Not family friendly -…read more The apartments themselves are beautiful and the grounds is always well kept. My main concern is the lack of concern Forest Meadows has for the culture there. The pool on site is beautiful, and although it should be a safe place to bring your family, it is not. There is zero dress code or concern that there have been several complaints made about someone dressing completely inappropriately. It is actually so bad that when we see a specific resident at the pool, due to how revealing her attire and behavior is, we leave because I don't know my children to be around that. I spoke with Bob, the owner of Forest Meadows about this, and although he assured me he would personally take care of the situation, he has not. It's disappointing that the person in charge doesn't care to protect the safety of his complex and clearly has zero intention to stop people dressing and acting as such.

We have had almost zero complaints, but anytime we did they went above and beyond to help to fix the problem. Maintenance always came same day anytime we needed. Everyone has been nice and professional. Landscaping is always maintained. Everyday you'll see the crew working on making this place beautiful. They also decorate for every season! It's a wonderful touch. The gym is open 24 hours and has very good equipment. As well as FREE workout classes daily. The pool is warm in the summer and big enough for everyone to enjoy even on crowded days. They even kept it open past most pools because it was still warm out! The office is wonderful and knows everyone names even thought we barley ever go in. Mariah always greets me by name and a smile. You get texted notification on packages that arrive in the office which is great too! Rent is easy to pay online. I almost never hear noise from other apartments unless I'm in the hallway which is huge for me with a baby. Thomas is a hardworking extremely friendly and understanding rental property manager. He has taken time twice to sit down and talk with us about moving since we bought a house. He did everything and then some to help us. This is a great place to live I can't say nicer things about here. They also allow animals which we don't have, but I'm glad we had the option if we wanted. For smokers there are cover pavilions with trash cans and benches which is nice. Everyone that lives here is friendly. We were lucky to have wonderful neighbors. The staff is incredibly responsive. Anything that needs to get fixed gets fixed in a timely manner. The price is a little steep for Ohio, but overall I believe it is a good value. The only thing that happened was that one of our neighbors' pipes burst and part of our room was partially flooded on the ground floor. I think it was handled as well as it could've been -- when we got home they already had fans blowing, moved everything upstairs they could and had cleaned everything up pretty well. We also got a small gift certificate for a nearby nice restaurant for our trouble. I don't remember much being damaged if anything. Our move-out was a dream. No hidden or surprise charges. The staff are very kind and very professional. Would highly recommend. I hope this place stays as classy as it was when we lived there! :)
