The Juicing Gents had some delicious juices for sale.  I tried the blood orange guava, and passion fruit.  Wow!  There was an incredible burst of flavor from the blend of juices.  I have been a fan of POG juice since I visited Hawaii and this is the boldest and freshest version I have ever had.  I added some ice to it from my Tommy Bahama concoction maker and made a slushie.  Amazing drink.  Next time I see them I'll try some more flavors. 2nd visit. I tried the Juicing Gents again.  This time I had the tangerine/guava.  Loved the rich, sweet mix of tangerine and guava flavors.  Delicious.  Next time I'm gonna try the tangerine, passion fruit and guava. Strawberries were at peak ripeness and I loved the sweet strawberry flavor.  They were $15 for 3 packs. Le Rendez Vous French Bakery had baked goods.  French baguette had a thin crunchy crust and a nice mild flavor.  Very good but not on the Bread & Cie level. There is a special area reserved for parking for those with handicap passes. This farmers market has lots of produce, prepared food, and other goods! I didn't see many organic produce stands, but I didn't have the chance to ask if the others use organic practices (pesticide/spray free) yet. There was plenty of space between the many rows to now feel crowded. I'm definitely going back! They even have San Diego Tempeh!! & Sugar Cane Juice... and VEGAN SUSHI!!! From delicious food, to fresh produce, to the most gorgeous and vibrant flowers, to beautiful pottery, to unique clothes... you name it, they have it there! Make sure to come early as parking can be a bit tricky, especially if you want to park closer to the farmers' market. Once you get parked though, everything is a breeze. They even have tables and chairs around for people to eat at. There's also a playground for families who have little ones! I could never go to a farmers' market and leave without fresh flowers, so of course I had to pick up some from Hidalgo Flowers. They always have the most colorful and stunning arrangements, and for a decent price too. This time, I got a bunch with the prettiest sunflowers. We also picked up the sweetest and reddest strawberries from this one vendor. I highly regret not getting their name, but I will definitely be on the hunt for them the minute we go back. We got a cup of strawberries with some dark chocolate sauce from Strawberries and Chocolate. That was sooo good! We devoured it so quickly, we didn't even get to take a picture of it. One of the standouts for me was the Pork Sisig Rice from Baryo Eats. It was AHHHHMAZING!! It's the best kind of pork sisig that I love to eat--the taste was so good and nostalgic, it took me back to my college days back in the Philippines! HIGHLY RECOMMEND. We also got some Paella from Driana Catering/Taste of Spain. It was so flavorful and the rice was cooked to perfection. We were just sad they ran out of shrimp by the time we got some, so we were left with chicken only. We got some goodies from It's Cafe Thai as well--Milk Tea with Boba, Taro Thai Coffee, and the Mango Sticky Rice. All of them had just the right amount of sweetness and hit the spot for us. Lastly, we had some of the watermelon and the cucumber lemonade refreshers, and the chicken and pork tamales from Gourmet Tamales. They were so good, we even took some home for later! You'll know the ones you want. Oceanside? Carlsbad? I am on strike as of now and will be hard pressed to make due with a Driscolls berry. Oh - and this magical little orange. I should have bought 5 pounds. I drank fresh OJ while we were there. 11/10. I'm so happy that after an awesome vacation of vacation dates and treats we get to keep it going with some lighter meals. I made tuna salad with celery and onions. Well have grilled veg with dinner. Magical berries all day. I enjoy a farmers market where I can browse to see the options, but this one felt like you had to know exactly what you wanted and get in and get out. One entire side was prepared food & I didn't see many, if any vegan options. The other side is produce & a plant stand. I am very pleased with the plant stand. The guy was helpful & knowledgeable. I got my very own passion fruit plant! A benefit to this farmers market, if you can find a parking spot- is that you can then walk down to the city beach and wander throughout the rest of Carlsbad Village browsing local shops, like the new book store!

I think I've told at least 10 people since I've been back in New York about these peaches. Unreal. They had flower stands, produce, dips, pizzas, kombucha, fresh pastas, granola, baked goods, breads, gluten free options, I mean something for everyone and more. The place was absolutely hopping, a total mad house in the best way possible. Now let's talk about Grammy's Granola. I meant the nicest woman to ever walk this sweet planet Earth, Janet. I totally forgot about the market, and told her if we can't find a parking space, we're not stopping. And of course, we found one. The best time to go is when they first open. Everyone is friendly before the heat of the day takes its toll...LOL! Except for the "oh so cool wannabe influencer" whose dog wanted to meet Cako but she just pulled her dog away...Eeeewww! LOL! But it's not crowded and easy to walk through. Cako just lead me down the long aisle and our first stop was True Pet Kitchen. She didn't want the chicken treat but she was all over the salmon one! So we bought a bag...err...I bought her a bag. We then wandered down to Kettner. She then pulled me over to Stark, and the friendly guy offered a duck jerky, which she was happy to take. She then sat down for another, and he obliged. So I bought a bag from them too! We stopped at the Honeymoon Ranch stand for some baked goods! There was a man loading up a suitcase and apparently he bought all the banana bread. We scored our own, which was all for me. It's very cute to stop by when I'm in the area visiting some local place in Encinitas. It's a little hard to find parking off the strip, but honestly, it's normally such a nice walk that it's hardly a bother to walk to. Dog friendly (with well-behaved owners) as are most places along the coast, and the vendors are normally sweet small business owners.
