I'm a huge fan of Candles on Tap- where you can create your own custom scented candle. Modern Times Taproom is a fave when I'm wanting a beer and I love the gelato shop. Parking can be a little tricky, but that's how it goes when you're steps away from the city's best dining/retail AND the beach. Go for sunset, stay for drinks & dinner. It's a great place to be!

There are numerous produce vendors, food vendors, crafts vendors and prepared food vendors. There is usually some live music for entertainment you can listen to while partaking of some of the food vendor offerings. For me it's usually either something from Chez Cristophe or the East African Food vendor who sells saffron chicken and sombusas. Parking - it's usually not too hard to find parking on the street... if nothing is available right nearby there usually is some parking up Rosa street. Bathrooms - if needed - are in the main office building. Just go through the main entrance glass doors and the hallway to the right leads right to them. Vibe is laid back and I haven't seen it too crowded all the times I've gone over the years.

It's very cute to stop by when I'm in the area visiting some local place in Encinitas. It's a little hard to find parking off the strip, but honestly, it's normally such a nice walk that it's hardly a bother to walk to. Dog friendly (with well-behaved owners) as are most places along the coast, and the vendors are normally sweet small business owners.

I stopped at a fruit stand, truly wish I could remember which one and I grabbed some enormous peaches, they looked too good to pass up. I've never been so serious when I tell you that these peaches, were out of this damn world. I have never in my life had a peach this good. I think I've told at least 10 people since I've been back in New York about these peaches. Unreal. They had flower stands, produce, dips, pizzas, kombucha, fresh pastas, granola, baked goods, breads, gluten free options, I mean something for everyone and more. The place was absolutely hopping, a total mad house in the best way possible. Now let's talk about Grammy's Granola. I meant the nicest woman to ever walk this sweet planet Earth, Janet. She was from Long Island like me and she made my day and more. I bought her unbelievable zucchini bread and it was DELICIOUS. This is a stand you cannot miss, this woman is a gem!!!

While we didn't buy anything because we were headed to a show and didn't want it to wilt in the hot car. We were pleased by the variety of offerings. Theodore favorite is rainbow chard and they had some for sale. The staff was friendly, it pay what you can with suggested prices and for those who can't afford veggies you can check out in a special line with staff assistance. I love the concept of making fresh food accessible to everyone and anyone. It's such a great mission. The highlight for us was the nature play area; my little one could have stayed there for hours. They've done a fantastic job creating an outdoor experience that's genuinely fun and engaging for kids of all ages. I also loved the "lead experiences" they host every hour. We joined the chicken feeding, which was a huge hit thanks to Daniel! We felt very safe throughout our visit, and the security team was incredibly helpful and a special thanks to Stephanie for that. We're already looking forward to our next trip back!

They literally have options and I love that! I like to grab a smoothie or natural ice tea, a drunken noodle dish from the Thai stand and a beef jerky from that crazy uncle guy before I head out.

I got the coffee/tea combo from the Hong Kong tea booth and it was tasty. The caffeine kick was great and lots of good flavor. The rest of the market was pretty quaint. Had a decent number of fresh vegetables and fruits. And a few jam, honey, baked good stalls too. Not too crowded and the vendors were all really friendly and some had great samples. The food vendors however were great and a decent amount of seating. Ample parking in the lot or the street. Very easy to navigate with a stroller.
