for us adults..the libations offered were...sangrias, beer, & wine!! I was a regular at the sangria station!! ;) Reunion Ranch really is a cool place to have a team building event, reunion, or a wedding. My husband insisted on an outdoor wedding, but luckily the trees provided adequate shade. This was actually our second choice of venue, but only because they didn't have a package deal (we had to find a caterer, florist, etc) and it's kind of remote, so we were worried about guests finding it. The dressing rooms have a back door, so I could sneak out to discuss logistics with my partner behind the scenes without looking unromantic.

After that message, we never heard from anyone again. No follow-up call, no acknowledgment of the situation--complete silence. Keeping a full $3,400 while refusing to even reply is unacceptable business practice. If you're a couple researching venues, be very cautious. Verify every refund and cancellation term in writing and assume that once Angel Springs has your deposit, you may never hear from them again if things change. The property is beautiful, but the way they treat customers is not.
