Prices have skyrocketed in the past couple of years & I've noticed the quality isn't the same either. Simple shirts cost in the $40 - $50 range & don't hold up well in the wash. Now when they do have sales, they're pretty fantastic. 40% - 75% off in most cases. However, I will say this location stays very neat & organized & the staff are helpful & polite. They actually seem to enjoy their job.

They had some good sales going on and a lot of stuff on clearance. I grabbed several things but fortunately talked myself out of buying them. I saw a really cute quick dry fitness top that caught my eye, but no sale sign or clearance tag. It was reasonably priced for $19.99, but I'm always looking for a deal. I checked oldnavy.com and not only was the top on sale, but they also have a code for an extra 20% off, making it $11.20! I asked a nearby salesperson if they were on sale in store since I saw a better price online. She told me they were regular price, but that they will match online pricing. Win! And they did at the register with no problem. I just showed her the item in my cart and she marked it down.. easy peasy. It was also super easy to pickup my online order. I showed my email confirmation and she located the bag and I was on my way. Friendly employees, great deals and a clean store. I'd definitely return.

You can shop for housewares, local foods, boutique clothing and jewelry, toys, Lake Life and Lake Norman local gifty items, like tshirts, pillows, tea towels, etc. There is so much to look at here, and trust me, you will find something you love! The staff there is very friendly and the store is so well stocked. The prices are very fair compared to other boutique style stores, but I'd say the Village Store has the biggest selection of home and gift items in the Lake area. They have begun putting out their fall decor, and they really have some beautiful displays during the Christmas season. I really enjoy shopping here.

Thank goodness it wasn't my kids birthday party. i brought my laptop to work but it turns out that youre not allowed to use the outlets. the manager quickly came over and said that it must be unplugged because it's a "kids place". Despite being tucked away and cord going from the table to the outlet and nothing on the floor. This "kids place" is obviously "OK" to have electrical cords stretched to the walls for the arcade games. I really felt targeted by her and got a real sense of racism from her enforcement. No WiFi. No wristbands to make sure kids don't leave with the wrong adults. I will never come back to this location.
