She starts you with some questions and give you 2 papers to sign during consultation and a book to look at of lash design you want. Kanon takes about 15-20 mins cleaning your lashes and eye area before applying the individual lashes which I am extremely impressed with and wish more lash salons would do that. She's also very accommodating! She lets you know about the condition of your lashes before and while applying. Her technique is very natural. Although I'm use to the more dramatic look, she definitely gives the natural look a beautiful flare and the lashes really do stay on after a shower and face wash because of the prep and cleaning she does to them beforehand. She's definitely your goto gal for an all natural look and longevity of it!

I get compliments on them all the time, as they have that real look to wonder..is it real... or is it...extensions? And that's how I like them. There are dozens of styles and looks you can go for though, and Jessica can help. I guess its time to share my secret. I have stick straight lashes and always wear eyeliner and mascara, like the typical girl ... and sometimes curl my lashes multiple times a day. It gets old, and everyday I get raccoon eyes some part of the day somehow....lol. I've always seen people with eyelash extensions and yeah they look great, but "I am not going to pay THAT much for THAT".... well let me tell you, you are wrong. So wrong, that I turned two of my friends into frequent goers too. It is one of the best beauty investments I've made! Say goodbye to eyeliner and mascara and time putting those things on. I just wake up feeling glam :) I've been going to Jessica for a solid 6 months now, and I have had the best experience! She really listens to the style you want, but also gives her expert opinion on what would work well with your specific lashes. Everybody's lashes are different (length, number of them, sensitivity) so going to an expert is important. You can tell she really cares about you , because she always takes her time with each lash, making sure each one goes perfect. If it isn't perfect, she will fix it and do it again. The result is a flawless look. The lashes are soft and for me they last anywhere from 2-3 weeks before I need a refill. Beyond just professionalism, Jessica is a kind-hearted woman that is full of love. With 1-2 hours on the table, you'll grow to know her as she will get to know you, if that is comfortable with you. Otherwise, just lay down, and relax! Location: in an office suite upstairs on the second floor, tons of parking outside. The inside is cutely decorated, and you are at home with a blanket, and music playing while she works on your lashes. Take a peep at her website, call her with questions or just book your appointment. It's one of the best beauty decisions I have ever made, and I am hooked. Thanks Jess!

However, I saw Brown Sugar Lash Studio's opening deal for a full set and decided to book. Scheduling an appt on the website was super easy and I loved the email reminder the day before. At my first appt, Leola walked me to her lash space and made sure to ask what I wanted for my set. I explained to her some of my lash history and showed her some pictures of some of the sets I have gotten in the past that I liked. I told her I prefer long and wispy, but wanted to stay hybrid. I could tell she really cared about my likes and dislikes and I appreciated the mini consult prior to her starting to lash me. In about 1.5 hrs, (which is a lot faster than some lash artists) I opened my eyes to a beautiful hybrid set that blew my expectations away. She had a gentle hand, and I was able to relax while she worked. I felt so pretty and I immediately was ready to book my fill in a couple weeks. I know myself and after getting lash extensions for years, I usually lose a lot of lashes due to sweaty workouts, side sleeping, and fast hair/lash regrowth... but my retention was really good and honestly much better than I expected for a 3 week fill. Of my fallout, I noticed the lashes were my natural lash with the extension still on, instead of just the lash extension falling off, which tells me the application or glue wasn't an issue and it was just my natural lash fallout over time! At my fill appt, she asked if there were any issues or anything I'd like to change, which I really appreciated. I told her no issues but asked for a little more wispy and she adjusted to exactly what I asked for! I could not have been more happy with my set and her service! If you want a knowledgeably lash artist who cares about making her clients feel gorgeous, then Leola is the girl for you! Highly recommend!!

As her trainer…read more& mentor, I can tell you she has wonderful designing skills and the eye for detail that's so important to creating beautiful, realistic brows! Tami was a joy to train and work with - she was diligent in her studies & practiced her tapping skills for hours beyond the time we had together. She has an energy and a demeanor about her that makes me proud to be connected with her, and I'm very excited to have her join me and flourish in this industry! If you feel unsure about choosing an artist who is relatively young in this field, please don't! I have every bit of trust & faith in her to take excellent care of, and to create a beautiful outcome for, the women & men who are blessed to become her clients. Very sincerely, Karey at Fine Lines Studios

As a working mom of five busy kids, the last thing I think about is myself, and I honestly can say…read morethat before Tami got ahold of me, I probably [intentionally] saw my reflection once a week. I absolutely never took selfies, and got to a point where I was avoiding any photos with my kids and husband, unless I had on a made-up face, which is super rare. Tami's beautiful craft has brought me a sense of confidence and self love that I seemed to have lost somewhere along the way. Now, I am always ready and willing to be IN the candids, instead of insisting on being behind the camera. I never realized what sort of documented memories I missed out on because of how self conscious I was. Her work has truly made me a better mom and wife, because of the confidence she's given back to me. Now that I'm passed the mushy, feel-good reasons, here is the technical reasons why you should choose Tami to craft your brows. 1. She was patient with every SINGLE question I had. Talked me through my concerns, eased me into the fact that I was getting tattoo work done on my face, and walked through all pre and post-care info. 2. She listened to exactly what I wanted, as far as shape and color is concerned. (I've had many friends get microbladed, only to find that their artist didn't stick true to their requests, and strayed from what their client wanted. THIS IS HUGE.) I'm not a makeup person at all, so I really left the overall look in Tami's hands, and couldn't be happier!!! 3. She had great bedside manner, always ensuring that I was comfortable, that the temperature was just right, or that my back and legs weren't cramping. 4. Tami uses a tapping tattoo method, which allows for precision of every single "hair" position, which also led me to one of the best naps I've had in a long time. A M A Z I N G, and the best gift a mom of five could ever ask for. (the nap AND the brows) 5. Post-procedure, Tami checked in with me via text throughout the week, to make sure I was healing well, and to let me know what to anticipate during the next stage of healing. Overall, I would highly recommend everyone to Tami, her knack for brow tattooing and styling comes so naturally, and you can tell she loves what she does!
