I will be forever great full to the staff here for the kindness they have shown my mother and my family. Sadly my mother passed away a while in the care here. We were unable to visit due to the lockdown but the staff reassured her that we wanted to visit just were unable to. Thank you for taking care of her, getting her moving around on her own, and giving her the divinity she deserved. It's atrocious that they can't follow HIPAA guidelines or hold family conferences to provide updates on patient care for out-of-state members. It's like putting the sole responsibility on the patient for inviting them, when it's their responsibility. Geez, what a crap shot administrative concept, and the communication is questionable. From day one of my mother's stay for rehabilitation, they were given my phone number as well as my email address to track her progress. Since they don't have a patient portal where you can review documents, this feat was difficult for them to even comprehend. Let's say it's more about chasing after them to see anything given, maybe only at the time of discharging the patient, in a fury. It was evident from day one, stepping in to help my mother, that I questioned the operational integrity. I tried to reach the Director of Clinical Services, but her voicemail was out until 01/26/26. It was already February 15th, and it never got changed, though supposedly she was there. I questioned whether they ever had operational or staffing meetings to get everyone on the same page (?). Either way, after all the caustic situations with her at Glacier Hills Rehabilitation/Trinity Health, we decided to file a Grievance, and now I'm waiting to receive the documentation from the Corporate Office in Livonia, Michigan, from Julie Winkel, Corporate Administrator. I feel lucky that we filed a Medicare Appeal referencing non-quality care, which hopefully they'll get a State Audit.

From the cleanliness of the facility, the size of the rooms, the…read morefood, the Director of the facility, the Marketing person, the nursing staff, the caregivers, every element exceeded my expectations. After looking at multiple places, we decided to place my 92 year old dad at Kingsley for short term care. This was our first experience with assisted living, and needless to say we were all anxious that he would have a good experience. He went kicking and screaming. The anxiety quickly melted after our first discussion with the marketing person, and subsequently with all of the care and attention he received from the entire staff. They truly took care of him from their hearts and took him in as family, and eased our minds. When he discharged from their care, several staff members gave him hugs, and he told them he wanted to come and stay again, the best compliment of all. Later, he told me he enjoyed the food, and this man is a finicky eater. I cannot speak highly enough of Kingsley. It's a clean modern facility with an outstanding, very caring staff. God Bless them.

Our 96 year old Aunt is a happy resident at Serenity Manor. I can't say enough about the top notch,…read moreloving care she's receiving. The owners and staff are just wonderful. They treat each resident with utmost respect like family. Her life has been enriched by the beneficial activities she participates in. A wonderful lady directs classes that help her gain and maintain arm and hand strength by exercising with pool noodles. Or, taking turns swatting a balloon with a pretty fly swatter back and forth. Her mind stays sharp with word games played in occupational therapy sessions three times a week. I love observing our Aunt read the the answers off of a large white board. Often 25 answers she reads correctly! I highly recommend this place.
