Near the lake, there is a large playground for kids. It has slides, swings, and climbing structures. It's gated which is nice for the kids' safety (but parents/caregivers should still watch their kids!). They also have a splash pad next to the playground. In addition to the playground, there are lots of sidewalks all around to walk on. It's perfect if you want to get those steps in. There is a basketball court, sand volleyball court, dog park, and picnic tables. I saw a sign for occasional community events as well on the bulletin board near the bathrooms. We would love to come back to this park again when in the Dr. Phillips area of town!

I like the new additions like the dog washing station. Always had nice, shaded seats. The place can get pretty muddy in the summer and after a day or two or rain, but that's about the only knock on it. Nothing much fancy and the people are pretty polite. We usually take our small dog to the big side because he gets along better with them and it's never an issue.
