Once there are two towels, two hand towels and two face washers stacked on the one rail, everything has to be moved for use. There are no shelves or rails or hooks anywhere else in the room so when you shower you leave your clothes on the toilet lid. If you want to hang the hand towels somewhere after use, the bath towels are in the way. Considering the size of the bathroom which is adequate, another rail or hook on the door would have made the whole experience perfect. There is a no smoking sign on the door, however smoking is allowed on the balcony, evidenced by a dirty ash tray on the table in the centre. Love the quirky ceiling fan on the balcony.

Nice showers and great atmosphere. The meeting room we got for our meeting was upgraded with working tech and nice atmosphere. The team had some great food, treats and coffee. Pinecrest cottages was originally a summer retreat and has been around for about 150 years ! at some point about 20 cottages were built. Currant owners Diego & Lynn have owned the property for about 6 years and have done extensive renovations to the buildings and water front area.We brought along our own boat and there was ample space at the dock, pinecrest also has plenty of rental boats of all sizes and free canoes and kayaks .The cottages were clean and comfortable with great vistas and sun sets. The fishing is great either by boat or just off the dock.The cost turned out to be less than we thought ! We enjoyed the night time fires and found the other guests to be friendly, some traveled quite a distance from areas in the U.S and one we spoke to have been visiting for over 25 years ! we had a great week and have pre booked for next year. The cottages are definitely rustic (honestly I think using the word resort in the name is a bit of a stretch) but comfortable. The website descriptions are pretty accurate so i won't waste space on that. There 5 cottages, shared paddle boats, kayaks and canoes. There are frequently lots of families and the kids enjoy running between the beach and play ground. As I said the cottages are rustic but obvious recent improvements such as recently built fire pits for each cottage. Bring a fishing rod...honestly I have no idea what type of fish...but the kids had hours of fun every day fishing off the dock the beach area is good but other than that the lake is pretty weedya

The property is very well maintained and taken care of with no sign of disrepair or complacency, very nicely laid out as well. The cottages are appointed with everything to make your stay as comfortable as can be. Amenities such as fully appointed kitchen, indoor fireplace, bbq, comfortable beds and furniture, sat tv, and of course wifi (that worked perfect). All you need to bring is your clothes and food and you're good to go. The cabins have a nice size deck that faces the water with a fire pit just steps away. There is also a small onsite store and you can rent watercraft to get out on the lake as well. The owner seemed genuinely concerned at making our stay enjoyable yet was not intrusive in the slightest way, very considerate. I would not hesitate to recommend Fees Landing to my friends and family without a fear of disappointing anyone and will go back in the near future.

We are provided a nice overnight stay in a private area with a transparent camping dome. Since it is still the outdoors and I am deathly paranoid of the inconvenience of getting big bites. I would recommend an orb of protection provided by a Thermacell. The villas here are primarily to support the main function of their operation which is wildlife rescue. The tour gives a heart warming story for each of their permanent residents. They are not a zoo but a rescue so they help animals get back to the wild and those that can't are made as enriched and comfortable for the rest of their natural lives. I would recommend to others to try since it supports a noble mission before we will miss being able to go to these places once 15-minute cities get put in place to trap us in our coffins.
