The front desk personnel are efficient; they get your call where it needs to go, so you can then get the compassionate counsel you need. If you are expecting to get a warm hug AND full on venting, with front desk personnel, your expectations for what front desk personnel do may need a little tweaking. It is always nice when there is a softness to their voice that sends the message "We'll take good care of you". We have found that my daughter truly connects with Kasey Woods and that is essential for growth. I can't put into words the "warm hug" feeling you get just from hearing Ms. Woods' voice. I have found her to go above and beyond, with her empathetic listening to my young daughter. My daughter doesn't share much ; the fact that she looks forward to sessions with Ms. Woods, where she shares, are a Godsend. As a parent, Ms. Woods listens to my concerns in an active, we'll do something about it, way. I love our experience , over the last several months, with TBC.

It's like they just tell you what they think you want to hear and then do whatever they want later. The office manager or whomever is in charge of billing is beyond ugly. She takes an attitude right off the bat with you, and shows no grace, no understanding and is just not a kind person. You would think the person you want in charge of collecting $$, would be one that you'd want not to be rude. We all get that it's a business and needs payment to survive, but one, don't lie to me and two, don't tell people I'm being ugly when all I asked you was a straight forward simple question that was not ugly in the least. Not only that, after working with them for over a decade, it's a hit or miss on the therapist, which is to be expected, but more than one of them have an unparalleled since of entitlement, like being a Christian based therapy makes them akin to God And you are not allowed to have boundaries or not allow people to talk down to you and turns you in to the enemy, and this is with the therapists and office staff. We are all human and as long as we aren't treating them like dog poo, we should get the same respect from them. I just don't understand the attitude or the lying. It's unnecessary and uncalled for.

I went in for a full evaluation and now am now continuing my work to improve my mental health. The downside- the evaluation is expensive and you can't get an appointment until well into the future. The upside- you meet with many clinicians who evaluate you and get to know you really well. For a long time I have struggled and didn't know why. I finally have answers and am on a treatment plan. It has made such an impact. The investment has been well worth it.

Gallatin Center seems to be very short staffed leaving the patients often waiting up to 30 minutes…read morefor their call lights to be answered. Some of the staff members are sometimes short tempered probably as a result of not having enough help. The cleaning crew often doesn't show up and clean the patients rooms. Even when they do straighten the rooms, they usually don't sweep and mop the floors. Rooms look like they need to be painted. The inside of this beautiful facility looks like it has been neglected and let go. It's unfortunate that it is in this kind of shape. Most of the residences here are long-term and I feel bad for them. Unfortunately, the staff is overworked and apparently under appreciated. Otherwise Gallatin Center probably would not be understaffed. I personally think that the staff here probably needs a raise for how understaffed and overworked they are. Thanks again, Karen Harrison

My mother went to Gallatin Center for Rehabilitation and Healing to recover from pneumonia. Within…read moreapproximately two weeks, her condition deteriorated so dramatically that I feared for her life. She developed severe edema and fluid accumulation involving her heart and lungs, became profoundly weak and fatigued, and was so short of breath that she could barely speak without becoming winded. **Let that sink in: I was the one who ultimately had to call an ambulance to get my mother out of this facility. She was transported to the hospital and admitted to the critical care unit.** I cannot adequately describe the fear and helplessness of watching my mother deteriorate while repeatedly trying to get the facility to take our concerns seriously. She was supposed to be receiving rehabilitation and medical care while recovering from pneumonia. Instead, within approximately two weeks, I found myself having to call emergency services because I was so concerned about her condition. I am not a physician, and I will not pretend to make a medical determination about every factor that contributed to her deterioration. But I know what I witnessed, I know the concerns we repeatedly raised, and I know that I ultimately had to call an ambulance and that my mother ended up in critical care. **This was not a minor complaint about an unpleasant stay or poor customer service. This was a frightening medical crisis involving my mother, a vulnerable patient who depended on this facility for her care. I genuinely feared that I was going to lose her.** No family should have to fight this hard to get their loved one the attention and care they need. No family should have to wonder whether their concerns are being ignored while their loved one's condition worsens.

Dr. Kyrzynske's nurses are professional andcompassionate. I've never felt rushed as they gather information, review medications, or make notes for Dr. Kurzynske's review. But, it is Dr. Kurzynske who makes one feel like a real person with real value with real issues. He listens attentively, probes to ascertain issues, is not rebuffed by questions, and makes his patients feel like they've been heard and receiving the best medical attention and actions that a primary care physician could offer. He is knowledgeable and trusted to be current in that knowledge. He views patients as whole persons, physically, mentally, and emotionally. He sees the patient in context of their circumstances (i.e., impacted by needs resulting from work and family situations). His compassion is real and comforting.
