I live in CA and asked for a nice arrangement with roses and spring mix for my mom for her…read morebirthday. The arrangement costed over $100 with delivery. What she received in the arrangement was what appears (from the picture she sent me) a few pink roses, some pink carnations and this big, round Hydrangea of blue and white color. I felt the Hydrangea didn't pair well with the roses and other flowers used in the arrangement. The vase seemed too small for the arrangement as well. I tried to be fair regarding this and called the owner and she did talk with me about this but disagreed with my thoughts. I understand we all have different opinions on things. I will try to post a picture and those reviewing this can decide for themselves. I'm sorry to say I feel disappointed with what my mom received and will not use this florist again.

We went back to NY for a wedding. The site is beautiful for a ceremony. The food is okay and the…read morestaff was nice. My complaint is with management. The bride and groom had to pull out of having the reception at the Silo. Management turned from kind and helpful to rude and disrespectful. He defiantly showed his true colors. We were not allowed to use the inn during the ceremony which made it hard to keep tradition for the bride and groom not to see each other before walking the isle and the bride and groom were charged twice. It was childish behavior of management and unprofessional. I was vary disappointed, but the ceremony was beautiful. The chairs and arch where set up when we got to the site, but we never saw anyone one from management to answer questions for congratulate the bride and groom. I would be carful working with the Silo for any event, but if you are a tough cookie I think you will like the Silo ceremony site.

I was looking for a photographer to take professional pictures of my twin 6 month old…read moregrandchildren. I was referred to Farrell Photo Studio by a coworker who had used them for their engagement photos and family portrait photos. I was extremely anxious thinking that photographing two 6 month old, teething infants was going to be an absolute nightmare. I could not have been more wrong. Shelley, the owner of the company was absolutely delightful and did everything she needed to do to get beautiful shots. Babies can be very hard to work with but Shelley's two assistants, Kamryn & Gavin bent over backwards to keep the babies smiling and happy. When the twins did get cranky, Shelley and her team were so patient, understanding that we had to take a "bottle break" to try and calm them down. We had outfit changes and bottle breaks, and some baby meltdowns but Farrell Photo Studio took their time with our photo shoot. We were not rushed in any way and they took the time to get the great shots. Not only did they make us feel like family, their prices are fantastic!!! I had done some shopping around trying to find the right studio before deciding on Farrell Photo Studio and found that most other studios in this area wanted at least $600.00 for a studio session. The only thing included in that studio session is that you get to pick ONE pose for your package out of all the pictures they may take. Farrell Photo Studio charged me less than half of that price and I received 51 different poses. FIFTY ONE!! You also have the choice of indoor or outdoor sessions, in studio or at your own home. They have tons of props and really do try to accommodate their customers in every way. I JUST finished reviewing my first photo session with Shelley and her team and I am definitely planning our next session. This is a small, family owned local business--not a big chain owned store, so they really do make you feel like a part of their family and they care about their finished product. I'm so glad that I found them and can't wait to do another session!
