The only downside to this place was the small tables (which is an unfortunate necessity given the cozy size of the restaurant).
The appetizer, mains, and sides were all wonderfully delicious. I got a baba ganoush as my appetizer, a fish dish as my main, and some sort of spiced potato bravas as an added on side.
My tastebuds and stomach couldn't have been any happier.
If you want alcohol, be aware that it is a BYOB (we saw multiple tables there that had brought their own bottle of wine with them).
Also, definitely make reservations in advance as this is a very small place.
Side note: the place just up the street from this gets lots of rave reviews, but we dined both at Fitzroys and at Cedar, and Cedar is hands down levels of food better when it comes to fish dishes (we didn't order any steak at Fitzroys, so I can't speak to that). So if you want fish, do yourself a favor and make your rezzies at Cedars. read more
