The staff was friendly, and knowledgeable. They had a variety of guns, and for kids they had GoatGuns and other items. They had a bathroom for customers which was well kept and clean. I didn't have time to actually go axe throwing or go to the shooting range but plan to next time I'm in town.

I shot a bunch of guns and it was a total blast, especially the big ass belt-fed gun. It's not cheap, but hey either is ammo and upkeep, so I get it. Nice little gift shop as well, got myself a shot glass. I had a great experience and If I ever end up in Williams again, I'd love to bring a friend or family member here.

We did the 2.5 hour slot canyon repelling tour. The team working at Roam Adventures could not have been nicer - from the lady who checked us in to our assigned guides. We had Jackson and Coleman as guides and they drove us to the base of where Ladder Canyon dumps you out. Then we hiked up to the top of the canyon. The hike alone was a fun adventure! We had a 5 and a half year old with us and the guides made sure to stop often during the hike so we could all catch our breath. Jackson and Coleman were so patient with all of us and kept an extra eye on our little one. They provided clear instructions and always asked if we had questions. Then, when each person would pass through a difficult area or repel, they would be sure we understood what to do, individually. Such attention to detail! I can't recommend this adventure enough - I hope if you do this, you get Jackson and/or Coleman. Great guides who provide a safe yet adrenaline-packed fun!

Today I shot the ShootSig match at Southern Utah Practical Shooters (SUPS) and it was a First Class…read moreexperience. The match format is a mix of GSSF, and SCSA. My buddy and I arrive just before opening (9AM) and filled up a squad. We had our own personal RO to guide and walk us through each of the stages. If we rented an Sig gun, it was $20 ammo included, and the ROs even loaded the magazines for us (total arrive and drive like experience). If you joined ShootSig at the match ($50), they waived the $45 match fee for the first gun and it was $25 for each additional. We shot a total of nine divisions in about 2 hours and were on our way to lunch. They giveaway both Performance and Random prizes to all participants that are ShootSig Members and shoot an Sig firearm.

We were just awestruck how many bay area available of action pistol! We checked in at the office before the our days of competition and the staff were very friendly. We checked out the stages and the bays were all clean (brass free) and well organized. Their wall, props, and other USPSA paraphernalia were clean, straight, and not dingy. What I really liked was each bay had its own huge awning that can house the entire squad from sunlight, sugoi! Porta-potties or bathrooms are just a few bays walk and WiFi and cel signal was available thought the complex. (Yup, from I'm from there are some clubs that have weak or no cel signal in their bays) The match went on flawless and trouble free. SUPS throw out some great well organized matches. I wish Area 1 comes back to SUPS in the future.

I was very right! They were super helpful in helping me to understand what sort of handguns are on offer (for rental) and what to expect both on the range and in the shop. The range felt very safe and even as someone with little experience I felt like I could manage without having an instructor. If you're truly new to shooting sport (like if you haven't ever held a gun before, you'd probably want to start with a class since this experience was more hands off), but their staff is there to guide you through anything you could possibly need to know! Got assigned a lane and when I tried to get near my stall, there was a HUGE group blocking me every time I tried to move and completely taking up all my assigned space at the reload bench. I found out later they had five shooters on the lane next to me when Rowdy's own rules say it's four max. They also had others just watching sucking up valuable space in the tiny range. When I said something to an employee, he just wanted to swipe my card and get me moving out the door.

For the first time, I was able to see or hold real firearms which are allowed in CA only in picture form. Being a resident of CA, I am not allowed to buy them, but at least I can look at them. Ammo prices are fabulous here. I bought what I needed and walked out of the store, thinking "What's wrong with this picture?" It was that I wasn't treated like a potential criminal, as in CA. No ID required, no $1 fee, no computer check, no waiting for the results. Just buy the ammo like a normal law-abiding citizen. One of the friendly gun department staff members compared notes with me about gunsmiths, and we realized that we both favored Bolsa Gunsmithing in Westminster, CA. That was surprising. This store is very well inventoried in just about every category other than firearms and ammunition. It is a pleasure to view all the camping and hiking equipment, as well as home patio furniture and supplies. Thanks for being there for me !
